This place is beautiful and I want to love it, but I keep having bad experiences here. First time, I ordered for pick up, got there at the appointed time, and then had to wait an extra half hour for 2 drinks and 2 breakfast burritos. I'd stopped by during a break from work, thinking it'd be ready at the time they said it was. Breakfast burritos were the best I've ever had though. There were 4 people behind the counter, and 3 of them weren't really doing much in the 30 minutes I waited.

Last time, they gave me 2 wrong drinks out of 3. I saw one when I left and got it switched, but didn't catch the other because it was a friend's drink. They had me taste it and it was the worst thing I've ever tried, and certainly not what I ordered.

So far, their apple cider is bad, their kombucha tastes like it was cut with sparkling water, and their peppermint mocha was delicious. Again, their breakfast burritos are out of this world good.

Unfortunately, the staff is usually on their phone, eating, or talking with each other and not really paying attention. Like I said, I really WANT to love this place. I moved here earlier this year and would like a regular coffee shop. It's just extremely hit and miss with its drinks and the staff don't seem to pay attention to anything but their phones.

An unbelievable pour over establishment. We have never had a bad cup of coffee here. Baristas are knowledgeable and can answer all queries about coffee. We remember when the owners first opened this location and how proud they were of the offerings. Going from selling out of a truck to several successful locations are why we have adored those original gentlemen and how rich this coffee experience was. You will be impressed if you give them one chance. This is from people who coffee hunt for our peace of mind. Loving folks who clearly love coffee. We appreciate opening at Hwy 24 library as well. Will check it out on the drive home some day. Thanks for a great cup of coffee .Love and all blessings to you all!
Two suggestions: Get off your phones and pay attention to your customers; Stop acting like a childish clique joint. Thank you.

I love to try local coffee shops all around the KC area, and this one is definitely in my top favorites!!

I never get syrups in my coffee unless they are homemade, which theirs are! Their iced oat milk latte with vanilla is seriously the very best one I have ever had.

First time visiting and will be back. They have great Covid protocols in place and you can tell from the taste of their coffee they care about their beans. After having worked at a larger local coffee place for a couple years, it's hard to find a coffee store that gives great quality and not just burnt beans; they did an excellent job!!

This definitely is one of my favorite coffee shops in KC, and Ive been to alot of them! I was at the NKC location of this place earlier today, and this location in Lees Summit is SO much better!

I ordered a Sumatra pour over, and it was absolutely awesome! The baristas are so incredibly fun and friendly, and everyone in here is just a pleasure to be around. The roast their beans here as well, and you can see them doing the roasting in the corner. Really cool!

Super clean place, amazing employees, awesome place to do some studying/ work!

My ONLY complaint: The music is SOOOO loud its insane. Please please lower it a touch, my ears hurt.

Besides that, I will absolutely be back, I love this place and i love the people that work here! Give them a shot!

Very nice location and has a very aesthetically pleasing vibe. The coffee and pastries are tasty and I have greatly enjoyed the drinks I ve gotten each time I visit. However, the atmosphere is very close knit and feels uncomfortable when one stays there to work/hangout/read. I understand that many of the visitors are local & have a connection with one another, but it often feels like you re the outcast when walking in. That s not a good feeling to have when going to a coffee shop. I ll continue purchasing coffee through the mobile app and picking up, but have ventured out to other local coffee shops to work/hangout.

We were so excited to try this place after seeing all the great reviews. But the only good thing I can say about it is they did a decent job of social distancing.

We paid way too much for a tiny cup of coffee, without any milk options (don t have reduced fat or skim milk, and almond milk adds $.75) and no sugar-free syrup options. Cost still came out to over $5/latte, made Starbucks look cheap!! Not to mention the metal music and funky smell. Won t be going here again, very disappointed.
