CNN Review

It's a one time visit place. I took a tour and 1st thing I saw was a 8 storey high elevator ... Later I came to know that it was world's highest elevator with only 2 support... Cool!!!!... Then our tour starts and we get some really cool information about how the broadcast is done and some technical stuff. It will not take more than 45 mins to finish the tour and then we can go to gift store where we can buy some suveniours. It has a huge cafe where many restaurants are placed and we can enjoy some good food.

Heavily guarded building but yet amazing place to visit!

I enjoyed seeing how small the sets are in real life.

One warning: Do NOT carry any weapons - not even a Cub Scout pocketknife. They will be confiscated, and you will have to go to Security to retrieve them. (I think if I had taken my pistol with me, they would have called the police - even though I have a permit to carry).

It's not everyday you get to see what goes on behind the scene of a news network. The cable news network is the 1st 24 hrs network who revolutionized news broadcasting. Of course depending on the right side of political spectrum May make the difference however people van enjoy the view of the tour that is given in this headquarter of the cable news news network. Not a lot of picture or video you can take but you get to know a lot of interesting stuff. Enjoy.

Went to CNN tour to experience behind the scene techniques etc. But it does not worth at all. Nothing much has been shown or explained. Only green mat technique explanation at the beginning of show is good, other than that it is just walking down through steps of 8 floors simply. I don't recommend this tour.

If you are interested in how news broadcasting is done, then one should definitely take the tour of the CNN towers.

Good showcasing of the News reporting,staff,the various teams needed and also info about the viewers and various formats that display variety of shows.
Building maintenance work is presently disturbing and the studio tour timings are not maintained on schedule as is the case in most American organisations.
Studio,Works and production are excellent but the building is not an example of some bid,beautiful or hitech construction whereas the core team and technology IS.

Home of CNN news and its other channels. They do a nice tour that gives a bit of the behind the scenes look at the operations. Located downtown right by Centennial Park and easy to group a CNN tour, which will only take an hour or so of your day, with the college football hall of fame, aquarium, or coke tour.

Definitely worth visiting. This place has a hotel inside. The prices are high but for the views and location I guess it's worth it

One of many largest t.v. networks in the world CNN boats of up-to-date News telecast as it happens. The inside of the the studio has many related lobbies to visit. It has food courts and relaxing points to enjoy.

It's cool but the gift shops are kind of disappointing.

I know being that this is their website, and I should say that I get all of my news though CNN, but it's not. I actually disagree with a lot of their views and how they are very one sided. And the attitude of a few of their news anchor, really upsets me. However this tour was well worth the trip no matter who and what your thoughts are. It's more about how evening is run. It was even good enough to keep my 9 year old son and 11 year old nephew interested.

Touristy spot to pay to get a guided tour. Costs a bit under $20 with a neat souvenir shop you don't need to pay to go to. I'd only recommend it for newshounds.

It was my first time visit to any news channel n I loved it!! Tour was very informative and got to know how how news readers read the news. I enjoyed the elevator which was 8 storyed with 2 poles support!!

I had one of my greatest days here. Lots of good food and great sites. Must see whenever in Atlanta, GA.

A tour in this place can teach you lots of things. For instance, the management in CNN.

The experience here is cool. Really surprising that guests can get into some parts for photo opportunities.

It's one campus on with hotels around and lots attractions for visitors to see. It's not all about news here as it would seem from the outside. Highly recommended for visitors to Atlanta.

Skip this cnn studio tour. Waste of money and time. The tour is not good enough for the money (bought ticket for $14). It should be free. Just walking through the hallways and very boring. Please do not waste your money and time. Just go to the atlanta aquarium or cocacola world near the cnn studios location. I do not know why some other review rated it good. I suspect that thouse reviews might be fake. Do not waste money. If you really want to spend that $14, give it to a poor/homeless person.

It's had everything period just go and find out why it's will speak for itself

The restrooms near the food court were filthy. There was a dirty diaper on the counter next to the sink. I stopped by the restroom a couple hours later and it was still there. There was trash on the floor and the soap dispensers were empty.

It is one of the most interesting places I have ever been in. It's almost like a mall. It has tons of restaurants, a hotel, and even tours of where they record CNN reports. They have places for kids TV channels like Cartoon Network. It is a must-see if you are in Atlanta, and I was very impressed by all aspects of it.

Wonderful options for lunch. Plenty of tourist attractions nearby. Next to the Phillips Arena where the Hawks play. Near the new Mercedes Stadium. It's across the street from the Georgia World Congress Center.

Pretty good mall for people waiting for the studio tour. There is a Cartoon Network shop and a CNN shop. Lots of food options and bathrooms.

Wish every politician had their own news agency. Clinton News Network rocks ! Never a negative word. Its like she's never lied or used her position as Sec. Of State for personal gain. And Van Jones, what a cry baby still trying to use fear & ignorance to sway folks.

Nice place to visit and get an idea about how television networks work, It has a tour which takes approximately one hour to finish which is very knowledgeable experience.

It has a building inside the CNN building. That is definitely something to see. And good food.

I was marching in the veterans Day parade, and then afterwards we had stopped here to eat. There's so many varieties of food places inside of here! And then of course the logo. :)

Great location. Lots of different food options. The studio tour is awesome.

I went on the tour of the place it was very informative. I help me understand a little more about what goes not behind the scene in a news studio. If you are thinking of being a journalist. I recommend visit there once.

Took the VIP tour. A fascinating and information-filled experience behind the scenes. You visit a live studio, the control room, etc. Highly recommend.

Walking through a huge food court with a few gift shops while terrible news plays it in a big screen is wonderful dystopian.

If I'm being totally honest, I wasn't impressed. It seemed like we spent more time waiting and walking then we did touring and getting information. They don't show you too many things. Some parts of the tour are interesting, like riding up the largest escalator in the world, as they so happily pointed out their world record. Plus, they offer $2 off at a restaurant and the ticket expired in 2016! It's almost 2018. Perhaps in error. They seem awfully full of themselves here and it takes longer to get through security here then at the airport. I wanted to give the benefit of the doubt but I think there's better things to do in the area then go here. They do have a good selection of food, though.

Can t missed the CNN at tour inside CNN. You will be able to check out how news is made. Awesome experience.

Plenty places to eat. CNN tour was pretty cool. Close to other tourist spots and eateries.

CNN Center is an amazing asset to Atlanta. How soon see you in itself it's pretty cool. The tours are amazing. There's also a hotel connected as well as Philips Arena. Giant Food Court that just underwent major Renovations for the last Super Bowl. Great for conventions events fancy parties, you name it. It opens right out onto Centennial Olympic Park and it's across the street diagonally from SkyView, Atlanta Ferris wheel. Perfect location for all of Atlanta sightseeing as the Civic Center in College Football Hall of Fame are just down the street.

For cancelling Sym-bonic titan, Gen. Rex, and Adult-Swim for crapping up Samurai Jack. Go Steven Universe & I pretty much want you to do something very cool with Todal Drama after Daycare Cartoon Network.

Worst hotel in the world. Seriously, its soviet style hospitality here. Very communist feel to the place.

Took my parents here when they visited. It was like the only part of ATL they liked. Hahaha.

Do not eat at the tacobell inside of here is awful. I waited 15min just to receive a drink while he served everyone else in the line. He even went to fill up someone elses drink while i was standing there. If he was on his phone talking and actually cared about his customers he would actually care. Never coming back to this location.

Interesting to go if you have a stopover of several hours waiting at the airport of Atlanta

Simply impressive, all of their human resources and infrastructure for news. There is a souvenir shop, few communication companies have the capacity to be a "love brand", and for that reason, you even want to have a little CNN souvenir.

Been here alot of times. The food court is has a variety of foods. Easy access to the Phillips Arena for basketball games & concerts.
