The Tour leaves a lot to be desired, I hope they improve it significantly as it is far from being a tourist attraction.

The CNN building tour is very interesting if you are looking to get into broadcasting at all. The staff were extremely friendly and informative. I came here with some friends, who aren't as interested as I am, but they seemed to have a good enough time too. There's a food court here which has a pretty good selection, I just had a sandwich but it was fine. I think it's a fun and informative tour.
If you're ever in Atlanta You Got To GO!!! Great place to visit and take the tour.lots of stuff to do and big food court with plenty of seating but it does get crowded and packed with visitors from ALL over the world.
Great vibe!! If you're hoping to catch the bigger TV anchors you may get lucky but most of them work out of the New York location. Still a great place to visit.
Highly recommend to visit
Awesome place. Great to get to see where it all happens at and how they inform the world.
Interesting experience, tour guide was energetic and pretty knowledgeable, lots of food options.
There's not much to see here. They take you on a guided tour that lasts about an hour, and you see a bit of how the news gets made and broadcasted. It was a bit underwhelming to be honest. The tour either needs to be improved or extended so we can see more of the studio.
I was really disappointed to be honest. I expected this tour to take a lot more time than it did. And most of the tour you are not allowed to take pictures. I think the price for the pictures did they take is truly ridiculous. They are charging $35 for two pictures. If you already purchased this city pass then you'll get in free however I would not purchase this on its own.
This tour is a great way to learn, watch and listen to the elements behind the formation of stories presented by CNN. You get to see the technology, live broadcasts and how all of this comes together to make a live newscast. My only gripe is they try to sell you a picture at a news desk, and you are not allowed to use your camera like other places I have visited. I understand this is a tour (business), but they should allow visitors to take their own pictures at the top of the escalator.
Lots of fast food restraunts but a little crowded due to concert at Phillips Arena
News collection and dissemination is incredibly important, and while this tour is mildly interesting, it is largely a superficial walk through of an office building. You see some sets, a green screen, and a floor of reporters and producers, but from behind glass. In the end, unless your group or guide is particularly engaging, you learn as much or less about news as you might learn about bears at a zoo. Still, it is a family-friendly walking tour, and if you don't mind paying 15 bucks to be advertised to, it isn't unpleasant.
It was fun and very interesting how the CNN worked but there was not much to do. You just walk around the studio and see employees work.
The huge red CNN logo and huge banner reveal its vision ~ The World s Leader of News & Entertainment. Buy a ticket and follow the studio tour to get a glimpse behind the scenes of the busy news network. If you pay for a picture in the studio, you can become a temporary female anchor.
The clear impression is that ~ the dining area saw a group of beautiful Americans wearing baseball outfits (Warriors), and strongly supported cheering for the team they identified; and they saw the face poster of CNN soul figure ~ TED TURNER ~.
This was such an awesome experience to learn about CNN
CNN! CNN! I had a group of high school boys with me, so the studio tour was it if the question. I did like being there, though. Got some pictures of me in front of the logo!
It was really interesting to see how the news is made. There is a tour every 20 mins and it lasts about an hour.
The CNN studio tour was awesome. Their is food gift shops and they tell you everything you can their to see! !!!!!!
The studio is nice, and the tour guide was very enthusiastic. She did a great job! The only issue was the tour was very boring. There was a whole lot of walking and not enough interaction.
The tour was about 15 minutes, start with using an escalator they said is the longest in the world then a theater, after that we walked behind an international live studio, then over the news room and ended up with another theater about 'go there'
Really liked the tour it would have been nice to get to somebody that actually worked in the newsroom but yet it was satisfying
This is great place to visit. They have an outstanding food court.
Great for families with kids. Lots of activities and things to learn. Great touristy things to do. Fun to see the behind scenes of the news.
The tour guide was very nice, he explained in detail everything. It was very interesting I would definitely repeat the experience.
Unforgettable!!! I did the tour with my family and we loved it. We discovered a lot of different departments and take chances to ask for precision
You really don't get to see much. The tour is extremely limited with no exposure to live sets. I was expecting much more considering the cost, it should have been just about free.
There are tour courses for tourists, and there are also merchandise stores for tourists. It would be okay to talk with children.
Very good. It's interesting. I recommend simultaneous translation to other popular languages.
Great tour, especially if you like the telecommunication world.
You really don't get to see a whole lot. CNN films most of its shows in NYC.
Tour was ok, maybe a little too glossed over and high level, but it was something to do with the family. Took just over an hour. Be prepared to walk and go through security. Our teens were not impressed.
A must see. Jammed with people. News turns into Disney.
The CNN tour is incredibly amazing and you may even catch a glimpse of a celebrity or two.
It was kind of neat to see the tour and what goes on at the studio. At $15 each it did feel overpriced and crowded. You ride up the world's longest freestanding escalator and then have 8 tour stops over 50 minutes as they guide you through the exhibit seeing the various newsrooms and studios along with 2 theater stops. No photos for the majority of the tour.
It's pretty cool to be able to tour the studio, and the ride on the escalator is pretty darn cool, but it's just a kind of average tourist thing to do if you have the time.
I almost cried today when I saw CNN was temporarily closed. Anything we can do to make it permanent?
The tour has 2 options, with not much of a difference between the normal and VIP tour . The tour is around an hour . Kids are not allowed on the VIP tour. You can get combo passes if you are touring Atlanta and intend to see a few attractions downtown. The tour is a guided tour and security is present on all tours.
Very lively. There's a lot of food options inside and gift shops. There are tours available but can be on the expensive side for a family larger than 4 people. There's also a connected hotel which is great of you want to visit the park, attend a game, attend conventions, or take part in concerts.
I like it.. They have chick-fil-a in their cafeteria / food court / lobby ground level
So so tour, not too informative, our tour guide couldn't answer the crowds questions... Disappointing to hear, "that's a good question, but I don't know," hmm they have walkie talkies, maybe they could ask someone...
Great staff through out . Ran into Stg. Marquis who was very welcoming, informative about Atlanta history, CNN current status & future remodeling.
Is a new experience been watching cnn every morning ....and have the chance to see the place where all occurs...amazing..
Though I know I should be reviewing more about the tour, can I just say that all my favorite fast foods were in the food court? Twas a sight for hungry stomachs
Great visit. Impressed by the inside of the building. Good guide.
Excellent tours. I enjoyed learning the process of making news.
The tour was interesting but seemed a little short. It was very cool to get to look down into the newsroom.
Cool place to visit with a lot of food options. There is an option to tour the facility that's a little on the pricey side, but if you are there to tour Atlanta, I would definitely take the tour! We were here during the Trump inauguration, which was a really cool experience.
Loved it. Thorough tour . I also like that there's lots of places to eat.
Alot of restuarants inside. Beware of panhandlers though, they tend to hangout at entrance.
World-class stations to visit but need to be good at English
The tour gives exciting background information about the CNN News Center.
The highlight for me was to be able to watch the reporters / journalists live in the offices and the presenters of the morning program.
Eh kind of boring. Tour guide was cool but wasn't much to see. $16 per person to walk through the building and see people on their computers and all the camera equipment and that's it. If you think you are going to see the anchors at work or the more famous people at CNN you won't.
Wasn't that fun, could've had some more interesting elements
The studio tour was not available during my visit but it's interesting to look at the space and building. No fees to visit and there are eatery in the building to grab drink and food. It's convenient to visit together with nearby attractions - coke museum, acquarium, etc.
Worth visiting and see how they cover world wide news
It's worth to see and look behind news screens. Don't expect much. Come prepared, ask questions to make it more interesting and worthwhile.
CNN Center is CNN's worldwide headquarters. The main editorial offices and studios for several CNN news channels are located in the building. The commercial office premises of the facility are fully occupied by CNN and its subsidiary Turner Broadcasting System. The CNN Center is located in downtown Atlanta, Georgia, next to Centennial Olympic Park.
