Clouds Estate Review

ABSOLUTELY beautiful views, wine, bubbly and service. Love this place so much!

What a beautiful place Clouds Estate is. It s probably the nicest hotel we ve ever stayed in. The decor, views, staff and the food are all absolutely fantastic.

The rooms are of a good size and everything is modern and to a very high quality. The views of the mountains are about the best you could hope for. As for hotel itself, it is situated close by to two other excellent vineyards/restaurants, so it s a very short Uber ride for either. It s also worth noting we very much liked the Clouds Chardonnay, which they produce here on the estate.

So, if you are looking for a relaxed, cosy, modern hotel with excellent food and unbelievable decor and scenery, Clouds Estate is definitely worth coming to. If you ve come all the way to Stellenbosch, it s worth doing it properly.

Clouds Estate was brilliant. The view was stunning across to the Franschhoek Valley. The service standard was high. The breakfast was good. I definitely recommend this hotel. Our room 10 was a 1 bedroom suite and cost R2.7k a night.

This is a must, really great service. Felt welcomed and relaxed the moment we arrived.

The staff at the restaurant/tasting room were friendly and helpful.
We loved the generous snack portions with the wine tasting and of course the exquisite view!

This lunch reservation was made at a bit of a last moment event as our previous reservation at another venue was cancelled due to predicted rain and it being a picnic. On driving past the place I saw a advert board for lunch. I called and made a reservation expecting it to be full, being Valentine's day. We got the reservation and we were somewhat concerned about getting in.
What we got on the day exceeded expectations. A beautiful view, albiet in some rain, excellent food wine and service. A very serendipitous experience, it made a Valentine's day a memorable experience.

We came for lunch and a wine tasting - both were excellent with great friendly service. Awesome view and a very intimate setting.
