They always have a good selection of clothing and pretty affordable prices. The workers are very friendly and willing to help. If you're selling to them, just make sure you know what all they're accepting at the time because they don't look through your items immediately and then they'll just return them after a few days if they aren't accepting that particular item of clothing

The employees are so rude they act like they are too good to even be respectful at their JOB ! Anyone can organize clothes for a living your not better than anyone, being rude to people isn't going to get you anywhere
In all my 30 years I do not think I have ever had someone act so rude to me while in their store. All the reviews are spot on - the customer service is TERRIBLE! When you walk in nobody as much as says hello.
I have been in more than one time in the past few years hoping something has changed or maybe if was just an "off day" but that is not the case.
On top of that I would say their prices on used clothing is similar to what you could buy items for brand new on a sale day or with a coupon.
If you are trying to decide if you should try this place out- let me save you a trip and tell you it's not worth it!
Go to a store on a sale day and enjoy being treated with the customer service you deserve!
Offers are a complete joke here. Will not do buisness with them again. I should have taken my stuff back today. Brought in many items new or only worn a couple times. At least $600 worth of items at retail and got $45 offer. Never again!

Said they were accepting winter clothing brought in a bunch of flannel to sell and they ended up not accepting any of it saying it was well loved and sized jrs I m a size 8 so I m not sure how they thought they were jr sizing. And well loved but hardly worn and some had tags on it still. This place is just as bad a Plato s. Won t buy decent stuff yet buys things and tries to sell clothing with pit stains and snags in it. What a joke and rude employees.

They bought some items from me. I opted for store credit and then found plenty of nice things in my size. Only complaint is they didn't have tagged 30% off items ready to sell on the day of the sale. I chose to be there that day for the sale but there essentially was no sale. I purchased some items anyway since prices were good. Workers were friendly.

Staff was rude to me and the people I was with, went in to sell my clothing, but left with it all in hand. Staff made me feel like a nuisance for trying to sell my clothes, and were rude throughout the experience which is what made me decide to sell clothes elsewhere.

I am a weekly customer at Clothes Mentor due to their friendly staff, quality of the merchandise, and wonderful prices. I am always greeted when I walk in the door, which I am very appreciative of. The brands they accept and sale include women s malls brands to upscale, offering a lot of variety. Not only do I buy the merchandise, but they are my only stop for selling. I know that the items they choose to accept are in season and in great condition, allowing another customer to love them just as much as I did! Their guidelines are verbally explained and clearly posted for all to see in order to make the process efficient for all parties. I can t wait to see what I can add to my wardrobe the next time I come in! I ve never left empty handed! Thank you all for making my time in your store an enjoyable one.
The staff is not very friendly especially if you are a seller. They act like they are doing you a favor. I will probably not sell here again.
OMG my daughter and I thought we died and went to heaven the first time we went to the store. The deals were second to none. The customer service at this store is terrible! The sales associate actually rolled her eyes at me with the clothes that I handed her to place back on rack after trying on. Worst customer service, good buys and sales but won t be back due to the associates!

This place is a God send. I was able to get several new shirts, a pair of dress pants, and two blazers for work all for under $75. I really needed professional clothes for work and could not afford them brand new. Every piece was clean and good quality-does not reek of second hand.
Tried calling at least 6 times this week to set up an appointment to buy & could not get anyone to answer. Decided to drive in on Saturday. Hours show they open at 10 on google. Facebook shows they open at 11. In reality they open at 12. However they only are doing buys 3 days a week from 11-4 and not on Saturday. Guess they don t think people have to work these days. Would be nice if they would put all the necessary information on their page to begin with or answer their phones. Rather then waste my time.
Staff is unfriendly. Prices are too high for a thrift shop. Bought a couple things but went impressed enough to go back.
I went in for the first time to try and sell some items. It is a very nice store, very well maintained, nice clothes but the customer service associates are not the kindest of the bunch. They were quite rude, very snooty and didn't make me feel like they needed any of my business. I loved the clothes I saw throughout the store and most likely would have bought items however the customer service turned me away quickly! Makes me sad and I wish I wouldn't have felt so belittled by there demeanor.
I've been twice and I found something to buy each time. The sizes range from Small to Plus. They have a good selection of gently used shoes and designer purses. The only con about this place are the staff - the greeting when you walk in is vacant and generally they ignore you until you pay which is weird/unwelcoming and even though I like the store I don't consider myself a loyal customer.
First time to the store and took two name brand purses to sell. They print a receipt with your name but it does not list items. As I didn't know their process, I asked how do they know it's mine...what shows the purses are mine? Here's the customer service response I received, "this is how we do it and if you don't like it, then go somewhere else". Next she said they will text me to come back to the store so I asked would it be same day, in the afternoon? She said when their done, and so I can leave and come back after the text. Well that was within 15 minutes which is great if I stayed there. She made it seem it would be awhile and not just enough time to get several miles down the road to instantly have to go back. Both purses are new, smells like leather and with original tags of $300 each. I was hoping for a third of the money, so totals $200 cash to me...the offer was $85 for both. So it's ok..... I took back my purses, I don't have to sell them. I also don't and won't go in there again. I will not refer them to anyone. Her words were one thing, her demeanor and attitude is what set me off. My kids were talking about it as well. Maybe the customer service is only good if you're paying them!
NO one spoke to us or cared if we were in the store. Not very friendly, the store is beautiful, some of the prices are way to expensive for what it is.. I think the owner needs to get a handle on customer service and having the staff be friendlier..... ( its a used clothing store, no matter what labels they sell) no one needs to be snooty about working there

I try to drop in once a month and pick up a scarf, a shirt, something for myself. The customer service is great and I especially love the layout- easy to find my colors and sizes.

I m a frequent customer and have had only positive experiences as a customer. Unfortunately, today I tried to inquire about taking some items there as a vendor and it was a totally different experience. Allison, the co-owner, must not realize that her customers and vendors are most likely one in the same. I had my daughter call while we were in the car since I was driving in rain on the interstate. When my daughter asked what items they are taking, the lady who answered told her she would refresh her memory and then when she asked about what seasons they were taking, the worker told her I was getting to that. I didn t think her words to someone trying to support her business were very respectful, so I called right back to talk to the manager. The co-owner told me she heard the worker s side of the conversation and she thought my daughter was the disrespectful one. I heard the whole conversation and have NO IDEA where that came from. I heard her and she simply asked the questions I had told her to ask. Allison told me they talk like that to everyone and that no other person had ever complained about it. So I told her maybe she should listen to the feedback from the one that it did offend. She also told me that she was speaking to me as a vendor and didn t realize we were customers during the initial call. Then she ended the call by basically telling me she was fine with me not shopping there anymore. All because we called and asked what items to bring in and weren t ok with being talked down to. Terrible customer service and management skills if you don t know that your vendor and customer base are often the same. I feel bad for the other owner if this is the norm for how Allison treats anyone dealing with their business. I am not a huge spender, but I was still a customer who regularly supported the store and referred many people there. I can t say that I will be able to do that anymore, which upsets me since I enjoyed going 2-3 times a month. I am glad to know they are individually owned since I like other stores I have been in and want to continue to shop in them. Nothing may come from this review right away, but the owners need to know that the way they treat customers and/or vendors and what they do with feedback from people who support the business will either make or break the business in the long run. No one likes to be treated as if they don t matter or are a nuisance.
Almost every visit I find more then I planned on. Ladies working there are very kind and helpful. This is my favorite store!

I love shopping at Clothes Mentor! I'm really surprised at the negative reviews about customer service, because every time I'm in, the staff is friendly and accommodating. I prefer to shop second hand before buying new. I rarely buy new anymore since shopping at Clothes Mentor. They are very picky about the condition of clothing they accept, so most of the items are either Like New or in Excellent Used Condition.
The offered me $2. 50 for my almost new Miss Me Jeans ... Really ?! a $100 Jeans!
The store itself is great, I ve found lots of things. The selling experience is HORRIBLE! I walk in, and the employee looks me up and down and starts with Are you 18? I am an educated professional. I am already feeling like I am not being taken seriously. She then continued to tell me I need to sit on the FLOOR and go through my 2 small bags to remove anything that was not on the list they have. She says they are only looking for spring and summer things, but not dresses?? I walked out. They just lost my business.
70 percent off everything!! Yes I found lots of good stuff that fit me. I am so sad to see this store closing, it is one of the few stores I could find nice clothing in my size at a good price. Sad day but awesome sale!!
My girlfriend and I went into Clothes Mentor to exchange clothes and right out of the gate the lady at the counter was extremely rude. We asked simple questions and were provided sarcastic or annoyed answers and the staff acted as though we were lesser in some way. Our experience was so poor that we decided not to leave our clothes with them as no amount of money would make up for the absoute atrocity that was Clothes Mentor s customer service. Anyone interested in exchanging clothes here would be better off donating them to a good cause. I might recommend Beautiful Lives Boutique in Fayetteville Arkansas rather than a place that couldn t care less about your business. Thank you for reading.
