Clocked is one of the Athens classics as far as I understand, and it's fairly deserved. The burgers are varied and delicious. I recommend the blackberry bacon jam burger personally. Look to sit outside and enjoy a cold pitcher as inside is a little cramped.

I love the vegan options here! Highly recommend the black bean burger on a lettuce wrap, add tempeh bacon! Sweet potato fries and raspberry habanero ketchup is incredible.

The people that worked there were not very friendly. The hamburger was just OK, the fries were terrible and even milkshake was not very good. I would not eat here again.

Girl seating us had an attitude. Th menus had milkshake spilled all over them. Food was ok. My burger was good, but my daughter's was dripping grease. The waitress was super nice.

The lady working the bar wasn't too good at her job, but the food was decent.

Good food and service but they add a fee if you pay with a credit card. Nothing was mentioned about the fee on the menu but they do mention a 5% fee added to takeout orders. I understand charging the non cash fee but not informing customers about it on the menu is a questionable business practice.

Amazing food, great selection,outstanding atmosphere

I have two small boys and we LOVE this place! For under $6, children can get a FULL portion of many different entrees, along with an organic juice box, a tiny brownie, and a side item. One of my boys got a cheeseburger that was the size of an adult portion. The large Greek salad isn't very large, but was plenty for me. Their vinegar dressing is wonderful... Meals can be pricey, as you pay separate for the entree, and then an additional amount for each side, but it is worth it for the location, atmosphere, and food. The servers are ALWAYS very friendly and helpful. They have 5-6 outdoor picnic tables. When the weather cooperates, this is the place to be!

Stopped in for lunch and opted to eat outside. Order some fries (vs taters) and they were very good. The milkshake needed a spoon more than a straw. Hamburgers were delicious. Attentive, kind service wrapped up a great lunch. Music probably not for everyone but not too loud. Bathrooms clean but very small. Would return. Best little food joint I've found in a while. Loved the decor and 50's sci-fi movies, but the best part was that there was something for everyone on the menu. We have vegan, vegetarians, and carnivores in our group...everyone was happy and full by the end of our meal. I give this little place a huge review.

Inside dining area is small, but they have plenty of wooden tables outside on their patio. Their decorations are space/alien themed. Family and eco friendly. They have vegan/veggie options. I ordered a margarita and it was 75% ice cubes. I also had the black bean burger and Cajun tater tots. They give you a Dubble Bubble gum with your check. Staff is attentive and productive.

The Jalpeno Cream Cheese burger is yummy (wife's burger and fav).

The "Ring of Fire" burger didn't taste like fire at all (my burger). It was like a plain burger couldn't tell there was chipotle sauce.

We split our burgers. I'm glad I did.

Also, they cook the burgers medium to medium well if you don't give any indication.

The french fries and lemonade were delicious.

The onion rings are okay. Too greasy for my taste. My son said "meh" and didn't finish them. They didn't look like the photos. So maybe it was an off day.

The service was okay. The hostess had a hard time estimating time. They take reservations but people don't show up. So they were holding two tables (each holds 6) for a group of 10 that never showed up. A lot of people came and left.

Kids like the bite size brownie with their meal.

I would come back.

One of my favorite joints in town, and that's a tough call considering all the absolutely amazing places to eat in Athens. The veggie-burger here can't be beat and, though I haven't had them, I hear the ACTUAL burgers are pretty dang good, too. I implore you to check out their eclectic menu online that tops your burger with everything from pickled cabbage to peanut butter. Their sweet potato fries are amazing with raspberry jalapeno ketchup and the cole-slaw is the really tasty vinegar base I am still trying to imitate at home. The decor is this weird, kooky, sort of 1950s B-movie shtick I love and there's usually a japanese super-sentai style show above the bar. There's Bell's on draft and great staff to help out and the after dinner mint is one of those unchewable double bubble bubble gums which I find incredibly charming. They have a real connection to the community and even do little contests every once in a while. Make sure to check them out if you're in the mood for a burger or hot dog that's out of this world.

The burgers are great!! The only reason I can't give it five stars is because the onion rings I ordered were dripping grease and it was very unappealing. Other than that they have great service and I can't stress enough how delicious their burgers are. Especially the pimiento cheese burger.

Absolutely LOVE this little gem! We always visit whenever we're in Athens. My daughter loves the peanut butter bacon burger, and I love the Jumbo Deluxe...a bacon cheeseburger with an over easy fried egg on top. DELICIOUS! We also love their fries and onion rings with the Feta cheese dressing. So yummy!

Though the wait can be long, the service and food are quite good! Definitely a good burger place to eat at if you're in Athens.

I love the food here but the service is very slow when they are busy. I'm not criticizing the servers. The seating capacity is more than the kitchen can keep up with. I wouldn't go if I was really hungry but it's a great place to take out of town people.

This place is worth giving a shot. They have big portions for convenient rates. Regularly clean and with great vibes. Would recommend to others.

Found this place yesterday with my boyfriend. Hands down, the best burgers I ve ever had. Even the lettuce on these burgers tastes amazing. Amazing quality for a surprisingly low cost. Go here!

Was told I needed to try clocked for burgers and fries. Unfortunately it was disappointing and our call in order was screwed up nearly three times. Go somewhere else for a mediocre burger and fries.

Simply the best burger place in Athens. They have so many options for burgers and you can even have different kinds of meats. The veggie option is very good as well as you can sub any patty for different veggie burgers. Highly recommend the peanut butter bacon burger. I don't know why, but that burger is just the best thing I've eaten in Athens so far.

First visit to Clocked. Casual dining. Tight seating but it works. Food was greasy great. I will try grilled cheese next time. Kinda dark at night in the interior which leads you to not see what you are eating so well. I may not like what I see during the day. The bench we sat by had water poolooon the floor from somewhere.

They have good hamburgers, just a little expensive.

The food is very fresh and delicious. The only negative would be the amount you get for your money. The burgers are amazing and you can tell the ingredients are fresh and homemade. You just pay more for more food which is the only drawback! Definitely recommend though.

We attempted to go in tonight with 16 people and they told us that they could not accomodate us even though there was plenty of room fir us to sit.

Burgers are OK. Fries/tots are good, but it's their dipping sauces and quirky environment that seem to draw people. Very cramped and you leave smelling like a line cook.

First time couldn't get what I ordered paid for my ice tea and walked out. Went back the other day about a year later, got what I ordered which was nice, but no way this is the best burger in town. If a burger is what you want then it's a place called the grill down town also. Clocked isn't as good as the blind pig.

Awsome service, the burger was delicious, and the Peanut Butter milkshake completed the experience. I did get the cajun fries they were hot and fresh but not my favorite may have to try them regular. For my first visit though I was very happy

Sooooo busy on Saturday night, but that's expected. The hostess was honestly kind of rude, I know when places get busy it's hard to keep friendly, but she called out names like she took it personally that we wanted to eat there. Other than that, the service was great and the food was even better.

This place offers a host of delicious burgers. Veggie frites with feta dipping sauce are my go-to side. Service is good, and the decor is a little out there, in the best way.

Clocked was great! I got the mushroom and Swiss cheese burger. When you order without a bun they give you the option of your burger served on a plate or on a salad. I got the bun on a salad and it was fantastic! Picked onions + lots of nuts and seeds made it a very tasty and filling dinner option. The tator tots are absolutely delicious -- don't forget to choose a dipping sauce from one of their many fun flavors. The blackberry shake was delicious (but watch for seeds because it's made with real fruit). Great vegetarian and vegan options, including the beyond meat "burger."

All around, my experience was fantastic. For starters, the place doesn't have reservations, so one can simply walk right in and order. I could have just eaten the fries from here. The place sure knew how to make them; they were crispy but not burnt anywhere and really flavorful. The burger that I ordered was decently sized and, really, had nothing against it. I almost didn't finish it, as the portions were not in the small side either (but they aren't Cheesecake Factory portions either). My only worry was that it seemed to be pretty small. If the place gets busy, then waits would get longer and volumes would get louder (as the place had no soft surfaces in it, so echoes are prominent). On that note, considering getting a table, I went when the place wasn't too busy, and et could just sit right down However, because this is a local business, that can't count against them. In my opinion, this is definitely a place to visit if you have the time, and if you want a place to consider for American fare.

My favorite place to grab a burger. They also have vegan and vegetarian options that are almost as amazing as the burgers. Love the jalepeno cream cheese burger.

Pretty great experience all around. Atmosphere was great though we had to wait a bit for a table to become available. Burgers and fries were on point. The unique burgers are great but not overdone. Just the right amount of bacon or feta or egg over easy--really good but a little messy on your paperboard tray. I would definitely recommend to anyone in the area. And the price is pretty reasonable for the quality food and downtown atmosphere.

I go to Athens once a year for a conference. Every year, for the last 3 years, I have started my time in Athens with lunch at Clocked! The food is so good. Best burgers! The Ahi Tuna Steak is so delicious! The staff is amazingly hospitable and make you feel like you are right at home. Great beer selection and full bar. Nothing better than a burger and beer! Delicious sweet potato fries and vegetables frittes. Haven't had a bad thing here, highly recommend. I know I'll be back next year

While service can be slow around lunchtime (understandably, it's usually packed) the food makes up for it in a big way, the burgers here are some of the best I've ever had, and the beer selection isn't too bad either. I'd definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a decent burger.

If there is a better burger in Athens I've not had it. They've got burgers and sandwiches for every "ism" and with no trace of pretentiousness as a result. Great little hole in the wall kind of place that, by the grace of God, will never change.
