My opinion is mainly about the behavior of the staff !!! Shocking, no one already greets you, and then when you ask questions, hyper aggressive staff!
I do not know if they know it, but we are not there for pleasure, on the contrary, and in a job like theirs, the compassion would not be too much ... very disappointed of this hospital to the national fame ...

Very rude staff and doctor in a hurry I went to see an "orthopedic teacher" who dispatched me in 3.5 minutes without medical examination just based on a radio. Very disappointed with this hospital really !!!! And after having called because I had lost 1 prescription, they did not want to refill it and sent me back to my general practitioner.

WORST HOSPITAL I HAVE BEEN TO.

WORST HOSPITAL I HAVE BEEN TO.

This hospital has minimum hospitality. I was brought to the emergency unit and asked protocol questions and then tossed and left alone on my bed for nearly 5 hours with a small explanation of you have to wait for the blood test .

Before leaving, I asked one of the medical staff if they know any pharmacy open around but she carelessly replied: I m not the one taking care of you . Such RUDE and UNWELCOMING attitude in this hospital. The only good thing is the doctor that took care of me literally saved my life.

Secondly, I have lost my residence permit (like a passport that allows me to go from and to Europe) and I called them back if they have found it somewhere just to hear well, if you don t remember which ambulance you called, then we cannot help and then they HUNG UP the call. Imagine they hung up on people that needs emergency needs.

Raised and born in Indonesia and having lived in Switzerland, this hospital can be put to shame compared to the latter countries, as this modern and well-equipped Belgian hospital clearly lacks hospitable-minded people. This is when people work just because they have to work. Not longing for putting more effort in the care towards the others.

University hospital therefore necessarily sawtooth medical service. The enormous number of patients does not contribute to optimal quality service, but the fact remains that Saint-Luc is a state-of-the-art mesicalized structure in the branches it deals with. This opital has saved my father 3 times already and I find the services (notably in geriatrics) very competent in all respects. The double rooms are standard size so a little narrow for large families. The catering is well managed good in the high average. The big advantage lies in the fairly wide visiting hours (1 p.m. to 9 p.m.) and the freedom to bring home-made food. The intensive care is also well organized with very experienced doctors.

I went to this hospital for a business visit. It is a Very nice hospital, staff is friendly. Easy to navigate. Plenty of options available to have a small meal in the main atrium. There is no covered parking. Well connected to public transport. There is a taxi stand just outside the main entrance. Prices at visitor restaurant are quite reasonable.

Being received in the emergency room for a respiratory problem and coming out with 2 unconvincing diagnoses (asthma attack or viral pneumonia) so I can go home without worry without medication but he made me sign a document for my blood sample that will serve test for pulmonary embolism. The next day I went to the emergency rooms of clinics in Europe where they diagnosed bacterial pneumonia so treatment with antibiotic (penicillin) .If I did not bother to return to emergency I went home with confidence to die.
I really wonder about university hospitals.

The nephrology department is excellent. Competent doctors, friendly staff, all speaking English and even shared examination note in English. Highly recommended. I would like to also praise the people working in the lab for swift work and friendly approach.

I go to the emergency department for pain in the lower abdomen right being pregnant, after discarding a possible problem with the baby, I get blood tests and urinary delivery services, the results revealed negative, a nurse sends me home "dry and quickly done well" without any explanation, without any indications when the anti pain that I could take if I do not ask for more information and in the middle of everyone in the room waiting while a doctor had assured me to receive me again after the results. In addition I wait more than 2 hours instead of an hour as I was told and if I do not ask the results I'm not told that there was a concern with the levies. I had to give birth in this hospital but having seen the lack of professionalism of the delivery service I will not choose this hospital for my delivery.

It is a paradise for students of nursing, medicine, engineering, beautiful parks to walk around, when the weather is good, taxi services at the back of the hospital, pharmacy, bus line 42 which arrives just outside the main building, bookstore, a small GB express and a quality cafeteria enhance your stay, there is accommodation provided for year-round resident students, I can only wish you a pleasant stay and thank you for being already at more than 13,000 views on this comment, like what sometimes ... a little comment can help a lot ... one more thing, There is the non-profit organization 'le roseau' which welcomes patients who must be hospitalized, the prices of the night is 20.50 euros per night for the common rooms for the first 15 days and decreases a little thereafter ...

Unpleasant staff, mediocre care. Me I was received by a trainee, then I was in a big room (several patients) they forgot the product in port to cath, placed that the next day. AND do not talk about the restoration. Fortunately the family has restored me.

- I called several times to get an appointment for an ultrasound on the neck and for more than 3 weeks, I was told that the person who kept this diary was absent and that I had to remember: I never could have of appointments in this clinic!

- Dr Jadoul in gynecology to avoid !!! My wife consulted it and the only solution she finds when she is faced with something she does not know: "make a baby and it will be better" no but who does she think she is ?! She should have redirected her to another specialist! Especially since she was not very attentive and the kind of doctor "either you do what I tell you, or you are going to be seen, there is no other solution". His words are out of place and only reflect incompetence. She certifies you that you do not have a certain disease x until because she is not able to diagnose it and that prescribing a new pill is more profitable for her despite that it could promote the growth of this disease ... Deplorable!

- patients' consent should be requested before they go through a student for a first diagnosis ... it feels like a white mouse in a laboratory! No respect for the patient !!

Operation schedule not respected, lack of organization, lack of communication towards the patient concerned! how is this possible at the moment ?? it is good to have ambitious expansion projects, but it would be even better to make efforts to improve COMMUNICATION, it is a question of respect for the patient! and there is a job !!!

High quality hospital, despite a battery of tests, which for me seemed useless, brought me absolutely all the answers I asked myself and surely more. I would like to thank the kindness and patience of the medical staff and in particular Doctor Van Regemorter Elliott and his team.

What I like :

What I like :
The willingness to put the human part of the treatment of the patient as a major element: support, customization of treatment and the mere contact with the doctor who takes the trouble to write a note in case of absence during a treatment.

What I like least:
The wait depends on the size of the structure, the difficulty of parking.

Extreme long wait times. No or unclear communication with patients. Unfriendly and non caring staff. Only French. When you speak Dutch or English they treat you as if you come from another planet. A true disgrace.

I spent 18 minutes 31 seconds waiting on a line to get a dentistry appointment. Wasted effort. Nobody picked up. No message says that the correspondent may be online, no indication of the estimated waiting time. No proposal to call me again. Contrary to what your site falsely informs. Could you review your telephone system, which is inappropriate for the size of your institution?

friendly staff, excellent doctors. almost all doctors speak English. I am very satisfied with ENT and Neurology departments. Experienced emergency on Sunday night was 2 hrs waiting, that has been bad experience; but still solved my problem. One friend experienced emergency on Saturday noon time; that waiting time was only 15 mins to see the real doctor. It depends on your emergency and the time of the day i belive.

Intensive care of the most unpleasant, hygiene leaves something to be desired so no wonder to chopper a small microbe to complete you. The icing on the cake is the communication of the staff with your family. They will always call them to tell them that they must turn the page and let you die. And this on your phone's history messenger that you make a small crash on the road to have an extra patient in the ER.

Although this hospital is located in a bilingual municipality, it is not easy for a Fleming to find someone who speaks Dutch. There are ridiculous costs such as an access card, never known elsewhere, and if you pay late, you immediately have a minimum 20 euro increase in your pants. The fees are also significantly higher and almost all doctors are unconventional, read more expensive for the patient. If you ask in advance how much it will cost or how much the doctor in question asks more, your email will never be answered. It is through hospitals like this that our social security becomes unaffordable. They have a website with answers, but only in French.

Absolutely disgusted with this hospital.

Absolutely disgusted with this hospital.
Seen very quickly and sorted very quickly upon arrival, however no-one spoke much English and no-one cared to do more than tell me I was breathless because I m so stressed . I was given medication in the waiting room, the objective of the medication mumbled at me, which led to a panic attack and severe depression feelings. Don t bother with the mediation service either. The doctor I spoke to was very short and insisted that all was my fault for not querying the medication, and for being unable to communicate after being given a relaxant tablet which pushed me close to suicide. I now get to pay for this privilege. If you re referred by a GP, go elsewhere - this hospital is awful.

In short, the doctors will assume you re stressed, allergies to them are a myth, and only go if you speak French because despite having a fluent-English supervisor there, no-one will even try to help you. You ll be sent to a psychiatric team who ll tell you you have anxiety and you re stressed and that you need help, and who won t take no for an answer.

NB: I stayed away from parks and things like that and after about two weeks I was back to normal, especially after a rainy spell. I still have an horrendous cough though, probably would have been fine with a strong antihistamine but obviously speaking to a condescending psychiatrist is the new antihistamine.

Very happy with the service. The doctor took the necessary time and was very human and methodical in his approach. Too bad the architecture of the building that gives the impression of being in a factory, but it's like that in almost all new hospitals

third times but not the fourth. Every time I wait ABOUT 4 hours .
Last time, I was sick. I was coughing like a dog.I had fever and can't well breath.
There is no mercy!
Even water they dont give it! No things
After that, she told me you must first go to the doctor after you came to emergency! But girl!!! i can't breath..
Despites that, i went to the private generalist doctor that he is collaborating with them and I had to wait all the patients 2 hours... Because there was just one doctor.!!
