Had a lovely photo session here with my little Grandaughters cant wait to see the photos

What a fantastic experience! My friend and I attended today for a friends make over - it was fab from start to finish. We were greeted by lovely team members and had a nice drink. Alice did our make up and styled us both to a T - thank you! Never felt so glam! Lenka took our photos and made us both feel so relaxed and really have fun for the shoot. She quickly got our friendship vibe and styled the shoot around us.
After the shoot Kashya edited our photos and helped us whittle them down to the ones that summed us up best (and a lovely headshot for me).
I can highly recommend the team and the day - there are purchase options for every budget and beautiful options. Well looked after, highly professional and I can t wait to come back with my mother!

An amazing experience! We have three children ranging in age from 3 months to 19 and two (very) camera shy parents!! The whole experience was relaxed and enjoyable. My son is particularly shy and Joe was amazing with him - really patient and encouraging. We are so pleased with the final images. Our main priority was to get some pictures which captured our children s characters as opposed to anything too staged and Joe totally did this. Joe you were amazing...thankyou so much for putting us all at ease and giving us some images that will definitely last a lifetime!

I phoned to reschedule on the Wednesday before our sitting on Sunday as my fiance was ill hoping to give 5 days notice only to be told that I would have to of given notice the Friday before (8 days to me but 5 working days to then despite being open 7/7) I was told to keep the appointment in case he got better!!!!!!!
I knew their reputation was dreadful but really?????
Anyway at the end the young girl one the phone told me on this one occasion they would let me reschedule. I told her not to bother and took my money elsewhere.
I should have know that anyone who has to run after you in a mall asking for business wasn't the people to trust with my engagement pictures and I was right.
So I'll go local where I feel less like I'm on a factory line

Clifton Photographic Company really are great! Their premises are fabulous and they offer a brilliant service. The staff put you at ease from the minute you arrive and this continues throughout your experience with them. Each members seems to have a specific role and this really helps. I really enjoyed my experience with them and have another booked. The location is easy, the price is good and the service you receive is second to none. Thank you!

Awful company! Hair and make up was NOTHING like the pictures I showed the make up 'artists'
Management accused me of 'wanting something for nothing' I just wanted what I paid for! A nice picture but it was awful!

We had a family photo shoot and it was brilliant start to finish. Adam was great with the kids and really patient! When we went to view photos we loved all of them, they were so good we had to have them all! The lady who I spoke to on the phone when booking was lovely and couldn't do enough. All staff lovely. Now looking forward to collecting my framed pictures.

Same as someone wrote before me. I get tricked in buying session as a present for my girlfriend it supposed to be 210 or more pounds worth of pictures for promotional price of 30 pounds. REALITY ->>> WE GOT ONLY 1 PICTURE ( DIGITAL VERSION ) NO FRAME OR PRINT OF IT INCLUDED IN THIS PRICE. WE BOUGHT ANOTHER PICTURE ( ALSO DIGITAL VERSION ) FOR 85 POUNDS.
REALITY FACT ONE : QUALITY OF THESE PICTURES SHOULD BE WAY BETTER FOR THIS ENORMOUS PRICE.

I bought this at The Mall Cribbs, after having been approached by the lovely Lady there . Visited the studio for a bit of guilt free pleasure and a good old confidence boost after a tough year. It didn t fail. Absolutely wonderful.

I've been going to this studio since I was a teenager and I always came away with great - can I say - amazing photos. I've used these photos for my portfolio for years. To be honest it's actually pretty reasonably priced for what you get. Both my sisters have used this studio and I have to say, my sisters Linkedin profile is a LOT better since.

Lovely staff and a great fun day - fab photos and they really put me at my ease :-)!

LISTEN TO THE BAD REVIEWS!!! WORST NON EXPERIENCE EVER!! My friend booked this for my birthday and we were looking forward to it for months. We arrived with three change of clothes no hair, no makeup done only to be SENT AWAY and to be told they FORGOT to book us in!!! We travelled 3 hours only to be left red faced!!! Promised an amazing experience with a facial and spa day but the girls there looked miserable with bad hair and makeup done which was awful and so embarrassing!!

Whilst the vouchers for their various photo experiences seem like a lovely gift to give loved ones, I would advise against purchasing them. The full picture/details of what the experience involves is not provided.


When you go to review your photos. what can only be described as an awkward, uncomfortable hard sell of these expensive photo packages by their photographers then ensues.
We were incredibly disappointed with the service we received when we booked up a Grow experience gifted to us by a relative. What should ve been a lovely milestone for our new family turned into a real disappointment and we shall not be returning.

The team is amazing and made me feel very comfortable. The make up was lush and the pictures were fantastic! It was a great way to save (in pictures) my 30s. Had an amazing time, thank you!

We are thrilled at our son's prom photos. He went reluctantly with a group of his close friends to Clifton Photographic Studio on the morning of his prom but came out ecstatic. The two photographers worked tirelessly with the six friends and created a memorable album of photos, both individual and group. They succeeded in putting self conscious teenagers at ease, enabling them to exhibit their individual personalities in their amazing photos. The pictures are creative, highly professional and capture a moment in our son's life which we shall treasure forever. Thank you sooo much. We would highly recommend visits to this studio to mark those special moments.

Absolutely amazing very friendly makes you feel at home

All those saying they're a rip off need to get real. You obvioulsy want something for nothing. Well if you want quality that comes from years of technical learning and experience you've got to pay for it. I charge alot for my IT work. My skill and expertise demands the price I charge. It's expensive but you get the most amazing photographs. Tash made our day a day to remember and we've got photos that everyone who sees them love and want.

The actual photo shoot was great, as was the make up. However I felt extremely pressured to then purchase an image package, which realistically I could not afford, I was then told I was unable to cancel the payments, despite the fact that we had not yet received the images. I feel the company took advantage of us, two impressionable young women. I'm a student and cannot afford to be paying all this money, no matter how little to you it is each month.

We had a great time with the photoshoot which produced a lot of great photos

I never thought I would be able to do something like that. The stuff is amazing. They made me feel very comfortable and they managed to make me look like a pretty and strong woman. I even cried while seeing the pictures.

Both of my daughters have now had a makeover and photo-shoot here (one in February & one today) and both times were amazing experiences ! From the receptionist, the hair & makeup artist, the photographer and the editor. My daughters were made to feel welcome and comfortable and each member of the team were helpful, friendly and professional. They offered information and advice on getting the best photographs possible and ensured my girls had a great time in the process. I felt no pressure at all to spend extra money on the prints but they were so beautiful that I bought them all !! I would highly recommend this company to all of my friends and am already thinking of booking a family shoot ! Thank you very much to all of the team.

Talk about desperate sells...I often see these guys in the Outlet village, Swindon and ofter witness, in my opinion, pushy sells...why would a company be so desperate!?!?

Having won our argument against this company though our credit card company (Section 75), it is not surprising I continue to read such like reviews!!!

I would like to remind the reader with the following support:- In addition to the Supply of Goods and Services Act there are numerous laws which govern the duties and responsibilities of people supplying services. For example, Unfair Trading Regulations provide you with protection from unfair or misleading trading practices; including misleading and 'aggressive' sales tactics!

Ed (CEO of Clifton Photographic Company) during our telephone conversation, I gave you every opportunity to correct the clear wrong doing. The route you choose resulted in a full refund, and apology.

Not an experience I would recommend to anyone. We had the (dis)pleasure of having Harry as our photographer for 2 hours, not only could he not remember our daughters name - even after being corrected multiple times (20+) but the photos he took bordered on average (at best). The finished photos at the end were ok but nothing to recommend about using this place. Also found them to be really quite pushy at selling as others had mentioned. Perhaps would ve purchased more of the photos had they have been up to a decent standard that should be expected.

I had an amazing makeover photoshoot at Clifton Photographic. The whole team was friendly and welcoming. The make up artist was brilliant at helping me decide how I wanted my make up and what would look best in the photos. My hair was amazing, I wish I could wear it like that all the time! The photoshoot was a new experience for me but the photographer was great at suggesting poses and really made me feel at ease. I was amazed when I saw the final photos, I couldn't believe it was actually me! The prices totally reflect the quality of the work and the quality of the prints you get. The whole day was brilliant and so much fun! Thank you, I will definitely be back again soon :D

I wouldn't recommend this experience. I was expecting much better service for this price. I had to wait for my turn with make up artist and the photo session.
I felt in a rush during the whole photo session. I was expecting nice and relaxed experience with lots of professional advice but instead there were quick changes of poses and outfits.
I also felt in a rush and under pressure when I was looking at my photos at the end and I found lady who showed me photos arrogant. Not the best customer service.
I felt tricked with all the prices and overall experience.

Had a few pictures done here. Love the family photos that they do. Very good at taking that special moment. Individual photos are brilliant you feel glamorous for the photo session. It is lovely seeing the photos separately.

Fabulous, professional company. Not inexpensive but the results were stunning

We have been twice now and have had a fantastic time on both occasions. The first was a couple shoot, absolutely pampered and some beautiful photos. The second was a family shoot, such a fun experience for all 5 of us. We were advised to take a change of clothes or bring props that represent our interests, which made us all laugh. The photographer took amazing shots of us all with different backgrounds. We went back a week or so later to choose which photos we wanted, and although the price is higher than other places you truly get what you pay for. We chose a lovely brightly coloured photo printed on aluminium, it is stunning. Would definitely recommend. The staff were very friendly, offered us a drink whilst we waited and made sure we were comfortable.

The most despicable business I've had the misfortune to willingly deal with.

The complete point blank lack of ethical consideration made by this company is astounding. The hard sell model completely diminishes anything good that could be said for the photographer herself and some of the staff aren't worried to make you feel like you must rush else blame you for someone 'missing their lunch' (which I was actually blamed for in a follow up email).

I am not an awkward person and I give praise where praise is warranted but I also get angry when businesses make their profit by exploiting people's emotions to get lots of money out of the public (targeting individuals who probably can't afford it no less) with apparently no scruples, no matter how good the quality of their work. I will first say that it is true that the 'free' session photo shoot we got (a joke really because that's the hook of course) was fun and the photographer was friendly and assertive and I'm sure quite experienced. That part of the experience was good and of course, on the high resolution, perfectly optimized, massive Apple Mac screen, the images looked pretty awesome too. Many were actually very good and there was a lot of them so it was very hard to choose when there is this overwhelming sense of pressure.



Clearly, many people feel very disheartened by this companys behaviour from Google reviews and other reviews elsewhere on the web, I expect that the majority of the 5 star reviews are only due to the fact that customers are bribed to leave one aftewards. The problem is not about wanting quality work for nothing as suggested in one other review, its about putting pressure on people and holding the threat of imminent loss of the images if they dont choose to immediately part with increasing amounts of their cash which is the problem. If they offered some secure system whereby customers could take heavily watermarked thumbnail sized images home to think on but no such advance is extended or intended to be.

At the end of the day, I think the fact that they make you sign a great big disclaimer before giving you your photos says it all about this company, they know that their model is immoral and they just want to try to ignore it and redirect from it so that they can continue to exploit people to keep making money which many of their customers feel bitter about. The photographer/s working there are fools as they are doing themselves a great misdeed associating with these light-of-day-conwomen (and men if any are involved, I didn't see them though).

In 2013 a sales man at the mall trick me into having my new born pictures taken by them by giving me totally different prices of what they really charge. I tried negociating my photos but I left with the feeling of unethical practice and without my first born pictures with family that came all the way from France and Colombia for him! Priceless pictures only taken by them but never recovered!

Not normally one to review my experiences but I feel this is well earnt. I've had 2 seperate visits to the Clifton Photograph Company and have had an absolutely amazing day on both occasions. Every staff member is incredible and have done so well through the pandemic we're currently in.
If you're in any sort of doubt about having an experience here, don't be! You'll have a perfect day.

We were very nervous, as it was our first photo shoot. We were greeted by Harrison, with a warm welcome and a hot coffee. The shoot was fun as he made us feel relaxed. The photo's were amazing. I would recommend going here!

My Mother in Law was pressure sold a deposit for a photograph 'gift experience' by a salesperson whilst shopping at the Mall. On her behalf, I rang to politely ask for her money back for a product she did not want in the first place and More

Honestly the worst customer service ever. They are really nice to you up until they show you all the photos. Afterwards if all images have not been purchased the treatment is so bad. Since February 2020 im still waiting for my product. Emails go back and forth, but they will take so long to reply . Dont recomend them at all. Dont waste your money. Once before i purchased a voucher online. A marketing manager called Martha took a deposit . Then afterwards that was it . When i inquired i was told its expired. This time won a voucher from a raffle draw from them. They sold 2 imagers to me but still havent given the free product dispute me continuasly reminding . Worst service ever!!!

Truly horrendous company just out to get peoples money

They practically refused to give us any prices until after the photo shoot. The (manager?) Debby was so incredibly ill mannered it ruined the experience for us.

Our grandmother set up the whole thing for us and was so happy to finally have a picture of us all together. Very disappointing and of course with these prices we did not buy.

Absolute rip off con artists, they sell you a package telling you it's an absolute brilliant one off deal just for you then constantly ring and hound you to book and haven't got very good communication skills within the business as kept getting phone calls when it was all sorted and booked then they want a deposit from you. I didn't go to the shoot as felt I was already ripped off and didn't want to be ripped off further.

It's expensive, but you get a great range of photos and a great experience if you go for a package.

Don't even want to give them a 1 star they don't deserve it ,they sale the discount package out side the shops which is clear lie they charge you 20 pounds for fhoto shoot ,then you will get a call to pay 39 pounds as refundable deposit ,and then they will send you a pack contain prize list 2 days before fhoto shoot which will say you can not get any money refunded if you don't inform them to cancel the photo shoot less than 5 days before ,until this no one will tell you anything about the photo shoot that it can cost you fortune 80 pounds for 1 photo
I lost 59 pounds as they refuse to return me any money and really want you all to be aware of this scamers

Wow!!! I'm so delighted with our boys prom shoot! I'll be honest the boys weren't sure about it but oh my goodness the images are simply fantastic! These boys have been friends since the beginning and some of them are going their separate ways in September! These photos are priceless... So pleased we talked them into it! Had a Makeover with my sister as a gift for our parents Christmas present. The whole team were lovely from start to finish. We paid the refundable booking deposit and got it back after the shoot, we ended up spending some of it on upgrading our free picture! There was no pressure from anyone, I was really worried about that before we went in but everyone was just lovely.
Really great experience, my parents love the print and have it framed at home.
