Too expensive for what there is to do there. Was figuring for price to get in there would be much more to do and see there.

This was fun to do on a rainy day, but it s a bit expensive. We paid $99 for a family of four. The place is a bit small, but they do the best to work with it. It was pretty neat seeing the trainers interact with the dolphins, and we actually saw a wild dolphin while waiting for our show to start!
Staff are great, and the volunteers are very friendly and helpful!
Great day at the Aquarium today. We really enjoyed seeing Winter and the other rescued marine animals.
This is not really an aquarium, yet... but more of an animal rescue hospital. Even had a bald eagle there today. Definitely worth buying behind the scenes passes Winter and Hope still there, and one named Nicholas.
This place is very very very small, the staff pretty much ignores you. There really isn't much to do or see. Not a good experience at all. I recommend the florida a aquarium if you want to have a good time, you'll see a lot and do a lot and the staff is very friendly.
Way overpriced for the content, whether you call it museum or hospital. The boat ride should be either included in the price or other options for the price of the ticket. Also no one checked our parking ticket so probably could of parked for free which should also be included in the price. Will not recommend.
Only about 20-30 minutes of displays. Not worth the money.
Although I enjoyed the aquarium, I felt it could have been a little more interactive. But it is well kept and is really nice to enjoy the animals there. I love hands on and theres not too much hands on if any at all. The price was decent and it is a good place to bring the kids.
. ? . . ?
You work delfin yes u no.
Our grandkids loved it. Lots of friendly and informative staff.
We celebrated my daughter's 10th birthday at the Clearwater Marine Aquarium today. All of her hopes, dreams, and wishes came true today. The staff at the aquarium is amazing. Our behind the scenes guide was awesome! ( I think her name is Lexie) She was quirky, smart and very engaging with the kids. My daughter and I also had the privilege of meeting a man named Thomas. Thomas's kindness and generosity took our experience from best trip ever to BEST TRIP EVER!!!!! Thank you.
Just OK .. if you want to enjoy about 2 hours of the day that's really all you need here.
Very fun place to stop in and see some beautiful sea life.
Amazing and all proceeds from gift shop go back into their animals and rescues
Kids had a great time, it's a rescue center the boat sea safari was brilliant!!
Highly recommend and was the greatest experience ever. Winter is adorable and the boat ride was amazing
Great place for kids to learn, experience and interact with marine life. Most staff are interns from Marine Sciences or marine biology majors which is good because they are gaining a great working experience. The staff will go to any length to make the guests feel welcome I will answer you professionally any answers you might have regarding marine life, the patients or their treatment status. Some people whine and complain that the place is too small but it's not about quantity it's about quality for this is not World Disney World. They are not here to make your dreams come true but to save marine life which has been hurt by our negligence and reckless ways of life. Most animals living here were hurt in some way or others by humans.
Always getting better!Always a must see!! I'd say one of the few places that really reinvests the $$ you spend there.
Also doing a great job during Covid.
Well under the banner of the whale rescue its just a gimmic of making you spend some money. Though there is nothing special about that aquarium after 5.00pm since they do not have any interesting shows at those hours. But if you are a animal lover just go for the sake of donation.
It was terrible. I fell at the entrance. The signage is poor. It was expensive. It's better just to donate to their cause. I saw maybe 4 animals and tanks that were completely empty. Staff pushing you out of the aisle and that was the only way you could see anything. Just donate and save your price of admission.
Waste of time
Host does not have good communications with the public
Staff is always amazing. They really have for what they do
This place is something slightly different than what you would usually expect from an aquarium. It doesn't host a lot of different species, however, the stories of animals in their care are incredibly heartwarming, and the fact you can see the rehabilitation center for yourself is absolutely amazing.
They help injured animals, and they do marine biology research.
Pricey but I want to go back again. I love winter that's pricey to if you wanted to pet her but it's in my home town where I grew up I have history there so everything was wonderful just wish it wasn't so highly priced
We really enjoyed our visit! Well worth the time and money. You will enjoy every minute.
It only takes about 15-20 mins of seeing everything
It seems like the only way to really see much is to pay extra for some of the tours. It was crowded when we went about 1:30 on a Wednesday. The marine life were in tanks that were difficult to see into.
It's amazing!
I go here a lot and I would recommend it to a lot of people. The gift shop and tickets may be expensive but that's because they have to pay to keep the business alive and to keep the animals alive.
The staff is also amazing! They are so helpful.
Again, I would recommend it for everyone. Wouldn't you agree?
there was not much to do or see. very disappointing
There was not a lot of stuff to do here. And was quite expensive for nothing
It was awesome, I LOVE WINTER AND HOPE ,it was my dream to see Winter, and I did . They didnt let us go to the top of the tank it was closed.
Nice place, seen dolphin show, sea turtles and pet sting rays. I advise getting the boatride with your tickets.. Nice relaxing ride and we seen schools of maternal groups of dolphins in the wild..
I took my 4 yo and 1 yo. I had my 1 yo in a stroller so I could have my hands free for the 4 yo. The place was not stroller nor would it be very wheelchair friendly. I think we missed a whole section because of this. My 4 yo is in love with learning all about animals right now and was so excited to go to the aquarium. When we first got there there was a "touch" tank with starfish and see urchins. The administrator over that tank out a sea urchin in a little container to be touched. When my son asked nicely if he could touch the starfish she told him that they get mad so he couldn't touch them. Now when my son sees a starfish he asks me if it's mad. How hard would it have been to take the starfish out of the tank for a minute? Otherwise, I did notice the animals all looked well taken care of.
Not really worthwhile. Then book a boat tour and watch dolphins in the great outdoors. When it rains, the upper deck (Dolphin Nicholas) is inaccessible, so all visitors are in a hall (Dolphins Winter and Hope). It is v. A. Interesting for the fans of the relevant films but not really $ 25 entry per person / $ 20 per child up to 12 years worth. Plus. Parking fees.
Great reminder of the consequences of human activities... The rehab program is doing great things! Great place to learn.
It was our first time coming there and our children love it, it was amazing, great and especially seeing Winter there as well. Ever since the movie came out we want to see Winter ever since we left bed in Pennsylvania and now we live here in Florida and we took this opportunity to see him...
Good to visit on a half day trip...kids loved the dolphin show very close to them on the terrace
This place is great. Staff and volunteers are very friendly and knowledgeable. Will probably come back after construction of new dolphin habitat.
It was so amazing to see the love and dedication of the staff and volunteers. We had a great time
Maginfique place where aquatic animals are well cared for and rehabilitated according to these abilities.
Winter the dolphin and surtt the fact of being able to touch the rays very playful
Completely awesome experience! Will return every chance we get!
This was a huge disappointment. Maybe it was a lot better before the pandemic? We made reservations for 10 am when they opened. Apparently so did another 100-150 people. They constantly encourage social distancing, but make it impossible with so many people at one time. They also say masks are required, but don't enforce it as we saw quite a few whole families without masks. As for the aquarium itself, there were not many exhibits. We are animal lovers. I think it's great that are helping wildlife, but as an aquarium, this was terrible. Some animals were not on display as they were cleaning the exhibit while we were there. We made it approximately 40 minutes before we'd seen everything there and were claustrophobic from the crowd. Also, EVERYTHING was Dolphin Tale related. Maybe if you have a little one who loved Dolphin Tale they would enjoy this. Otherwise not worth the admission.
What a great experience. I hadn't been in about 30 years and the changes have been amazing. Great location and the staff was super helpful.
This is a rescue aquarium. Not as many sea creatures as one might expect. Good place to support marine research and sea life.
The caregivers and staff were very friendly and appreciate you. Without the public coming to see Winter, Hope, and the rest of the aquarium it would not exist. The place is very clean and the animals are AMAZING. I'm going back again and again.
Love seeing the Dolphins and the other animals! A little overpriced for what there is to see and do. However, I understand that it is to help support the animals that need rescued and the daily care for those and the permanent animals at the aquarium.
This place was fantastic! They are doing great work there. Their presentations were very informative and entertaining. Glad to see these animals have a place to live.
We did the behind the scenes tour and the eco tour. Both very interesting. We saw Winter, Hope and Nicholas.
My daughter and I really enjoyed the experience. The staff was very helpful and available to talk to. Thank you so much.
Small, very confusing lay out and directions inside. Awesome rescue center, but $23 per person may be steep for what you get.
Very friendly and educational! Seen otters, turtles, dolphins and more. Great time!
I loved so much. They an exhibit to see river otters, sharks and the dolphins. They had lots of opportunities to meet winter!
Y'all charge way too much Damn!!! Even tho we met actors. Not disabled friendly. No ramps 4 wheelchairs at all WTHECK!!!!
Was not a fan of the price paid for how small the facility was.
We have a wonderful time. We just didn't get to see as much of Winter as we were hoping. There were tons of other dolphins and animals to see which was great, but we just wanted to be able to see Winter better
Take your kids here, its very educational and quite an experience for them! And hear the real story about Winter!
Love this place. They do a great job with all the mammals. Highly recommended
I love this place, and I think it is more of a marine hospital instead of an aquarium because aquariuns are prisons to marine animals and marine hospitals as the sign said Rescue, Rehab, and Release marine life UNLESS they absolutly have to keep them then they give them proper
Treatment to make the marine life the best home instead of feeling imprisoned, Winter, Hope, and Nicholas have an amazing home (all the dolphins)
Overpriced, outdated facility with very little to see or do. It is spread out into two locations not near each other. If you have a good coupon it's probably worth it to see it once but absolutely no revisit value.
Super friendly, helpful staff and a wonderful organization! Those who say you can't stay longer than an hour must be blind or unable to be pleased with anything.
It was great! Kids 8 and 11 with us, but even if you don't have kids, you'll learn a ton. Hope was doing a lot of swimming/training, Winter had the tail on a couple different times but also rested a lot... but she is older!
Otters, pelicans, turtles, sharks, stingrays, and 3 dolphins, plus a real, working marine rehabilitation center. Lots to see and do. We also went on the Sea Life Safari (boat tour). Highly recommended! Tyler, the marine biologist on the boat was funny and knowledgeable. We saw 3 dolphins in the bay but they were far away and moving fast. Still very cool with net pull and closeup showings of crabs, fish, urchins, and more!
Please, please, please: Do yourself a favour, don't go!!!!
2 sharks in one pool. Three dolphins in another one. Nothing to see.
Just a story of an incapacitated dolphin
This place is exactly what dreams are made of. They aren t like SeaWorld, they actually care for these animals and aren t just keeping them to turn a profit. It shows, the compassion and knowledge each and every one of these individuals share is so passionate and raw. If you are in the area, please visit this place and support them. You will not regret it.
I love the water and I am actually from Clearwater, but transportation there from the beach was complicated. Entry into the building was complicated. Picture people up front were rather pushy. They got mad when we wouldn't have our picture taken. I wasn't sure she was going to let us in. Best part: Talking to the divers in the tank via written cards. THEY were cool. Sad, though, when my favorite part of an aquarium are the humans.
Great place and very informative. Love what they do for the animals.
Although the facility was undergoing a renovation, the aquariums mission in itself is reason to visit. It is fairly small, but has enough to see (like the two nurse sharks). And Winter the dolphin is always a pleasure. As the website states, it is an animal sanctuary first, aquarium second.
Grew up near here ...30 yrs ago ..and the area looks so much the same...As for the aquarium..HANDS DOWN THE BEST THING WE DID IN FLA...Staff was amazing and so helpful was a pleasure to visit a place where you can tell good is being done.
Thank you again for making myself and family so comfortable and we'll be back again!!
Disappointing, Winter looked very tired of people.oogeling her
Great place for kids. See the real Winter and Hope.
Nice place for kids. Parking on site.everyone who works there are nice and friendly
