OVERRATED 80% of the tanks are empty. We saw two otters, a couple of dolphins, a few fish that were nothing to rave about. It s confusing once inside, you don t know where to go. On a positive note we touched stingrays which was fun and the staff was well educated but that s all I can say. TAMPA s Aquarium is by FAR better. We left here like... that s it .

I went last year. We paid extra for the "close up" tour. What a joke. They showed us where the boat docked, where they store their boots, and pics on the wall of turtles. You can see Winter over a fence about 25 feet away. He did not have his prosthetic on. I asked, they told me he doesn't need it everyday. They are exploiting Winter. I felt sad when I left.

I am still so excited about visiting here! I learned so much. I really wish I had not waited so long. Being here sure made me miss my kids being little. Even adults are humbled by nature's beauty. This aquarium is a wonderful educational facility for kids of all ages. If you are in the area, do not miss out on this ocean treasure!

I loved this place when we went. They did family photos, there was tons of education on their animals. A little sad how small the place was, but they were expanding for larger habitats when we went and these animals can t live in wildlife again and are mostly rescued. I think the employees are amazing! And was super impressed with the little dolphin show.

This was a truly wonderful experience. Unlike other aquariums, the animals in this facility were strictly those being rehabilitated. Of course, seeing the famous dolphin Winter was amazing, but the other presentations of other dolphins, turtles, and stringrays were also exciting. My favorite part was the Stingray attraction, where guests are permitted to lightly touch and feed the stingrays. This is a beautifully family friendly environment, with an initiative that should be supported.

Agree with the last three. It's a rehab facility open to the public. This is not an aquarium. Glad the money goes to a good cause although I have to wonder this too as there were lots of leaks in the tanks and nothing looked new except the merch... Said I dropped $50 on this for about 15min of nothing...

Our 8yo granddaughter is interested in marine life. She had read several books and seen the Dolphin's Tale movies. We told her for her birthday we'd take her to Clearwater Beach for a couple days. She really wanted to see Winter, the dolphin with the prosthetic tail. We purchased the Behind the Scenes Tour which includes general admission. Our guide, Laura was full of information about the Marine life and about the facility. She has been with the facility for many years. We all learned a lot and it reminded me of the love I had for marine biology as a teen. We felt like our money went to a good cause, our granddaughter had a good time, but I don't see spending more than a couple hours there.

Under construction while we were there but was overall a good experience. Very informative and the staff was friendly. Smaller than I thought itd be however, it only took us about 45 min

Everyone must mark this on your places to visit. Every half hour they have some sort of presentation or show. Make sure to stop at the gift shop on your way out and pick up a few souvenirs! And don't forget to make a donation to help in their rehabilitation efforts!

Was very interesting. I did like the place but I can't say as I loved it. I love dolphins but I wish they would of had more things to see, like fish and MANATEES and sharks. I would totally recommend going, it just needs more.

Love it. Very nice and informative experience. We found street parking which was great also. Not your typical aquarium but that's why I liked it. It's a working rehabilitation aquarium with some full time residents. The aquarium is spread inside and outside tons of photo ops. Make sure you go see Rufus, he needs love too.

Excellent place inexpensive discount tickets are out there. Staff helpful, boat ride cheap15$ and informative. We truly enjoyed it feels good knowing any money spent goes to help more marine life, keep up the good work.

We went on a Monday. It was very crowded. There are only a couple exhibits. For $25 per adult you need to be in the mindset that you are supporting their rescue efforts rather than feeling like you've gotten a good value out of your trip. The whole aquarium takes about an hour and a half to see, and that's if you take the time for some of the presentations.

I highly recommend *not* bringing an infant in a stroller. All the hallways are too tight to navigate with one.

Great place, sparked my desire to pursue a career in marine biology. Just recently came back there since my first time around 2011. Before and after photos of my niece :) Great memories

Amazing place! You can tell the staff are really into care for the animals and educating us about the animals they are rehabilitating! We paid for an experience and became a part of the show and fed Nicolas!

Surprised the kids with a trip to go meet Winter and Hope! They had the best time. Loved that it was small enough that you could see and do everything in 2-3 hours. Even with driving from Orlando, the entire experience, with the bells and whistles, cost less than tickets to Disney. :)

If you haven't seen the kid's movie Dolphin Tale, Clearwater aquarium is just ok. It's not very big and there isn't a large variety of creatures. Mostly just a few dolphins and sea turtles. They do have a schedule of shows and such that can add to the experience, but if you aren't attending those, you can see everything they have to offer in a very short time.

Worth the trip, small but very educational and informative. Great for children and sea lovers!!! I enjoyed every minute of it! Thanks to all staff at the Aquarium for their love and dedication!

We visited about 5 years ago and loved it. However the visit today was very disappointing. It appears that there are many renovations going on. We got through the entire aquarium in less than 30 minutes. Admission price is way too much for 30 minutes. My boys lost interest very quickly as there s was little to no interaction with guests.

The work that is going on here is wonderful. It's certainly worth a visit and the cause is great. Be sure to go, I certainly will be back anytime I am in Tampa. Highly suggest a visit.
