I was very happy with with the service I received. They were always very helpful, respectful and kind. not once did I feel embarrassed or anything. I have no complaints and I even referred referred them to other people.
This company was the answer to my prayers. Talk about a life line, they were extremely helpful. Compassionate, professional, they helped me get on the right path. Felt like they really cared and showed me the correct way forward.
I don t know about what these lower reviews say honestly because I ve had nothing but good interactions with this company. They don t take out any money they re not supposed to from me. Only what I agreed to pay per month. They ve really helped me to lower my debt as they said they would and my credit score is going up as a result. And if I am late on a payment they are understanding and will reschedule it for me. I can see everything clearly from my account, what has been settled and what is being worked on. they ve helped me a lot and I appreciate them.
Stay far away from Clear Advantage! Not worth the stress, frustration and headache! Takes forever to help settle accounts ..you will find yourself being sued by creditors because they take so long to start settling. You think everything is being negotiated and it s not! Stay away!
I have worked with this company to reduce my debt for the past two years. I have put my full trust into them as a company. Now I am questioning my decision to do so. I agreed to pay off my largest client first. I scratched together the massive payment from the settlement and sent it COA's way. I even ignored their substantial fee and took a breath as I thought it was settled. Cut to 6 months later. The account is not settled and has to be renegotiated. The reason has turned into a he said / she said between me and COA and they aren't offering ANY solutions.
They said I didn't pay 1 months commitment. But that was supposed to be included in a massive sum I sent to them that month for the large settlement. Regardless, the renegotiation will earn them yet another MASSIVE settlement fee. It is shady stuff. I am actively engaging management for a solution, but they are acting like there is nothing to be done. All the money I paid towards the client will be acknowledged in the renegotiations, but if you ask me, I am getting pretty ripped off here. After the 2nd fee and renegotiations I doubt I will have saved any money going with this company. Should have just paid the creditor.
This snafu just extended my program 2 more years. Don't drink the kool aid.
Super aggressive dude on the phone, as in beyond aggressive. I told him, let me think about this and I ll contact you back. I was serious about calling back. But this dude got overly aggressive even after I repeatedly said I didn t want to be rude by hanging up on him. All I could think was this dude is desperate to make a sale or has a temper problem. Now thinking back on the options for services they provide, I realize they aren t offering anything I can t do on my own. Yes, you can reach a settle with your creditors on your own. Yes, you can get a debt consolidating low interest loan if needed on your own. Yes, you can create a budget on your own. Unless you re someone completely incapable of doing these things, you don t need these people. Remember, sometimes the cure can be worse than the illness itself.
I just finished the program and I m so happy I did it. Took me two years which flew by. I would tell anyone who needs it to do it. They are helpful and supportive. 5 stars
I found this program to be extremely unhelpful. While they did settle a few accounts, they were extremely slow and unhelp with everything I asked them to do and their program as a while lacks transparency. I would recommend seeking help from almost any other program over them.
Update: The staff reached out to me after my review and sent one email. I replied to their email and once again I hear absolutely nothing back from them.
Clear one was such a blessing in my life! I did not have one issue with the 20+ representatives I spoke to during my 3 years with the company. They always understood my issues and needs and did their best to assist me. I would recommend them to anyone trying to consolidate debt. I was very skeptical because this was my first time trying this service but I was walked through the whole process and everyone made it so easy and understandable.
After being on the program for all most 2 years when I was finally told that my final payments were coming up only two by the way suddenly I get a call one of my debtor's ate willing to settle for a few thousand dollars I ended the proof immediately! I will no longer be stuck in this program after 2 years and which they should have already cleared all of my debts that I paid into this program with. Just don't get in debt that's the best advice.
