Showing up and showing out, Fast and friendly are just a couple of the rallying mantra's of Cleanslate. Neighborhood beautification is just means in which they inter a community to begin it's transformation. They not only beautify the streets of a community they touch and beautify the soul of a community. They provide transitional job opportunities for those of us who are looking for a hope shot. I believe they should be in every neighborhood in the city. Maybe this is one way to curb the violence in our neighborhood...pun intended
Conducive to producing your best efforts at the highest degree in my humble opinion. The staff and interns are very nice, clean and professional.
The program itself is marvelous, the staff at the Ashland site is unprofessional and drama felt. There is a control issue and battle within the ranks, there is disconnection and division among the Mangers, Crew Chiefs, and interns. Intimidation is powerful there, I was able to move up in the company in a very short time because hard work and reliability is short by the people who have been there. I became the black sheep because everything that some told me I couldn t done, I did and did it in a timely matter to the completion of it!! That in their words showed up the others which became a problem for me till they dismissed me for Unprofessional language, the first trouble I had been in while being they for 8 months.
A nice place. With great people working there. And it's awesome what they do for Chicago communities.
The offices could use more space, but the staff are very friendly & helpful. Most importantly, the staff all have special qualities that give their services merit.
Cara program is great 30 days unpaid training that leads to a job. And more!
