BAD EXPERIENCE
BAD EXPERIENCE
On February 5, my mother had surgery and I will try to summarize our experience.
They make us go at 11 in the morning because the operation was supposed to be at 1:00 pm, no! From 11 a.m. to 1:45 p.m. we were in a corridor that they call the waiting room, which is open, with a continuous passage of people to go to the cafeteria. My mother has been fasting since the day before ... it is not very pleasant to be without eating for hours and to be put next to the food, all and with that we have paid a quite high amount where they promised that they would give a room for the patient nothing more arrive, upon admission while waiting for surgery. False! The room was assigned to them once he entered the operating room.
Once it was intervened there was an error (I do not know who), from the resuscitation room instead of raising it to the room that had previously paid they put it in a BOX ... there until someone noticed and luckily they raised it to his room. What's more, they told you, madam, you paid a lot to be here, a shame.
As for the nursing staff, well ... we went through three different shifts, the worst being at night. The nurse who touched us spoke to us in a haughty way and had a lot of know-it-all, when among the colleagues themselves they were contradicting each other regarding the patient's condition.
The food service for the NEFASTO patient, I understand that after a surgery you have to follow some guidelines, but the next day they tell you to choose between a glass of milk, juice or a piece of bread with cheese. As???? that you can only choose one thing after the pasta that I have paid ???? SHAMEFUL!!!!
And not to mention the cafeteria of the clinic which as a companion I could not even access due to the new hours they have because of COVID. from 8 in the morning to 8 in the afternoon from Monday to Friday, but be careful! forget about the weekend because it's closed. How is it possible that such an essential service of the clinic is closed during the weekend? So the companions who come from abroad and have to stay there by force majeure, we have to be forced to go abroad to be able to eat / have dinner. That they do not want to look for excuses for COVID, what happens that during the weekend the virus attacks with more force in the cafeteria? I don't know in Barcelona, but in Tarragona hospital cafeterias are open from Monday to Sunday.
I think they should review the action protocols, when a person decides to go private, it is to have an "INDIVIDUAL AND PERSONALIZED" treatment and enjoy some advantages, not the same as that offered by social security, because for that we stay in security social and we save a few thousand euros.
IF I TOLD ME YES, I RECOMMEND THIS CLINIC, I WOULD SAY NO !!!
