CJ Charles Review

I bought my first watch from them a couple of years ago. Right off the bat they not only gave me the most competitive price, but they were as easy to work with as you can get. Brandon really knows his stuff and unlike other sales persons, will not pressure you nor use shady tactics to get your business. I've since had several of my friends and family also purchase watches from him and all had same experiences. They go that extra step that leaves such a satisfying impression with the customer. Great prices, great service. I work in the retail industry and you cant ask for more than that. This honestly is not a sponsored review or anything. Just a customer telling it like it is. I highly recommend anyone interested in timepieces to give them a try. Youll likely end up with an AD you can count on.

I have been a CJ Charles customer for years, dealing primarily with Brandon in the Panerai Boutique, but also with the owner Vihad. The thing that is different about this jeweler and its team, is that they get to know you , your likes and dislikes, with no pressure sales. There lineup of jewelry covers all price points, brands and they also provide first class service on repairs, an important aspect of loyalty. I can recommend this jeweler to anyone who is looking for a watch or jewelry with the highest confidence for a great buying experience.

I am continually impressed with the professionalism, knowledge and friendliness of the staff. Although I do most of my business there with Brandon, I am always treated extremely well by all of the staff. My most recent purchase was another fantastic experience. I had a phenomenal experience with this jeweler.
I had been searching EVERYWHERE for a very specific
Cartier watch for my daughter s 30th birthday and had made a big mistake ordering what was advertised as this watch on EBAY and of course it was not the correct watch. Once I returned what very well may have been a counterfeit watch, that they charged a premium for, And then tried to Lu refund 1/2- I found Jon Halberg at CJ Charles Jewelers.
Within two days, Jon found me the authentic watch, brand new. The watch had has been discontinued
from Cartier but Jon had the relationship and the connection and delivered. I received the watch today and it is beautiful.
Lesson learned and so grateful for this new relationship.

I had been looking at watches for years, and prior to purchasing, I had been in stores that weren t always good experiences. They weren t welcoming; let alone helpful, whereas CJ Charles was the complete opposite. Brandon was incredibly welcoming and provided superior customer service than any other watch boutique I d visited. I can t say enough about how attentive he was/is and the level of his expertise within the industry. He took the time to show me how to set the date, and take care of my watch in a way that exceeded expectations. Everyone else at CJ Charles including Giorgio has just been phenomenal to work with.

I am a huge watch fan and my wife and I recently went in to purchase a panerai and cartier during christmas. The service and attention to detail was excellent. Vahid and his team truly care about the customer experience and it is evident in all of their team members. I look forward to coming here many times more. Recently bought a pre owned pam292 which is now discontinued, two days after ownership dropped my new (to me) ceramic watch on ceramic tile and grenaded my bezel. I was freaked out and searched and searched and was pointed here. Belinda Ramos handled everything and was great. Sent me multiple shipping labels as my work schedule is very demanding finally was able to ship my brand new (to me) destroyed timepiece across country to some one I have never seen or met. Had them do full service, crystal and new bezel watch is beautiful and now I am afraid to wear it. At least I know it's good for another 5 years unless I drop it again! Thanks Belinda!

The best thing about being a CJ Charles customer is that you feel like the member of an exclusive club. They remember you and your interests and call you by name when you enter the store. They throw the best watch and jewelry-themed holiday parties that bring in experts and unique exhibits from all the top brands. And, the care they take with their customers is matched only by their knowledge. I am a watch fan. CJ Charles is the only store in San Diego County where everyone working at the store is a watch fan as well. Walk in, ask about an obscure watch, and they will know the watch, have a better than normal chance of getting one if it is currently in production, and if it is vintage, know where to get it for you. As for jewelry, I must mention my wife spent years looking for the perfect right hand diamond ring. She found it at CJ Charles.

Highly recommended! I arranged everything online with them as I ordered a second hand watch from Europe. They offered a nice relatively rare tuxedo dial Datejust on their website. When I was traveling in the US last month they sent it over by FedEx to my holiday address. Communication was always good and clear with quick replies and the price we agreed on was also very fair. Then when I received the watch I noticed straight away a small chip on the crystal edge quiet noticeable close to the Rolex crown. Although a second hand piece from 2005 can of course have its usual marks this bothered me a bit and I walked into a local watch shop in Vegas to get some info about what to do. They knew the people from CJ Charles and the guy immediately picked up the phone to discuss the issue. From thereon it all went super quick. Jonathan from CJ Charles offered straight away to fix the issue and replace the sapphire crystal. They FedExed it up and down for me to have it back several days later with a new sapphire crystal in it. 5-star service!

I have been a client at CJ Charles for nearly 7 years now. It's my go to place for Panerai (located next door at their Boutique), IWC, and now most recently Patek Philippe since they started carrying them a few years back. I have referred many friends and family members to the store, knowing Vahid and his staff work hard to make every experience the best possible. Also, behind their Panerai Boutique is a service center with two watchmakers which can be seen behind glass. Any time I ever had an issue with a watch, Belinda was able to have the issue fixed and shipped out to me in a short amount of time.

My experience with the La Jolla store each time I walk in their store, all their staffs are very professional handling their customers, whether you re walking in to purchase, walking in for watch repair or just window shopping. They always make you feel welcome and they don t pressure customers when your visiting They re very knowledgable with what they do. I had been visiting CJ jewelers for years now and their employees, particularly Belinda Ramos, provides exemplary customer service and I know the rest of the staff provides great customer service as well. Belinda works with you with your needs and always give professional recommendations when needed or when ask for it. She s willing to share or educate you with your purchase. It is clear to me that this will be the place I would recommend to my friends and families should they ask a reputable jeweler. Keep up the good work.....

Outstanding customer service. I ve taken my Cartier to other watch repair shops but after the expert repair service I received at CJ Charles, I will bring any jewelry here for repair/service. They also have an excellent selection of fine jewelry.
