Service sucks customer service sucks they say they ran diagnostics on car when I was leaving it still had same issue. They haven't called me on status of my car. Hard to get in touch with somebody over there. Reporting them to the bbb.

A very unprofessional experience. The type of service you would expect from an unauthorized auto dealer. Unless you are driving off the lot the same day DONT waste your time. They actually SOLD me a vehicle, sent the sales invoice to my bank, advised me to insure the car before I could pick it up, my banks sends them a check, they call me hours later (an hour before i was going to pick up the car) and says we sold your car but we have another vehicle similar to the one we sold you. Never in the history of buying cars have i experienced something so unprofessional.

Not only was he efficient, experienced, knowledgeable but he was truly personable. It was his personality that made this experience enjoyable as well as fulfilling.

Worst experience I ever had at a dealer. Sleazy salesman lied to my face. I told him just looking for price range while I was shopping around. He told me he would run a soft credit check and I asked him are you certain it's not hard check. Again, he said yes, it's a soft, and only hard check when sending to banks. So while he leaves, I get alert from credit karma that said there was a change to credit report and lo and behold, it said credit inquiry from Toyota. When I told him about what happened, he still claimed it was a soft check and didn't know why I got an alert. Even worse, he said because credit karma was free, you couldn't trust it and it didn't tell the full picture. Only after telling him that I got alert from 2 other credit monitoring sources at the same time, he said sorry and as far as he knew, it was a soft check until they send to banks. Then he still tried selling me car saying it was only 1 or 2 points anyway and is it really that big of a deal. In the end, I ended up going to 4 other dealers shopping around to get price ranges and test drives and only at Toyota did I have bad experience and have someone running credit to get price offer. In conclusion, it left a bad taste in mouth with the vibe the salesman gave me. I don't know if I will look at Toyota in future shopping or at least definitely not City World Toyota.

I went in expecting to purchase a leased vehicle, and ended up getting a financed car. I wasn't even considering financing the first car I saw, and did. Grace to god, I ran into a great car dealer named Fabian, who helped me every step of the way. He took the time to give me all my options, and wasn't very pushy. He took the time to explain how everything works, pick up phone calls on his own time, and even helped me set up the Bluetooth. It was definitely worth the hour drive it took me to get there, I left satisfied and happy. CitiWorld Toyota was a great help, and really recommend it to anyone looking to purchase a vehicle in the nearby future.

Came into the service center and I was the first customer. I was interviewed quickly and effectively by a service rep. Was in and out of the shop quickly ( less than 45 mins wait time) for my 75,000 mile service. City World Toyota has been a very confident asset in keeping my car at top performance.

After our Honda's transmission blew up on my wife and I on the highway earlier on in September, we knew the car wasn't the only thing that had went up into smokes. My wife and I live in an area where getting to the bus or train is longer to get to, than the actual public transportation ride itself. Our ability to commute to work, visit family, take our casual drives during our personal leisure, and simply purchasing groceries would now be unnecessarily difficult. Within days of looking and walking miles on miles to every car dealership possible in the Bronx, we were left unsatisfied. If it wasn't for my wife and I stumbling into Toyota in the Bronx this past October of 2020, we would have never gotten the chance to meet Alfred T. What we had thought to be an accident, walking in there wasn't just by coincidence. We were meant to be in there. We were meant for that Toyota Corolla '18. Alfred T. helped us beyond doubt and did not mind the two hour search my wife and I went through just to decide on a car. If you are looking for someone understanding and empathetic of what you can afford he is the man to go to. He leaves you feeling like a real person and not just another sale he has to make. Came to buy a car, got stung for not doing my research on the place, ended up wasting my whole day there, a known 'sales tactic' as well as getting no real attention throughout the day. We were waiting to leave for over an hour! Worked with Jimmy who's a great guy but sadly left out a lot of details on the Rav4 XLE Premium that I was buying. Also apparently they don't have any car mats in the place. Bought my car two weeks ago, without car mats! They should've came standard but according to them it's in short supply! So a week passes and they have the gal to give me mats from an older model! If I'm paying good money, I should get what I paid for, but these people have little to no regard for that. They will make you run around trying to deflect blame. A very good learning experience on my end on what a dealership should NOT be like.

I went in for a recall issue with my 2016 Prius. I was helped w/o appointment as a walk-in and assured my car was safe and up to standard afterwards. My only complaints are that (1) it took a while (>30min) for the associate to communicate with the "back of house" to see if they have the parts for the recall and (2) they didn't confirm if they had my correct contact information so I had to personally call the service center to see if they were done with my car. Turns out they were done with my car for a while (~1 hour) but they had the wrong phone number when they tried calling me.

Went for a used car. I missed to read few reviews thoroughly. There is indeed $1670 prep fee plus $570 documentation fee. And weird i saw a sales tax of 8.5% , not sure for which state it is. Do not go by the price in website.

I came in to City World Toyota with my parents to lease a car and we were not really informed about the process in doing so. Fabian Madera was there to help! He guided us through the process, really informed us about the responsibility we were taking and made this process really easy for us. We did not think we would walk out with much knowledge and a brand new car. But everything turned out so great! I highly recommend any one who is looking to buy/lease a car to make a trip up here!

very disappointed in learning we were sold a car with a defective car stereo! Which now im out 800.00!! I was told our warranty for the car was expired and I never doubted that it was! I have the Toyota Avalon for only 3yrs and paying my car note as agreed. My fustration is why should I pay for a defective part of my car and not have some type of help with the cost? I was willing to pay at least half and expected the dealership to meet with me half way. That didnt happen!! I was given an "apologetic" go blow off and that is not our problem solution! and please "MR.OWNER" save me the mumbo jumbo "Im sorry act"when responding back to this review!!! If you want to help give me a number where I can speak to you and youll be willing to show your customers some appreciation and willing to pay half for my Defective Car Stereo! I bought from your Lot!

Went here a while ago to look through for a new Car The Salespeople were helpful and Friendly and there was some toys for the little kids that they could play with. Was there for a couple of hours but it was worth it as we got our Brand New Car.

(Make sure you read this before you go) Beware of this place the sales man hear are very tricky the store manager too I buy a car from them none of the 4 tires on the car was good, I ask the sales guy if they could at least put 2 good tires on the front he said yes and when I went to pick up the car it still had on the run down tires on the car and it was a old 2014 Toyota Camry and wanted to sell it for 18,000 the car dealership by Fordham Toyota is a better place to go they told me the name for this place MAJOR DISASTERS, the manager for this place is of no help

I do not recommend this store to anyone.
I arrived at 12 p.m. and I left at 7 p.m., without a car, because I went for a toyota and they inform me that what they approved for me was a $ 18,000 cheverolet.
The manager would not let us go. the seller did not know what car it was that they were going to present me. a nightmare,
Sincerely. I will have to go buy a toyota directly to the house and not to an authorized dealer.
