Line for the waterslide is usually long, but worth it. Dont let anyone tell you you're too old to ride that slide. Dont let your dreams just be dreams. DO IT! Ride that slide! Get the most out of your $7 admission and enjoy all fifteen seconds before you go back into the pool and get back in that line. Not the best waterslide out there. However, I enjoy that there is one in such a small town as Laramie. Go Pokes!

Recently added a new weights section to the gym which is very nice. This is your best option for swimming in town as it features two year round indoor pools (one lap pool, one play pool with lazy river/slides), and one outdoor pool. Great for kids. They offer classes and activities as well and have an indoor track.

Great facilities and very nice people. We loved the pickleball.

There's a lot of cool classes that are happening at this place definitely worth checking out and seeing if there's something to eat add to your families education

The Rec Center is a great gym option for Laramie locals. The cost of membership is reasonable and for your money you gain access to a very clean facility with myriad equipment options. Make sure to ask if they have pricing deals, especially if you are a state or city employee.

Inexpensive day passes. Clean with pool hot tub etc.. very nice

We are retired & members. Great place to walk or run during winter. Excellent weight machines for older people.

Great place to go swim, the work out equipment is pretty good too. The only gripe that I have is how much they charge per use. If the could do a year plan or even month plan that would be much better than individual passes. Still, it is currently the best pool in Laramie.

I work here for the Parks in the summer and the Rec in the winter. Not impressed with the Rec Center especially for working. Parks is great always gets stuff done and i feel like i actually did something.

Simply amazing! Multiple pools, jacuzzi, steam, sauna, incredibly friendly staff. We are visiting our relatives and are from California, we have never seen such an amazing recreation club. Well done Laramie!

What a surprise! We were visiting my in-laws and my father in law has a membership here so I decided to go workout. The place was clean, tidy, safe and beautiful! I had to call my mother in law and asks her to bring my wife and my daughter. The pool is a water park! Come see for yourself. I will be back!

Laramie Rec Center should accept the Silver Sneakers Card that is available to retirees on medicare. Why don't you?

took my 3 year old today after promising her she could go swimming , we get there only to discover they dont take american express ,, kewl ok but its not posted so i had to remove my little girl screaming to goto ridleys atm and that was a joke .. in all a 9$ swimm costed me 25$ ,, we aint done so much of the childrens play zone was rusted and not maintenanced that i had to point out several broken and sharp objects

The pools are dirty with poop the staff are rude not friendly as well as Kevin Johnson being a racist. The cost of non residents,( they -visitors from out town pay more to enjoy activities when are already paying for food gas motel.etc.) I wouldn't give them a full star.

Great place for Laramie!! Wish it was built while I was still a kid

Pretty clean, lots of things to do on rainy days. There lifeguards are really up-tight with rules. Plenty of pools. But overall this is a great place to spend a day off.

Traveling with camper Oregon to Colorado. This was an awesome center. $4 shower. Extremely well kept and super friendly customer service. Highly recommend this place.

Nice community rec center. Needs more basketball courts.

We only used the swimming pool area, so I can't comment on the rest of the facility, but my kids loved the pool. The lazy river was a favorite. My mother thoroughly enjoyed the lap pool.

Was my first time at the rec center really enjoyed it thinking about getting a membership great facility up-to-date.

The recreation center is a incredible place. I got a membership while i was in school so I could swim in the morning. The pools are all really high quality, everything is extremely clean and the locker rooms are great. I hope Cheyenne gets a facility similar to this one because it is a real gem!

Very clean, a lot of equipment and in general nice facilities. I haven't taken any classes but they have a lot of them and they seem pretty popular. I've yet to find a time of day where it feels crowded. They offer discounts depending on where you work and everyone is real nice. Locker room facilities are always clean and well maintained.

A beautiful rec center in Laramie. Great place to do everything u want for u and family to be healthy and have fun. Very inexpensive re to other places like it and other fitness places in Laramie. Olympic pool. 2 other pools.

The workout area has nice equipment and doesn't seem to be too busy.

Great place for all ages. Pool, hot tub, steam rooms, basketball courts, cardio machines, Indoor track, weight room. They have great staff! Clean facility.

This rec center is top notch. Its clean with great facilities. They have a consciousness about privacy and they discourage gym goers to use their cell phones while working out. This is great. Also teenagers must be 16 years of age to work out alone. This is a great safety ethic. They have signs in the bathroom that read clean your hands before leaving the bathroom. They are very hygienic minded here and I love it. What you will love the most is its low entrance fee for $ 6.50 cents for adults plus their indoor and out door pools. This is the BEST community rec center I have sen worldwide!!!

I'm not from laramie I was there to watch my daughter play basketball, so I don't know how anything works as far as using the complex. But it's nice and clean and the staff was helpful.

Great place the only Bummer is the weights area. Limited on free weights, no free bench. Love the water slide n pool!

Wow! An amazing City-run fitness center that is worth every penny of the annual fee. I commend the staff and management of this fine workout facility.

This place is nice,clean, friendly and a perfect place for young and old. Just about everything you can imagine all climate controlled. Every town should have one of these.

Great grand daughter loves playing basketball with hey team mates

This is a nice quiet place to work out. They offer fitness classes but if you have a punch card they aren't included in the price. They have a small track but it's usually pretty empty. The weight room is small but decent. The pool is the real draw here. They also have a sauna by the pool which is nice.

Clean, Empowering, Variety

I stopped by here with some friends a couple of days before a wedding in Laramie. I only played pickle ball but did explore some of the other rooms with work out equipment. The place was clean and staff is quick to support it's patrons. $7 for a full day pass.

$12 for two of us to get in. Steam room was broken, and it has been broken my last two visits. As a last resort we went to the hot tub and they kicked us out at 7:30 and the hours are posted to be open until 8PM. Waste of time and money.

Full disclosure, my husband works here. It's a fitness centre, what can I say? I think the pools are great, the staff is nice. The fitness machines are newer and set up nicely, though there's sometimes a wait. There isn't any food options I've seen that interest me when I've been there. Even the Y back home has protein shakes and smoothies as well as a coffee machine that can make lattes. I haven't even seen bottled shakes like odwalla there.

Laramie Rec center is great! They have many different programs for all ages, fantastic lap swimming, kids pool, cardio machines, weight room for a city of this size. It is a great benefit of living in Laramie.

It was very nice. Lifeguards at every pool, outside seating or indoors.

The parks and rec staff do an AMAZING job with limited resources. Our rec center has all the big city amenities and our city parks are clean, green and comfortable.

Great staff, quality facilities, clean locker rooms

I love this place. Everything you need for amazing workouts. Super friendly people awesome basketball pickup games steam and dry sauna just don't like the fact that people get out out the sauna sweaty and get into the hot tub. That's the only flaw but otherwise amazing!

For me to take my 4 year old to shoot hoops for an hour they want 10 dollars ! What a joke ! The court was empty !

This is a great and affordable gym. You get a ton of membership benefits including pools and unlimited fitness classes. It's the top choice for Laramie.

Love coming here to swim, though the changing rooms always seem a little dirty. The new work out areas are great, the track is okay, wish it wasn't carpeted! Often there are little kids that run around without supervision.

Beautiful, well-maintained facility and reasonably priced for a day of physical fun. The steam room and recreational pool are excellent.
