City Garage Theatre Review

Tricky to find if you are not familiar with the area

City Garage is the kind of place you might not expect in this area of Los Angeles, but it has a lot to offer. It is surrounded by art galleries that caught my attention from the minutes I got to the area. Instead of a play, I attended a worskhop at the theatre. After the experience, I wonder what the experience might have been had I returned when they hosted a play. I will come again.

Nice place but you gotta walk across the street for parking. Overall I like the little place specially what big white mansion.

It's a really nice theater space. Productions are very well done. There is easy parking, and freeway access is very close. If you're a fan of avant-garde theater, this is the place to come.

Intimate European style theater always producing a classy and topical shows under the superb direction of Frederique Michel!

Fantastic space every seat has a good site line warm inviting good focus. this is an intimate theater that's not calling lease Mall. once you find out where exactly it is on the west side of bergamot station as close as you can get to the train tracks without actually being in a train then it's a great place to know about.

Cool place and lots of places in the vicinity, lots of art surrounding whole area, with bus and rail nearby. Restaurants, shops and nice respectable people. Always good to check out once in your life.

Great venue. Great talent Great production . Try it if you enjoy small gatherings of theatrics that have been carefully planned , well rehearsed and enthusiastically artfully presented. Nice evening . Cool area . Look around at the buildings , the murals on the sides of places and more to enjoy rhe night fully. Near metro station for easy trip without parking hassles

Small gallery but beautiful and the store has sweet needs

They have beautiful art in different art galleries that are separated yet all connected. It's worth paying a visit. They also have an amazing flower shop.

Cozy Theater in a fun Bungalow type atmosphere. Free parking. Fun crowd.

This collection of art galleries and theaters is a must go to destination if you were ever visiting Santa Monica it's a great way to spend the morning or an afternoon browsing through all of the galleries good time and in a nice neighborhood

Great sound system for listening to an extraorinary Jazz group that is renown in San Diego (and from the amount of jazz students in the audience, is also famous at The Berkely School of Jazz.)

I never been so don't know why I'm being asked this

The BERGMONT METRO STATION IS CLEAN... just need to get rid of the bums that litter the street with trash further down and inoperable cars and bikes....

This is a group of art galleries. Fun space overall.

I wish the buildings were connected.. like we can walk from one art room to another without having to walk outside.

Two blocks from Pantages theater. Clean, easy to find.

It was a really cool experience parking for free, and walking around galleries for local art. None of the sections were air conditioned but some of them were kept cooler with efficient fans. Some of the exhibits had small souvenirs like post cards or water with art labels on them. It was really cool seeing how different each exhibit was.

This place is chill. I had a catering even there! Elegantly built establishment.
