Service is amazing, food and cocktails are fantastic. My boyfriend and I can't pick anywhere else for our celebrations. The burger is very yummy. And the chop salad is fantastic. Really everything is very tasty.

Went for Happy Hour while visiting Scottsdale recently. Good Happy Hour Food and Drink selections. Our waitress raved about their House Salad - I wish I could remember the name of the salad. The salad was not on the HH menu. We we're tempted and ordered it to share. Oh my goodness....what a treat it was! Such a great collection of flavors in each bite. We dined out a good bit in Scottsdale and this salad was my favorite food.

Went there last night, sat at the bar. Great service and the food was delicious as well. I had the Barramundi and my friends had the smart chicken and the short ribs. We were all very happy with our dishes. Can't wait to try them out again and go up for a cocktail at their other bar.

Nice place well located in downtown Scottsdale. Limited food menu but good drink menu. Service was excellent (thanks Gary) but was very loud and noisy. We we're in early and the place was only a quarter full but it was so loud it was hard to have a conversation

Came here for dinner on a Monday night around 8:30pm. The place was still hopping and for a Monday night this speaks positively for us. We had the Union Jack IPA, the local Cartel pale ale, and the Konig Heffeweizen which I liked the most. The three of us shared the Chopped Salad which in hind sight we should've ordered another one as it is seriously delicious and so uniquely Southwest style. The duck burger with that egg on top was decadent with rich and moist duck meat. It's just wonderful.
Two Thumbs Up.

Ate here twice in three nights. The menu selections are unique, and provide an exploration into provocative pairings. For starters I had the field greens sans goat cheese on both visits. We also had the rosemary nuts and the bacon popcorn. The first night I had the short ribs, the second, the scallops. Both were amazing. Service was impeccable both times as well.

Heard good things about this establishment and was not disappointed. Upscale but inviting atmosphere. Attentive, knowledgeable wait staff. Food was superb starting with the flat bread appetizer. Dined with 3 friends and everyone raved about their entree. Have to check out happy hour!

It's a favorite. I love that there's no television. The atmosphere is like an old Public House offering handcrafted cocktails and unique fare. I love that the waitstaff dresses appropriately and professionally yet the atmosphere remains relaxed and friendly. this was the original the Gladly is on Camelback and 24th and also is worth visiting.

I was skeptical because the food was pricy a town with pretty good food for a fair price, but I was blown away. Everything was phenomenal! Get the bar food. Bacon popcorn was light and smoky without being greasy. Everything was so good!

Cool atmosphere, interesting house cocktails, and a colorful, eclectic menu. I've never seen a pork shank on a menu anywhere other than a fair. It was a $32 dish, but it was heavenly and briny and sweet. I'd would definately order it again. The desert was fine, but at $10 for what was effetively a moose cup, was a little underwhelming.

Great food, the pork belly is amazing as are the scallops and even the meatloaf is good here. The service is definitely top notch but everything does come at a premium cost; although the drinks seem to be poured on the heavy side which is always great.

Friendly service, food was great. Felt a little packed in against the wall forcing the server to have to reach , and the Mexican cookie was a little less than exciting imo... Kinda like a thick, slightly fluffy Oreo ... A little too dry to be enjoyed, but probably fantastic with a glass of milk :-/.

Went for happy hour on a Friday. Had the cheese fondue which came with crostini, slices of pear and smoked sausage. Delicious indeed. We also had the chicken wings which had a tangy dry rub. Perfectly cooked and satisfying. They have a decent selection of craft beer and some wines at happy hour prices. We had this scrumptious chocolate cake with raspberry cream drizzled with chocolate sauce. The cake was not a happy hour deal. But worth it! The bartenders were super busy but very attentive and engaging. I'll definitely be going back.

I forgot to make reservations before coming on a Friday. But the hostess was super nice and assigned a table for us. The waitress lady was attentive and provided excellent service. We ordered bacon popcorns and flat bread for starters. They were ok. Nothing exciting. I ordered short ribs for entree. The meat was too lean for my taste. Not bad but average. Obviously I saved room for dessert. Bread pudding and lemon pie. Well, that s the highlight of the evening. I enjoyed the desserts very much. The restaurant setting was nice but the noise level is extremely high. Make sure to raise an octave higher during conversation.

I like this place, they pour very good drinks and their appetizers are amazing. The food is amazing, the pork belly pastrami is MOUTH WATERING. The mac and cheese is good, the crab cakes are worth a try as well. For the main course, the short ribs are great, but I am a bigger fan of the scallops and the filet mignon. I can honestly say that there is nothing on this menu that has not been cooked to a superb flavor. To top it off, go for the flourless cake, or grab a to go desert in the Bacon Pecan Brittle. Definitely does not disappoint.

Recently visited this restaurant during a business trip, following a recommendation from a family member. Hands down the best restaurant I've visited in the Phoenix area. Our table each shared 3 different entrees. Everyone's meal was delicious. We shared a chopped salad and it was phenomenal. If you're in the area, I highly recommend this restaurant.

So let me set the scene. I am new to Scottsdale and it is my turn to book our annual Valentine's dinner. No room for error after 18 years of alternating the responsibility. My first idea - simply find the best rated restaurant in Scottsdale and make a reservation.

Not recommended for large parties. We tried hosting a large gathering for dinner and drinks of 30+ professionals. Everyone wanted to drink, but not everyone wanted to eat. With everyone there, they turned us away because we could not commit to 30 people eating there and stuck our organizer with a $500 bill. It appears to have been a miscommunication, but they handled very very poorly.

Man. The Restaurant Week menu here was bomb.

Man. The Restaurant Week menu here was bomb.

We both ordered the beet salad, which was a nice combo of sweet and earthy. Not at all what I expected, in a very good way.

Wife ordered the salmon special, which had a harissa puree and cucumber couscous. I ordered the ling cod, we both agreed this was the best of the two. The pickled papaya and hazelnuts/beurre blanc were such a unique combo that played really well together.

Dessert was also delish, though not really the reason to come here. The cocktails and entrees are where it's at.

Side note, the two cocktails we ordered we're awesone. I got a Manhattan, which is probably the first I've had with tobacco bitters and maple syrup (holy smokes, no pun intended). The lady got something with gin, citrus, cucumber, and elderflower liquer. Totally different than mine, but very tasty as well.

Overall, highly recommend either In Good Spirits restaurant, honestly. Elevated dishes with a unique twist and great service. Will be back!

I don t know. Don t get me wrong we really enjoyed our visit to CPH in Scottsdale but I can t agree with all of the other raving reviews. We had the scallops and red trout, both were good but not amazing. The bar makes terrific drinks and the environment is definitely energetic.

Everything we ordered was great. Service was great. I'd read some reviews that mentioned it was a loud room, but I didn't find it to be an issue (caveat: we went xmas eve).

I was skeptical about the chopped salad. Now I believe the hype - so good. My duck was cooked to perfection. The drinks were well mixed. I'd definitely return.

Really just moved to Phoenix and took my cousin to dinner as a "thank you" for putting me up as I look for a house. Citizen Public House did not disappoint. The food was great and drinks were creative. Plus the whole place had a great vibe of happy people. I see this in my regular rotation.

If you are in old town looking for a good happy hour or just a good cocktail, check this place out. I am a huge fan of the bar myself. The barrel aged craftsman would be my go to cocktail. Great flavor, citrus without the sweetness, and will get a good evening going.

Dinner wise, I have tried the chicken and waffles and chopped salad. Both will not disappoint.

Parking around back if Drinkwater is full up.
