Man. The Restaurant Week menu here was bomb.

Man. The Restaurant Week menu here was bomb.

We both ordered the beet salad, which was a nice combo of sweet and earthy. Not at all what I expected, in a very good way.

Wife ordered the salmon special, which had a harissa puree and cucumber couscous. I ordered the ling cod, we both agreed this was the best of the two. The pickled papaya and hazelnuts/beurre blanc were such a unique combo that played really well together.

Dessert was also delish, though not really the reason to come here. The cocktails and entrees are where it's at.

Side note, the two cocktails we ordered we're awesone. I got a Manhattan, which is probably the first I've had with tobacco bitters and maple syrup (holy smokes, no pun intended). The lady got something with gin, citrus, cucumber, and elderflower liquer. Totally different than mine, but very tasty as well.

Overall, highly recommend either In Good Spirits restaurant, honestly. Elevated dishes with a unique twist and great service. Will be back!
