There are plenty of things to see and do. The explanations are clear and easy for everyone to understand.
Entry fee is a bit expensive so come in 2 hours before it closes and save 50%. My dad was a space engineer for the CNES so l was already very familiar with what is inside. Check it out!
I did not like this day of Sunday, September 22 at the city of space ... the price is very excessive for the little thing to see ... fortunately I got a rate of 10 euros because it does not not worth more. Very nice day, not too crowded (early August), good infrastructure (great picnic rooms), almost no waiting for activities just to be 5 minutes early. A bit expensive but well worth it! Future astronauts are thrilled ;-)
Personally I found it quite expensive for what it is, there are only 3 or 4 activities dubbed into Spanish. Having been to several natural science museums at a much lower price if not free.
If you like space, there may be much more interesting activities in Toulouse.

The exhibition offers several animations and different ways to cultivate more of everything that happens above our heads and this, for a price really affordable for all! Games are installed at different stages of our visit, quizzes also. There is an indoor and outdoor course with 2 movie theaters, including a Geode way (this is the highlight of the show!). There is something for all tastes, all curiosities, and all ages! Flat down all the same on quizzes, games and interactions: too little explanation on the instructions for use, or even nonexistent! it's a shame, because it can really help to conclude everything we learn! )
Ideal to go with children and those who are not. Very didactic The 3D documentaries are wonderful, we saw one of Northern Lights in Canada. Interactive experiences such as walking on the moon. We recommend it
This city is paid entry. The price is indeed a bit expensive but it must be said that discovery and learning is priceless when you have children ... and yes the imax is closed but there is the planetarium, the airfield and all the other activities. We could see the sun through the telescope (yes it is depending on the weather) touch a meteorite present the weather make the simulator plane tractor boat (presentation of the GPS) sit in soyouz visit the MIR station ... go to the final at quiz exploring the intercultural space .... beautiful day too just to do everything .. even the restaurant is good ... well calculated because there are opening hours of the various workshops .... children 11 and 6 years old we love you!
Unmissable place to learn or discover the universe the planetarium is fantastic
The place is very big, but visiting it in a day is still possible. The decorations are very successful, as well as the park. The projected documentaries are quite instructive, especially for children, as is the main museum. There are many attractions for all ages. The replicas of the different rockets and modules are very impressive, especially those that can be visited. Finally, the parking is very big and easy to access. The only flaw is that it is not given, and that if you have a good culture on the space you will not learn much, even if the visit of the modules remains quite fun.

I was shocked that there are no bins for sorting waste! The films presented tell us about global warming and pollution, but the park is not able to implement the minimum in waste management / reduction.
One of the restaurants offers a really inedible vegetarian burger.

as for the animations it is frankly very "cheap", jumps of kids attached to rubber bands, a turnstile, water bombs, a dome-shaped building which shelters ... an idiotic quiz, a training in the life of astronaut with scratches, a film in the planetarium in computer-generated images (not seen the film Imax), no real image of the ground of the moon or of March, honestly the city of sciences or the palace of discovery in the same genre are much better
I loved the planetarium and warmly congratulate those who directed the screenplay to captivate novices and amateurs. An extraordinary journey of rare quality that will leave a memorable trace for a long time. I took my 4 year old son who, without understanding everything, grasped notions. Congratulations for this wonderful job!

Coming to Toulouse specifically for that, we were quite disappointed.

The situation of the covid-19 ruined our visit. Indeed, the respect of sanitary measures is really respected to the letter, and the places very often cleaned. Gel is available everywhere. However the wearing of the mandatory mask even in the very large and airy garden side where we met almost no one, because of the calm period, is really a shame. We would have liked more explanations on the exhib side which visiting alone (without guide) is not always easy to understand and maybe too long.

Its a very educational place to visit. You can see all the achievement of man in their pursuit to space. It's not far from the city center and it has a good view surround it
From the start, they shown the pioneers and their attempt to describe the space and their mistery. The rockets used by ESA and their development. They also viewed the progress to space by NASA and MIR.
The next place shown the moon landing. Including the lunar rover replica and other unmanned rover replica landed in other planet
The Russian space station is a nice site to see. We could see the whole pods where cosmonots doing their daily activities and experiments in space
The gift shop is located in the entrance, and exit of the place. So you won't miss the chance to buy some space souvenir from this place

Home LAMENTABLE HANDICAP Although traveling in an electric wheelchair the person at the counter refused me to apply the reduced rate for people with disabilities. A manager intervened to demand that I provide an orange card proving my disability (a type of card that is no longer issued since 2017) in the end I was entitled exceptionally to a discount of 3 on 24.5 euros after losing my time half an hour at the entrance. It is a wonder if I travel in an electric wheelchair for pleasure or to get a ridiculous reduction on the price of the entrance?
Prefer all other visits to Toulouse and France or no one asks you to justify your handicap by any card and where the welcome is warm and free of charge including for the guide.
Bof disappointed a lot but nothing deep. Good can be for young children but for teens who know a minimum it is very fair. The Mir station is the same as at Europa Park, the film about the Aurora Borealis is boring and the film Imax is dated.
In short, by the fireworks and that it animations is blah.
Here you know a minimum about the space going your way. And look at the Arte documents you won't waste your time

Nice space museum with possibilities to enter a replica of the MIR station and sit in a Soyuz capsule. They have a good exhibition in the main building. The problem is the language, in the Terradome there is only one session in Spanish and another in English throughout the day, the rest in French. In the Planetarium, the film translated but later they teach you constellations only in French. This is something that only happens in France (excluding Paris).

The films are very interesting and well made. There is a de facto effort for the exhibitions and the interactive modules that compose them.
Outdoor activities are reduced and have aged a bit.
But what is really really missed is the SNACK! It is outrageous to offer such food. Everything is bad, we spit out, there is nothing to keep. And the place is dirty and smells of kindergarten. Do not set foot in it, you risk putting the rest of your day at risk.
