Difficult to make a single description, although I expected more interdisciplinarity in biomedical engineering, the means and buildings have always been up to par, like its staff. One more positive note for having also offered me decent job opportunities as a collaborator but a negative one for some small defects, however present.

Building similar to the others of the Polytechnic. The classrooms of building 3 are well organized and equipped with fairly new chairs and desks. Two elevators available to go up to the first and second floors. The four classrooms on the third floor have large tables suitable for reviewing projects.

Closed number for everything, even for less frequented courses. A slap in the tax payer, who has to pay for the gentlemen but cannot enroll if he is not lucky enough to become part of that select group of elected officials.
Furthermore, for the exterior, the small library costs 5 per day. In part it is understandable to prevent it from filling up with wasters, but the other Milanese state universities (and others) are more open to the approach.
If the one must be something pure elite, that if the students pay, not the citizens.

As a building that has always been intriguing, beautiful at night for the new lighting, it was certain that they could try a little to create adequate lighting also for the university buildings on the side and for the whole surrounding area connected three, that for the park in front and not only for the facade.

Main university campus.

Main university campus.
Very pleasant architectural complex,
Very nice view especially at night, the shops and pickup trucks around the square offer different types of food.
Not only for the study but also for a walk the square is very pleasant.

Several teachers who are not teaching oriented and interested in their own profit through private companies linked to their position in the university. Some of which have patented their students' thesis, essays and examination papers without dividing either the merit or the proceeds.
Few are those who have really done serious training maintaining the right taxation in the courses held and in the examination tests without making them exam farce.

5 years of construction engineering behind.

5 years of construction engineering behind.
Average judgment motivated by the presence of both great excellence and strong inefficiencies.

Regardless of the difficulty, the propensity and the personal commitment, the degree of preparation that a course gave me was also a function of the professor I found myself in front of.

On the one hand I was lucky enough to attend courses for people trained as technicians and good as teachers: the cultural baggage acquired by their lessons is proving to be the determining one for my insertion into the world of work.

On the other hand it has been very annoying for me to have spent hours and money to follow the courses of teachers who are incapable as such, regardless of the curriculum they boast.
Teachers sometimes so excited by themselves that they waste time telling about their "adventures" instead of teaching. Or dedicated to motivational speeches to promote an alleged "elite" of the Italian engineer, forgetting that professionalism is not proportional to the degree.
I also attended courses by lazy teachers who presented themselves in the classroom without a program, without lessons ... and they told of how and why without arguing, concluding, without a real logic.
And finally, I took lessons from teachers who took their course together by badly stacking topics already covered in much more detail in other more consolidated courses.

Nice place, interesting structures, some even well finished, today I saw the one that will be inaugurated tomorrow at 17 and it is beautiful even if some of it is finished, beautiful well-kept green areas.
However, the Politecnico Leonardo di Milano has one flaw, the secretariat is unreachable, they do not answer the phone, chat or even e-mails,
So dear guys if you intend to go to the Politecnico, arm yourself with holy patience, overcome the bureaucratic obstacle course and try to know everything well, because it is likely that if you try to contact them you will succeed next year.
The teachers are truly excellent teachers.

I have dealt twice with the secretariat of the Polytechnic University of Milan: the first time a very kind lady explained to me in detail what I had to do, answering exhaustively the questions I asked her. (And there 5 stars)
The second time (this morning 28.08.19) a gentleman with a southern accent replied in a very arrogant and annoyed way that if I needed anything the only way was to chat online without even hearing what I needed.
The lack of interest that is perceived is truly shameful ...

The Career Service office of the Politecnico di Mi...

The Career Service office of the Politecnico di Milano managed by Federico Colombo is a poorly managed and disorganized office. The work environment is bleak and provincial. There are frequent acts of bad management due to the lack of competence, disorganization and lack of interest and professionalism in what is being done. This is to the detriment of students and companies and, consequently, to the detriment of the community and the country. The lack of skills and disorganization is dictated by the way in which the selection of personnel and the promotion of employees takes place, in the total absence of transparency and meritocracy. Presence of sugary conkorsi. Ivan Ciceri, Federico Colombo and Pierfranco entered with the zukkerato competition. There are also parasites (paid for by Italians) who are unwilling to work and collaborate but are ready to row against to stop those who work more than them. The Rector's delegate for Placement, Taisch, is seen very little but at the same time carries on private businesses. This is not the best side of the supervision and management of the University's Placement activities.

The University that boasts and does not want to work .. it can never be excellence!

We also point out the following question: MISLEADING COMMUNICATIONS!

The company UNIVERSUM COMMUNICATIONS AB, based in Stockholm, annually conducts free market surveys in Italian universities on the career expectations and preferences of university students as well as on their university experience, evaluating it in many aspects. Surveys that are then given to the press as they draw up rankings on the most attractive companies as employers and marketed to businesses.

At the end of 2019 UNIVERSUM COMMUNICATIONS AB hires this MARIA GIOVANNA SESSA into its workforce, who at the same time holds a PhD (probably unpaid) at Sant'Anna Pisa and is also Teaching Assistant at the University of Siena. Between September and December Maria Giovanna Sessa works for this company.

In light of this, Universum's surveys appear to lack independence in so far as the valued is also the valuer and vice versa. In addition, the presence of Maria Giovanna Sessa in the ranks of the company in question represents an act of professional incorrectness in terms of competition and therefore towards the operators of the sector who compete with Universum Communications for the same market shares.

For fairness to the stakeholders, public opinion and therefore healthy competition in the sector, the University system and therefore the Politecnico di Milano are invited to suspend the Universum Survey for future editions as well as prevent the marketing of data 2018/2019 and 2019/2020.

The Politecnico di Milano is well aware of these surveys because it is theoretically through the Placement Offices that the link of the Universum Communications AB websurvey Career Test is sent to students for compilation. In addition, it hosted workshops on this subject at MIP in September 2016.

The founder of Universum Communications AB is also the founder of UBI GLOBAL surveys and rankings on the world of University incubators. The surveys and rankings in question were also in this case NOT independent with the Politecnico di Milano and Politecnico di Torino involved in the advisory board and in the development of the methodology. The two universities were ranked 3rd and 1st in the world. The surveys are clearly not independent and therefore not authoritative and due to the lack of independence from the university system given the conduct of other surveys and the presence in the scientific advisory board and therefore in the development of the methodology of people attributable to the Politecnico di Milano. The Politecnico di Milano - Polihub in public communications has declared them in many cases as Independent Investigations. Which is not true.

What can I tell you? the Politecnico di Milano is a guarantee, if you want to invest in your future, at any age. You will encounter many difficulties in your academic career (or at least, so it was for me - degree and master's degree in engineering), but also many beautiful people (teachers and students).

The building complex has undergone several changes. Much greener just behind the main entrance, which is the Rectorate, while on the other side, in the Architettura area, all the spaces are built and it is a bit stifling. The whole complex has been restored and modernized where possible.

It was my second home, I spent about 10 years in this place having also done a research doctorate. High level scientific training, available teachers and great support to the student. At least that was my experience. Thanks polimi!

How do you criticize the Politecnico di Milano? All those who have studied in these classrooms (for real and not pretending) have come out with a human and professional profile of a level above the average.
The structure is beautiful both inside and outside, there are small mishaps from time to time, but in essence they are things that will happen to you everywhere and everywhere in life.
Being in this area offers the opportunity to feel like children of Milan for a good time and when you go away what's left is only nostalgia for years, times and places that won't come back.

Extraordinary academic experience. I personally attended the architecture design course and now I decided to continue with the master's degree. There is a historical atmosphere that spreads everywhere. Symbol of Italian research and training that is now being renewed also in architecture thanks to the project by Renzo Piano and his team!

This is a top university in Italy, although there is still a big gap between the United States and the United States. However, in the case of the improved economic environment in Italy, there is great potential for scientific research. Academic attitudes, teachers and the campus environment are very good universities.

One stimulating multicultural environment located in a beautiful and impressive structure colored by green areas and embellished with architectural design details, all a stone's throw from the historic center of Milan.
Even just walking among the buildings of the complex one perceives how fidelity to tradition is based on innovation: two fundamental characteristics of this scientific pole.
Easily accessible by metro (Piola stop), tram, and even bike-sharing.

Excellent Italian university. Degree courses in Engineering and Architecture and Design. There are many specializations to choose from both for the three-year degree and for the master's or specialist. PhD. Researcher. Online courses. Courses in English. Competent, famous teachers with known and consulted publications. Classrooms, laboratories, libraries, study and meeting places. Always evolving both in terms of lessons, methodologies and equipment.

Definitely a high-level university, which puts a strain on students (perhaps even too much). It provides a very theoretical and less practical preparation, but which is also enviable abroad. Well-equipped but not as comfortable classrooms and teaching spaces, especially some old wooden classrooms. Despite everything, it is among the best Italian and European universities. Source: years of study.
