Well laid out, game floors are a good enough atmosphere for even people who don't want to gamble, drink or smoke. Service was good for a casino. Arcade was good fun.
Best hotel we have stayed at so far on our west coast trip! Very affordable (60 for 2 queens ), clean, and recently upgraded (50 million upgrades to entire facility last year). Great coupons to play arcade games with the kids in their recently renovated circus showroom. Free circus acts every thirty minutes. Very nice.
Mostly just pass through while going to an event dowtown, but the people are always friendly.
We went into circus circus to watch the midway shows. The new stage is magnificent and gives a much more modern feet to the whole area. The show was as fun as always, though short (about five minutes). Still, for a free show it was a ton of fun and I'd go again in a minute.
Took the kids, to see the circus acts, had a ball of fun
Pretty nice, but there was a pretty long wait for food.
Very family friendly. Great for the young and young at heart!
Definitely suggest going on an off day. It's less crowded. Just keep in mind that some restaurants are closed on Wednesday and Thursday.
I googled Panda Express and ended up at Circus Circus. The food at Panda Express is always fresh due to there always busy. When I arrived I was the only one there and thought maybe I should go somewhere else. I ordered anyway since I invested a lot of energy getting there......When I arrived home with my half chowmein half fried rice, three entrees, fortune cookie and chop sticks. I was surprised how good my food was. Great job Panda Express. I'll be back.
Very clean hotel. Loved the massive arcades and the variety of restaurants. Only complaint is that they gave us 3 sets of towels when there was four of us. Staff helped us out and were very nice.
The renovated rooms at Circus Circus are great. The staff is very friendly. North Tower seems to be better off the two towers. If you have electric vehicle, they do have charging stations. The free circus shows are special treat for kids in the family. This casino is directly connected with the Silver Legacy.
The room is very nice. Large TV in the room broadcasting in HD. Lots of kids here, on the weekend especially. The staff is helpful and nice. Security is plentiful and I feel safe here. They have free shows daily downstairs in the "big top." I don't understand why one would bring kids to a casino hotel, maybe those shows and games are what draws them here.
It was really easy to find where to park and register, finding our room wasn't difficult either. The room itself was pretty nice, the only real issue with it was the noise sometimes (both from the current ongoing construction and other guests). The only real complaint is all the coupons in the book they gave us upon check-in were expired.
Love their remodel of the arcade! This is a great place to take your kids. A little more expensive then they used to be but what isn't. There is a bar right next to the arcade, so you can get a treat for your self while you're treating your babies!
I will always love Circus Circus ever since I was a kid playing their arcade games and being able to watch their circus acts. But I will say even though I rated the property a 5 star as a Pai gow poker game player I would rate it a 1 star... Why would you get rid of all your table games ??? If I didnt play pai gow I went to craps. I asked a drink waitress after the shock of no table games where are the table games? Her response this company I work for doesn't want our property to be fun for the players. If you are trying to get machines as your sole source of income so you dont have to pay dealers pit boss employees that's very disappointing.
I was impressed, last time I was there it was dirty and old. Looks a lot nicer
This is more of a review for the Habit Burger Grill in the Circus Circus food court. The Habit Grill serves a wide variety of hamburgers and other sandwiches that can satisfy an entire family. The Habit Burger Grill is 1 of the 3 restaurants that replace the old Circus Circus buffet. The prices are reasonable as would be expected from a food venue inside a casino. There is also Piezetta (made to order quick pizza) and Panda Express if you still can't get the entire family to agree. (And a bar if you're at the point where you don't care if the family can agree on a meal venue.) Add the experience of the circus acts and midway gaming not far away and your smaller children will have a fun memory of something other than mom and dad drinking and gambling some of their college tuition...
Rooms reasonable. Staff excellent. Rooms are quiet and gave good beds.
Very fun place, kid friendly, live music on weekends, waitresses make rounds regularly, staff is friendly, food court, everything for everyone in the family.
Have stayed here 3 times. The rooms are decent size. Idk I love the place, brings childhood memories. Won so many stuffed unicorns I love them.
Good place to spend in a hot summer night but streets smell like piss , they should pressure wash the streets.
This is a local hotel casino. They offer lots of circus acts and the name. Just keeps young children entertained they also have a great arcade for kids. And of course a great Casino for adults
Marked up: price, comfort, decent quality.
Marked down: AC, quality, parking, fees.
We caught a room service attendant RICARDO watching porn on his phone with his trolly in the lift one night.
Do I feel comfortable knowing that a creepy employee working there doing room service at nights? You bet I don t! This is supposed to be a family friendly hotel.
We took our yoth group there some had never been to Nevada. They watched 2 shows thought they were fantastic. Had a lot of fun in the game area. And we will be back.
Took the granddaughter to circus circus and she had a ball. Spent the night close by and had breakfast the next morning. All in all a great place to visit especially for kids
Fun times with the kids. And they have a casino for the adults.
This place will never get old to anyone I think. A place where kids and adults can feel young at heart
Went to the entertainment center. Was very fun with lots to do.
Went there to take the kids to have some fun after playing in the snow. Location was great since its next to the highway. Just wish there was more games for the younger kids to play like toddlers.
Other than it being a little bit hot at the reception area and having to wait for half an hour to check in everything else was good. The room was well stocked. Room service was good. There is a lot of fun places for kids as well for the adults. Sometimes it as a little crowded and chaotic but the overall experience was good.
Clean and sterile. Can't wait for Reno to get back to normal.
We when to the arcade and it was very fun. We got to see there shows!
Gone to the dumps inspite of renovations. Games are old and tight. Staff ineffective and rude.
Our room looked like someone was in it. TV was on, one of the beds were not made, ground needed to be vacuumed, toiletries were used, 2 towels were used, soap was used on counter. It was as if no one cleaned the room before they checked us in and gave us our key cards. We called them up and said a maid will stop by. We waited 2 hours and still no one to clean the room. We called again and finally someone came and they told us to clean our own room and gave us 2 towels and 2 sheets and left. By far the most worst experience we had and very disrespectful. Reason for 2 instead of 1 star is for the resteraunts. Disgusted!!!
So this place is really just a slot parlor. No table games. But awesome arcade upstairs and delicious burger spot.
Disappointed there's nothing there any more. The shows were disapointing. There's no good food. Or buffets. Very disappointed.
Didn t gamble but the rooms were horrible. Smelled like febreeze and smoke. View was good. No room service was available when I went. Whatever it s ok
Better than I was told and thought. The room was very comfortable.
Still the same dirty may casino as it was back in the 90's the only thing that makes up for the yucky buffet is the food court.
A little expensive, but great. Fun atmosphere and really exciting. Circus show was a little underwhelming, but the games and prizes were pretty cool.
Haven't even gotten to our room yet. Horrible hotel. No signs directing where to park or to check in, then they send you two blocks away. Didn't tell us about the additional deposit when reserving our room & valets are rude & slow. Never coming here again. So disappointed & haven't even seen our room yet.
I only visited the games area. There is a good carnival style play area for kids above the casino section. On top of the carnival area there is some small restaurants and a small arcade. Casino area is quite typical to the rest of the casinos in the Reno.
Oh man this place was fun, lots to do, great for just roaming around. Drinks, drinks, and more drinks lead to even more fun. They have a whole section for underage kids with games and entertainment. Also kinda fun for the young at heart. Or if you're wasted and wanna play the claw game. It was fun try it sometime.
It was very quiet. I was there in the early morning but I did not really recognize it as I did from years ago. They didnt have any rainforest or Amazon jungle type slots it was mostly all video poker and some other type games. They did have a cool large screen blackjack video game. Probably better in the evening time.
This review is for the breakfast restaurant. I asked if I could order to go and they said no that wasn't allowed at this time so I opted to sit in the restaurant. It took ten minutes to get greeted by my server despite ample staff and an empty restaurant. This made my to go request more frustrating. Once greeted I put in my order immediately and things moved along more quickly. My server was very nice despite. Food was standard, classic diner breakfast which is what I came for.
Very fun and exciting place to go with friends and family. Multiple restaurants and games.
I think this is the only place in Reno where kids of all ages can enjoy. Its like a carnival with lot of games to play. They also have free circus show every thirty minutes.
great for kids, they have those games to test your skills to win stuffed animals. also they have free circus acts every 30 minutes (last about 15 minutes), not 24/7 but limited hours. check the schedule on the wall there
Probably my favorite Casino in Reno.. they are generous with the room comps with a few points built on your players card. Their Buffet for brunch on the weekends is so good! Not to mention all the circus stuff and arcades for the kids...
If you don't have enough points built up on your card they still are a bargain for a room and two rooms are very nice with very comfortable beds and lovely views
The room were nice and clean. But no jetted tub, no micro wave and no free breakfast
I greatly enjoyed my stay at the Circus Circus Reno. The hotel rooms were very spacious and cozy. The staff were very friendly and willing to help. The hotel is located in the center of town so there are lots of food and fun options. It was an overall great experience
Good place to take the kids. They love it every time we go here
Nicely remodelled, clean. Good stay for the money. Not expensive.
Fun idea, not impressed. Brought kids to Arcade area weekend early evening to find half the place closed and fenced off, hardly a soul in sight, no greeter or attendance service around. Only saw a couple people who looked like they might work there but otherwise engaged to recognize clueless customers seeking services. Strange and very disappointed that most games we really wanted to play were those on the closed other side. Sucked pretty much so after dropping a couple $ dollars attempting to have fun we lost interest pretty quick and left. Glad THAT wasn't our only plan for the night, would have wasted a trip downtown.
Hotel itself is perfectly adequate, my room was advertised as recently remodeled and I believe it. I think I'm not the intended market, there are no table games but its easy enough to access the other connected casinos.
The hotel was a little dated but had fun amenities like arcades and video games. There were also fun little shows that would happen every few hours. You can find the schedule at the near the back break room area.overall a good experience.
Fun casino for the whole family. Good food. The Habit Burger Grill is delicious and will make you question why you used to like In n Out. Great times with children in the Midway and the circus shows are so much fun. Clean, updated rooms at a fantastic price. Free parking.
I like how they have connected the three casinos. Have stayed at circus circus, nice arcade with really cool games. Full size interactive games. Casino is laid back, cashiers are friendly, drinks are fast.
Service was good slots are very tight not paying at all.
I went into Circus Circus to grab some Habit Burger. The service was very nice. The whole place is clean. I didn't try the food myself because it was a Postmates run.
They could have set up the casino better with more games
This casino very run down, not maintained well, a lot of out of order machines, not comfortable in gaming area. Would not recommend staying over especially with family. Alot of vagrant people about. Las Vegas Circus Circus Casino 100% nicer. This property needs a complete makeover.
An older casino however it's nice not unlike the other casinos on the strip. You can find good food without leaving the premises. The only downer. The casinos are not smokeless. Ugh!
Went to tour our family member from Canada to the Midway. Games were only limited as half of the area was closed off. My favorite games was not available due to being closed off. It's was surprising that circus acts was still going on, so that was a plus. Wished the employees were more enthusiastic about the games. There was one gentleman who was in charge of the horse race and made it so enjoyable during the game. (This was around 8pm ish on 11/29/17) Wished we got his name as his effort and enthusiastic made the experience a plus and a memorable one for our family.
This property is so much better than Vegas property.....nice room and big TV
Love it here... I never want to leave I enjoy everything the food, games, prizes, games, and the midway circus acts. I have sooo much fun with my family always!
Or room in the Circus Circus was very nice. It seems to have been renovated very recently. Everything was comfortable and well appointed. The only down side to it was that it feels like a pretty far walk from the center of action within the three connected casinos.
Great Food and service at Cafe Central. Family friendly games and entertainment, too.
Very nice casino and it has entertainment for the kids. Daily show for kids as well
Fun place but don't walk alone outside after 6. I was almost assaulted there.
Mainly because I have not been able to get there yet and it has been changed since 2015 a lot
Great for family fun & when the kids are done playing the grown ups can play! There are several casinos tied together you can walk from one to another. Plus you can enjoy the restaurants & bars between.
Comfortable rooms, friendly helpful full service staff, easy valet, quick bell desk, reservations are very easy and a fair deal. Late check out was allowed. They found my debit card and had it at lost and found. Nice tub, easy walk around downtown Reno. I felt safe in room halls and areas. Enjoyable!
This the place where you must go with kids. Lots of game and a free circus show is great.
Awesome hotel. Lots of fun. It's a casino, circus, arcade, bars, restaurants...everything! Great for the price too. Racquel made check-in easy and friendly! Great place!
Great place for a family. Very affordable rooms and many forms of entertainment for all the everyone. It is always our stop when we travel back and forth from Oregon to New Mexico.
Well maintained. Remodeled with great places for adults and children to relax, dine and play. Fun and trending.
All things considered this is a good hotel. Safe and friendly. The rooms are clean and service is up to standards.
Payouts are horrible. After starting with $250 wagering up and down $1800 and paying for a stay in their hotel I didn't so much as get a meal comp. Avoid this place if you like to win. Otherwise just flush your money down a toilet, you will feel better about it.
Go here for the arcade, otherwise the walk to get back to your room can be too long when you're carrying bags and have kids. Also the elevators always seemed to be crowded. The room was nice with a great view of the city though!
Fun time for my grandkids, daughter and ourselves. Our rooms were comfortable and clean.
The staff was very friendly and my kids had more fun then they could handle. I wasn't too stoked on meal options in the hotel, but the service at the restaurant we went to fantastic. The only reason I give this 4 stars is due to the construction going on that I wished they would have mentioned when we booked the room. All around it was pretty decent.
