This store has come a long way since Hurricane Katrina. I strongly support this business.

Historic, locally owned, community based grocery store and more. Great meats, really good prepared meals. Pay your bills here, play the lotto, buy a phone or a ring... Not sure if they still sell school uniforms.
Yes, they are periodically out of certain things. With floods and vandalism they have had a rough time of it these past few years. But they keep coming back, stronger. If that ain't New Orleans I don't know what is.
Family-owned, clean, decent prices and right in the neighborhood. It doesn't get any better than that!
The store manager could be a little more friendly he seems to be pretty rude but I found what I needed in the store
Good stuff, every one is willing to help. Well Done
Its official Cicrle food store is completely close for good...
That's sad to hear
great place to shop it's different, better, bigger from Katrina I wish they still had they uniform shop. Because these places out here don't know nothing about uniform shop like Circle Food Store do.
Very cheap prices .. Nice selection of food.. Plus local food here as well.. One stop shop. Pay Bills here make your groceries. And they even have a lil cafe here... employees are very nice and i never seen any of them ever have a bad attitude, even the young employees seem to be very respectable.. historic place
Circle food store has been the store to go to since I was a child.
After the storm , it's took a while but is now reopened.
I no longer live in the area but I will gladly travel to see the new circle food store and to see how fresh and clean it is now, and how updated it has become.
I can't wait to get my fresh produce from a place I know that always have good deals.
Circle Food Store supplies the people in that community. I grew up right across the street and before Hurricane Katrina circle food store was where we made groceries, got medicine from the pharmacy, paid bills, got hair products even our school clothes. They always had the specials on the bell peppers during holidays. Easter baskets lined up outside the store. Even live chicks. My aunt sold suppers all my life. My cousin and I would walk and deliver plates to employees there. My grandmother still shops here. People without transportation are given access to necessary foods, products and services as well as jobs. Circle Food Store is more than an ordinary grocery store for the many. It is historical to this community and gives many memories.
I was so glad when this New Orleans landmark reopened. It brought back some great memories of my childhood. Speaking of, some of the bread looked like it might have been there when I was a child.
They have some local stuff that's hard to find elsewhere. Prices could be better.
Since the renovation of this place for 05' Katrina, the building is nicely done, but the prices & quality of goods has "fallen off".
Okay. So, what I like about Circle Food Store is that it's the only Black owned market in a predominately black city. They have all the necessary foods you need to make an amazing breakfast, lunch and dinner. They have a great selection of baked goods as well.
Great place for picking up grocery ,beer, hot fast food kitchen ECT...........
Five Stars if you love Old New Orleans, meat looked fresh and great butchering, if your only comfy in corporate, chain stores not the place for you.
I was Happy to visit the Circle Store.. People please go there n Shop....
Good prices on some items and friendly and helpful people
It was our first time in there since the renovations& everyone was friendly and the seafood was fresh... No complaints here. We'll be back!
Great location! There's a large beer and meat selections. Unfortunately the veggies section isn't as large.
Fresh meats, and veggies and most of all black owned success
Beer prices are great. People and food selection are not.
The prices is ridiculous it was never like that I will never shop there again Walmart save a lot is reasonable
I enjoy our neighborhood store they have fresh fruits and vegetables and good meat
The employees were super friendly and helpful, I had a great experience with them. Although I was wishing they were all better about keeping their masks on properly. The selection is a little weird, as is the organization/setup. A lot of things were really low on stock, and some stuff seemed way overstocked (fruits and veggies rotting, etc). Prices were reasonable, on par with other grocery stores. I liked the local farm stand in the produce section even though it was a little odd. All in all an okay experience but I definitely wouldn t make this my go-to grocery.
This is the worst store manager is so disrespectful and the owner is to
A nice, convenient, and simple neighborhood grocery store.
Good place to work people just need to work together
This store is Always clean and the cashiers and associates are very hospitable and friendly. I love that!
Front end managers need further training in signage and especially customer relations.
The snap program and circle foods matchbprogram is either a scam or the manager has no clue what the heck she is talking about. You buy $10 in produce and you are suppose to receive two $5 match coupons for future use. I ve done it many times. Today I was informed it was a lottery style if the receipt printer spits it out you get it. If not you are it out of luck!
Local people try hard to please
Good all around supply.price reasonable
Ridiculously overpriced but is to be expected so close to Bourbon St....
Its a pleasure to shop here sometimes. The prices is a bit much.
Look like they NEED a good company take over they run out a lot stuff it look like nedd close down
Worst customer service rang up item wrong price and didn't know how to fix it 5 workers and finally owner came out and snatched item said he wouldnt sell it instead of fixing problem Avoid shopping here quality is terrible on top of that
It's a place that's have worker's who treat you with respect.my number 1 food store.
The store was clean and the staff friendly. The selection and pricing were what I expected to find. There is no reason I wouldn't go back.
Their bathroom is alwayz out of service. They don't do cash back. And their isn't many food items to choose from
Solid grocery store. I enjoy the music and atmosphere. Prices are great.
Great Great prices selections and customer service Really good Produce
Bad ass music, friendly cashiers and good prices. Stay open later...
Love this place, great neighborhood store that's has history and is locally owned. Nice staff.
Family owned community based little grocery. Selection varies and is sometimes sparse. Produce is expensive except green peppers. They are always on sale. Great for gumbo!
Friendly staff and security; l like the program they have for people on EBT and SSI. They try very hard to help the community
They didnt a lot in stock because of the flooding so they gave me a T-shirt. Everybody is super nice.
Quality produce, fair prices, friendly staff and well stocked!
Love this store, it is locally owned and operated and the owner is very nice.
