Excellent food and wine, highly professional service, they really know their stuff. Leaving the place another guest was tipping the valet. He instantly gave it to a homeless man passing by. Thank you for being a good example!

Went for Christmas Eve. Based on the lobby and delay in being seated (30 min) with a reservation, it felt like they over booked. Despite being clearly overwhelmed, the service was pretty good. The 3 stars is about the food. I found the butternut squash soup bland and the risotto too salty. Considering it was a holiday, I'd give them another shot on a "regular" night, based on the service.

Dined here tonight and the only positive thing I can say: great location. Pass on this restaurant as there are so many better options in Harbor East! Very tiny, extremely over-priced, completely bland, poor tasting entrees. After a $200 bill, left hungry.

I purchased a giftcard on Dec 23rd (I knew it was not going to arrive in time by Christmas, so I planned on giving it to my parents a few days later since they were staying in Baltimore until January 12 and wanted them to have a nice meal). It has been 22 days! (1/14/19 today) and I am still waiting for the giftcard to arrive. Sadly, my parents have already left Maryland so they will not get to enjoy their present... I did sent an email last week and I am still waiting for a response. ORDER #1124

Cinghiale was great. I went during restaurant week and didn't particularly love my dish, but our waiter was fantastic ( knowledgeable on the menu items and wine pairings) and the atmosphere was upscale. I will come back and give it another try based on that, alone.

The food was bold but thoughtful. Radicchio salad was too much for me but the angel hair with beef ragu was melt in your mouth delicious. The duck was perfectly cooked at medium and the sauce was exactly what was needed. Dessert was panna cotta and gelato, not too heavy after a large meal but just what the taste buds needed to wrap up.

I just ate here again for about the 6th time because we went elsewhere and had a bad experience with apps and service... so we left to just get something delicious as a last dinner date before baby comes. Oh my goodness this place does not disappoint... and it never has. Cavatelli cooked perfectly with fresh huge morels and fava beans with crunchy garlic and zucchini strips. My husband thought I would have entree envy over his sausage stuffed parmesan ravioli in sage brown butter but he was mistaken. We got an extra cavatelli to go for the sitter and the service is always amazing. Forever my baltimore go to restaurant.

My wife and I used to love this place and in the past I've given them 5 stars, but in recent months they've really gone down hill. We literally walked out last time we were there. I give them them 2 stars only because I hope they'll return to their original quality.

Great way to kick off restaurant week! Our server Jimi was great! She made excellent recommendations, and offered expert incite into the Foreman/Wolf experience. Squid ink pasta perfectly prepared, Cinghiale 75 great drink.

This is a great place, the food was delicious and so were the drinks. The service is impeccable, staff very knowledgeable. We sat in the outdoor patio this time and really enjoyed it. Highly recommend this restaurant!

This place was Northern Italy, and the 3 for $62 was amazing splurg on the wine of choice cuz 3oz wine pairing isn't a suggestion you wanna take advantage of. Their wine selection is phenomenal and worth the cost.

A combination of great service and delicious food made for an excellent dining experience. The staff knew the menu very well and made very good recommendations. I was leaning towards the rabbit but the waiter had recommended the duck so I went on his recommendation and I was not disappointed. The duck was exceptional. Even though the kitchen was a little behind, the staff made up for it by offering complementary prosciutto and after dinner drinks.

Service was ok, food was way below par and not worth the money. In a group of 10 so dishes were varied and no one was impressed. Meats and cheese pre was great the rest of the meal was not. Haven't been in years and won't be going back anytime soon. If you do don't get the lasagna!

We recently celebrated our anniversary with friends. Cinghiale has a beautiful rustic motiff with pretty views of the harbor. (Check out their signature bronze boars above the bar!!) They have complimentary valet parking, which makes it super easy to come and go. We shared two great bottles of wine, did a 3-course supper, and had charcuterie and cheese. The chef's choice for the cheese was good, but the meats were exceptional. Try the wild boar (Cinghiale) sausage! Detectable!

I haven t even eaten yet and I feel compelled to give them a 5 star. I am here for a birthday dinner and somehow managed to break the bottle of wine I was bringing as a gift. They ran down to their wine store and grabbed a bag and then wrapped a new bottle for me. Outstanding customer service. I can t wait for the meal.

We somehow always end up eating a second dinner here when stopping by for a glass of wine.. The lamb taggliette and squid ink spaghetti are amazing. Always prepared with care. Also, try the biscotti with ceremony coffee espresso for dessert.

While the many restaurants of Little Italy are great for having a great plate of spaghetti and meatballs and other Italian-American favorites, Cinghiale is the place to go in Baltimore for a more authentic Italian fare. Overlooking the harbor, you can dine on a variety of northern Italian specialties, charcuterie and opulent deserts in a very formal yet comfortable setting. Recommend the price set menu to get a full complement of the menu. Prices are higher than other places, but are on par with the neighborhood. Reservations are recommended; especially on weekend nights.

Spent an amazing father's day brunch here, with my hubby n dad. The chicken confit wad the best ever n to die for. I had the pasta dish with eggs n panchetta. Our weight staff was on point and amazing. All the drinks and food were great and the ambiance was superb.

Celebrated our 11th Anniversary there last night (9/5/20). We always carefully choose where we eat each year and this year was no different. The antipastas were delicious. My wife had the squid ink pasta and I had my favorite gnocchi. Both were outstanding. For our third choice my wife had the recommended Tbone steak and I had the pan seared Venison. Both cooked to perfection. I loved the wine reduction sauce with my venison and swiss shard. I don't like shard but loved it tonight.

Tonight's front expertise was outstanding as well. Parrish recommended a Italian Cab that was so outstanding we asked where we can buy another for our own collection.

Highly recommend and will return again in the future.

Food, Drink, Service.....A+!!!!! Went there for a rehearsal dinner and honestly it was some of the best food I've ever had in Baltimore! Every dish was full of flavor and the service was beyond comparison!

Went for restaurants week 2019. Had a fantastic salad, followed by mushroom cod, and panna cotta. Tuesday also happens to be half price wine night! The staff waa knowledgeable and friendly. I look forward to going back!

Prior to heading to Cinghiale I heard from others that they didn't enjoy the food at this restaurant in comparison to other Cindy Wolf restaurants. Rather than taking their advice and reconsidering the venue, my boyfriend and I were terribly disappointed. The service took very long! Food was bland, very small portions, wine selection not so impressive ... It took 30 mins before I received my first cocktail! Bad food waste of $150!

Food is just not good. It's overpriced and undercooked. Pasta was hard around the edges and hardly warm. I don't understand how this place stays in business with such poor food quality. I have given it three chances and all three time myself and my friend did not enjoy the food. Stay away unless you are there just for the drinks. Friendly server!

The chef was very pleasant and explained each piece to us as he handed it to us and answered any questions we had. This is also a BYOB restaurant so don't forget to bring a bottle of sake!! They also take precautions very seriously for indoor dining.

Having traveled and staid in Italy for quite a while, I can claim a pretty good experience of authentic Northern Italian food. Although I rule out most Italian places as they claim being Italian by virtue of serving pizza and/or pasta, Cinghiale delivers really serious Italian food. The ingredients are top notch and the kitchen does a terrific job assembling those into delicious recipes. If you want to experience the type of dinner, food and wine you would get by traveling to Northern Italy visiting the trattoria and ristorante, head to Cinghiale and you will get it; 100%. On top of this, the service is impeccable, the ambiance and decor are very nice and tasty. Finally, you will rarely come across such a wine list. It is very broad, covers all Italian territories, vintages, grapes and growths. It offers from affordable nice wines to top end vintages. You cannot not find the wine that will satisfy your buds and your wallet. In conclusion, Cinghiale is a winner and is here to stay.

We went to Cinghiale for a nice dinner with some friends. We found the service mediocre the food bland and without any flavors what so every. Everything is overpriced and poorly presented.
Our particular waitress was condescending, annoying and very pushy. We were so disappointed with the meal and service. The only thing that saved this review from being no stars was the restaurants atmosphere is very stunning to bad the food isn't.

All my favorite places are Forman Wolf, and the food lived up to my expectations, exceptional. So much Barolo, Barbera, and Barbaresco. I was in foodie/wino heaven! Cheese for the last course, but cookies, too.

I am totally lost as to why this place is so popular. I wanted so much to like it - when we walked in it reminded me of the restaurants we love in Italy with the antipasto displayed and the very lovely decor. We went there for a very special occasion with another couple and I really was looking forward to it based on its reputation. But what a terrible waste of time and money - the food was skimpy and bland, and the service was just ok. The drinks were expensive and watered down -- and we were shocked at the disappointing food quality and rather small portions ( which wouldve been fine if only it tasted pretty good). There' s no point in going into further detail on what we ordered except to say it was stunningly tasteless. Each couple paid almost $300 w/tip including a couple of drinks at the bar first - and this also would have been just fine for really good food and service -- but this was truly one of the worst meals for the money I've had anywhere. I had to apologize for convincing the other couple to try this place. After we paid the bill we took a cab over to LaScala for pasta and wine because we were literally still hungry. I know this place is popular but I do not get it all. I'll take The Prime Rib and LaScala where you know you're absolutely going to get good food and be full when you leave.

The atmosphere and service were great, especially considering that we were such a large group. The food, however, was not as great. Everyone came away from the meal with the same feeling of meh. As it was restaurant week, it is likely that the menu was "dumbed" down, even still, I'm not sure we'll be going back again.

Went to Cinghiale last year. One of worst experiences in years. The bartender had no idea how to make an Old Fashion. It was watered down with ice to the point you could not taste the bourbon. Sent it back. I ordered the wine pairings with my meal. The waitress placed this cheesy looking paper placement with circles emblazoned with the name of the wine that will be served. I felt like a 5th grader. The service was interminably slow that night. I remember the appertizers were deceit, but my entree also had to be sent back and the I waited and waited. My wife had finished her meal by the time my entree returned. The head witress apologized for all of the inconsistencies and offered us complimentary desserts. I vowed to never return, but I was given another gift certificate to Cinghiale so I am hoping that the next visit will be better.

I ve honestly had better tasting meals at Carrabba s for a lot cheaper. I got rockfish and it was so grossly over cooked. The apps and pasta dishes are uninspired, it s a joke of an Italian restaurant. Go to Little Italy if you want a good Italian dish in Baltimore, save yourself the money and disappointment.

My boyfriend took me here for my 29th birthday!!!! We ordered our 3 course ($30) and four course ($60) meals. Very decent prices. First time I tried duck and I loved it. In my opinion, duck is way better than steak. Although I was not a fan of the side of mushrooms in a balsamic reduction, everything else turned out fantastic. Not to mention their deserts are out of this world. Over all AMAZING food, great service and lovely atmosphere. I definitely will be a returning guest. I absolutely loved my experience! Cingahiale is an outstanding, one of a kind restaurant and I highly recommend making this place your next date night.

Food was well prepared and tasty Restaurant week menu included 3 courses. The atmosphere was nice. Not thrilling but nice. Our waiter was attentive but condescending when I asked questions about wine choices. ( they are know for the wine cellar). I am not sure I would go back

Our waiter was incredible! We opted for the chef tasting and the food was just okay. Not what I expected from such a prominent restaurant. I've also seen a few other reviews about the host being unpleasant and I 100% agree. We overheard him changing our table to a different room because we weren't dressed up to par for him apparently. It put a negative spin on our anniversary dinner.

The food was perfect, except for the tiramisu. It was severely over coated that I tapped the excess on to the plate. The good part of my experience is the wine recommended matched perfectly to the kind of palate I was looking for. The negative part.....service started out so slow my guests thought we were a "pick up" table aka table in an area not assigned to a server. When I called in my reservation I said we are celebrating a birthday, the server was not informed. For fine dining I expected better steps of service.
