Having performed here, I know all about this place. They really know how to treat their customers. Its always made sure that guests are treated amazingly. Overall, a great place for the audience and the performers!
Great theatre! Went to see Million Dollar Quartet on our last visit. Absolutely love it!
Went to see Cincinnati Kings, a story story of King's Records... As a child, King record's was our playground...if only we knew, we could have kept those old 33's that we throw around as disc... Very educational show...
I just love the small theater concept. Actors were within 10 feet of me at times
One of the top-rated activities for Cincinnati! If you haven't been here before for a play, you honestly haven't lived. Tickets are expensive, but the productions are well worth what you pay. With such professionalism, Playhouse in the Park is one of those things you have to do at least once! Many families make it a tradition to see some of their holiday productions. The inside of the building is awesome as well. It really does have this fancy feel to it. Check out what their upcoming productions are and don't think twice about it. Please be aware that the one downfall about this place is that parking can be a bit of an issue. I've had to park about a 10 to 15 minute walk away. There is a parking garage attached, but I can't speak about how quickly those spots fill up. Just go prepared and plan accordingly.
Second time visiting, food was excellent however service was very slow.
Playhouse is a lot fun. Not all the the shows are good. Only a couple a of awful shows in 10 years of going to playhouse. Most of the plays are okay and a few are excellent. Recommend looking at play reviews before attending.
So much fun! Wonderful tasting. Fantastic performance.
Me&my girlfriend Heidi&my friend Ken&his wife&her brother&their friend. We all went there to see a Christmas Carol. It was very very GOOD!
Such a great place to go, very friendly people who welcome you! And the acting is great!
I have been here several times before. The last time was the play;" The Little Shop of Horrors". It was so close to the movie with Rick Moranis it was uncanny. A very good show. I will be taking a date there next Friday night to see 2 Pianos & 4 Hands. I expect it to be very good.
Update: My girlfriend and I went to see 2 Pianos and 4 Hands. It was a very good & funny show. It was the 1st time my girlfriend had ever been to the Playhouse or any of this type of show. She enjoyed it very much.
The only thing I think I could add to this is that if you get your tickets online, order the parking ticket with them as well. It for me just makes it a little less hassle parking.
Enjoy your show!
Great time, great show. Groucho Marx was a fun time
Went for the Buddy Holly show. The audience was really involved and up on our feat dancing and singing along! Great experience. It truly is a crowded theater, so get there early. If you're a body builder or larger person, you might want to sit next to someone petite !
Fantastic! A Christmas Carol is one of my favorites!
Wonderful thought provoking shows, delightful music and comedy productions
Wonderful evening at PIP. The play was terrific. All of the actors were great.
Saw the "Million Dollar Quartet ". Not a bad seat in the house. Excellent venue and show.
Pictures are from the far back row...
My wife and I have been season subscribers for several years now. It s great to look forward to each show, have a date night and a chance to escape Cincinnati winters.
We have really enjoyed all of the plays.
In The Heights was a fabulous production. An emotional and touching story.
Had a great night, everything wonderful except the parking
Go here with my mom all the time. Love local professional theater. One of my most favorite places in cincinnati
I was considering getting tickets for A Christmas Carol for myself and my wife as part of a Christmas gift to her. After seeing the outrageous ticket prices I immediately decided against it. Are we getting a full seven course gourmet meal and limo service with those prices or what !?!?!? $ 125 a seat and up ?!?! I can appreciate supporting the arts but I wasn't expecting to support them all and all at once. No show is that good or worth that much for a ticket, I'm sorry. :-(
One of the most amazing places I've ever been! Will definitely be going back very soon!
Wonderful job. Saw Misery and highly recommend it. Not for younger children.
Great seats anywhere. Only issue is parking off site
Excellent venue! Excellent show and a family holiday tradition! We love it!
Surprisingly this was my first play at Playhouse and it did not disappoint. The venue is clean and they have a plethora of some of the yummiest snacks and food items available for before and during the show. The theater itself was also very clean, seats were nice and comfortable enough to sit through a 3 hour play, the ushers were helpful and kind, and the set design was great. Because it is a somewhat smaller theater there isn't a bad seat in the place! The cast members are phenomenal! And parking in their onsite garage was a breeze as we prepaid for parking online and it was fairly quick and easy to get back out at the end of the evening. All in all, a wonderful experience!
Great performance! The facility could be more handicap/elderly friendly with some ramps and not so many stairs.
Very fun for a night out. Great theatre and bar selection. Nearby to a lot of bars and restaurants.
We attended The Lifespan if a Fact. Very interesting play in that the main characters are an editor, an intern, and an author. The intern is assigned a story to fact check in about a week. As he digs into the details, the author has taken liberty with details. It is a funny, poignant and timely commentary on the news cycle of the day.
The Playhouse is an intimate venue where one is almost in the play. The parking is limited so it is wise to purchase with the tickets. I am looking forward to going to several more shows.
I love Playhouse and there are no bad seats. If you haven't been to Playhouse in the Park you are really missing something special.
It's like the movies but with plays. Several of them! Food for the consesion stand is decent and bar is great. Highly recommend!
Great venue for high quality theater at reasonable prices.
Playhouse in the Park is truly a Cincinnati treasure. The experience of live performances in a unique atmosphere is a exciting!
Wonderful. Would have been perfect with a parking pass.
Beautiful Theater we attended a wonderful wedding there
The play two trains by Augustine Wilson was very good. But the playhouse in the park needs some upgrading in the auditorium. Those seeds are way too close together to the back of the next person.
It was so awesome we went there and we had a blast loved it
Another great play.
Season ticket holders for 35 years for a reason
This place is awesome! I'm pretty sure that the show you see we'll have a lot to do with your experience. I saw August Wilson's Jitney and instantly became a fan of this Playhouse. The coffee is downright crappy, but I didn't come for the coffee. I'll definitely be back as soon as I find something that I want to see.
Great opportunity for the children. Staff was very friendly and their Director was fabulous! We loved it!!
I had wanted to see this for several years but I was actually disappointed in the production. We had good seats but were still unable to understand much of the dialogue.
Beautiful theater in the Mt. Adams neighborhood in Cincinnati. There is a coat check for the colder months. Come early and have a drink at the bar or get some light food/coffee at the cafe. You're allowed to take food and drink purchased at the theater into the theaters as well.
Play was great. Everything clean. Need more bartenders.
I have been there many times it was an enjoyable experience
One of the Queen City's crown jewels. Great performances in a great facility
Amazing facilities. The seats are sooooooo comfy for those long, lovely plays.
Went to see a Christmas Carol. They have this play every year and I've been going since I was about six (wow almost 20 years!) It was wonderful as always. The cast is great and so talented. Definately recommend.
Parking is not fun, but great venue and all seats are excellent!
2 trains running as very.good. The performances where awesome.
Everything I have seen there is excellent! The theater is very small and there is not a bad seat in the house.
I don't care what show I've seen, I've never been disappointed!
Wonderful performance with great actors. The venue is so nice, not a bad seat in the house. All the ushers were friendly and helpful as we're bartenders. We will definitely go back. This is a Cincinnati Gem!
Wonderful time! Great production of A Christmas Carol. Ticket prices a bit steep, but creating memories with family is priceless.
Great venue. Good cast and crew. Great performances.
