I m Telling You All, There s No Point In CMHA At AlI. I d Finally Got My Section 8, Only To Find Out That More Than Half Of The City Does Not Accept It. Even If It Says Equal Housing Opportunity, We Are Not Included. The City Isn t Pushing For This To Be Considered Discrimination. We Don t Have Anyone Speaking Up For Us & Because They Don t Have Enough Landlords Participating , 9 Times Out Of 10 Many Families Are Thrown In The Winton Terrace Neighborhood, Which Is An Extremely Harsh Location. This Is Ridiculous.

They are very helpful and nice here. Its set up to screen and keep safe for covid. When me and my fiance arrived for our appointments it was very well set up. Good communication and clear instructions to help get through the appointments quickly. We walked out with a voucher IN HAND within 1 1/2 hours. Thanks CMHA!! Good luck future applicants!

I have been on waitlist sometime now,you call the mailbox is always full, if not mistaken same chick at the front desk just do not answer. I have been calling since april i only spoke to them once in march.they want all your business but cant pick up the calls, why do you have numbers?. I called hud bc mailbox is always full 90% of the time since march. Im trying to find out where im on the list im over 55 and no one seems to be concerned about the seniors. Mortified.

I didn't even want to put a start on here. I've been on a waiting list for 5 and ahalf years now. I've been calling and no one is answering there phones and when I leave a message no one calls you back. This is my first time EVER trying to get help and so far this was a fail

Great place, it's changed a lot, most places have changed because of Covid-19, unfortunately. They help many people with low income, I use to be low income, I worked myself out of that, for over 25 years now. A lot of people don't realize it's there to help people not dependent on subsidy for a lifetime. Thank goodness for this place, a real thankless job for the Housing Specialist & Customer Service Representatives. Stay Blessed!!!

Love the people who work here they are always so nice an professional. No matter what the complaint or concerned they always try to help and in professional timely manner.. Especially the ladies at the front desk.

The lady with short cut... I believe her name is Theresa is very kind and helpful. And so is the two men in uniform that helps keep things moving smoothly. I've only had good experiences dealing with them

They don't care about nobody. We are homeless once again do to black mold It's a waste of time with this program . Keep you homeless and stressed , sick..
