Hot inside for some reason, but performance was excellent.
Beautiful restored old theater with new acts and orchestra acts. This is located in downtown Cincinnati and a very nice place to visit.
Beautiful facilty, be careful the lighting is bad in the balcony. I fell down the stairs and no one seemed to bother to check and make sure I was ok.
Seen Alice Cooper here it was awesome, great little place.
Boney James concert... great seats... sound is fantastic...very comfortable seating too
Very polite staff! I've only been in the ballroom, but it's an enjoyable experience. I've been then when lots of people were there, and when not many were there. It was awesome either way. Staff was polite, and understanding. The hospitality is present, and they work to improve the ballroom. (They added better AC.)
Saw INCUBUS here last November and I m pretty sure Aziz Ansari like 6 years ago. Very amazing venue. So beautiful. Very nice acoustics INCUBUS sounded just like I had imagined. Great staff working the event and honestly the beers in there are pretty decently priced I think I was paying just 5 bucks for White Claws. Hope this helps!
Nice venue, but being barked at by staff and run through a metal detector is not a great way to start an evening. I get the need for security, I guess, but I've had more pleasant experiences with airport security.
Love the way it becomes one with the sound and music
Great theater. Big area that hosts a variety of shows, genres, and concerts
First time there liked the size of theater.Sound was not overwhelming. Enjoyed the show will go back.
Beautiful place for intimate concerts and shows. Wonderful acoustics and good vantage points. Only downfall is the seats are so close together you can not stretch your legs out and for taller people (my husband 6'2") or women in heels (myself 6"stilletos) after 2hrs with our knees bent up it was very uncomfortable.
Great venue, has been kept well. Everything was beautiful and clean. Staff were helpful and friendly. Would definitely come back for another show!
Just attend a show here and you'll see why we loved it!
Good venue. Sound good and all seats have a decent view. Seen concerts and plays and all have been wonderful. Most of the concessions are cash only.
Great venue. Seats are a bit on thue smaall size. Great sound.
The performances that come in are usually interesting and entertaining, but the fact that everything at the venue is cash only makes no sense. It's even worse considering there's only one ATM in the entire building. Taft could do a lot to treat their patrons better.
Alice in chains. Show was great, the line for refreshments was terrible.
Saw MBMBaM live and it was a lovely venue. Leg room in the balcony is a bit tight.
Nice folks but terrible hours, took me 3 tries to purchase tickets for future shows at Riverbend
Absolutely awesome... First time in the ballroom.. The Allman Betts group...
The acoustic are great and its just a fun place with some great musical acts. saw over the rhiine there . wonderful night
Beautiful building with character and good acoustics. Lines for drinks and restrooms can get long so plan accordingly.
The Taft is a great old school theater venue. In the summer it can get a little hot, so dress accordingly. The main bathrooms are on the lower level (just something to be aware of if you order someoneyou are with are in a wheelchair). There is a family style bathroom pin the main floor but it often has long lines.
Sounds is amazing. Great venue. No bad seats in the place. Lots of bathrooms everywhere.
I am a 5'5 woman and I am too tall for your balcony seats. I felt like a sausage in a casing up there. So uncomfortable.
Old theater, but overall good experience. Annie Jr. was a great production. Great job Cincinnati Children's Theater!
The Taft is very nice, classic theater. Seating is great. Not to sound cliche, but there really is not a bad seat in the house
Beautiful place with good acoustics. Worth the trip for a show.
Love this place. Have seen several shows and really enjoy the quaint vintage simplicity of the theater.
Great view from the balcony. Gets very warm in there. Only accepts cash at concessions but has ATM.
It's a beautiful old theater. Tickets for the show we went to watch were way to expensive for the view we had. I experienced it but would rather go somewhere else.
Not a bad seat in the house Portable Bar Station at every door entering the theatre, broad selection of liquor and beers. wonderful atmosphere. The security wanted to confiscate my pocket knife and not return it. they need to upgrade this policy. ? give them a claim ticket for their forgotten property left in ones pocket. I understand the security issues these days. Don't forget to take your pocket knife out of the pocket before going to a public event. Wer had a well deserved great evening at the TAFT...... I recommend it for all events & .shows
I really like this old theater, the only problem I had with it is the seats are relatively small & cramped, and they only have one ATM when they have cash only kind of sucks. It is recommended that you plan to bring cash with you ahead of time. Other than that the theater host a variety of shows that have all been very enjoyable to see. I've had many memorable moments with Taft theater and can't thank them, their staff, and the entertainers enough. Being an older theater they don't have a lot of room for concessions or for the performers to sell goods. therefore if you're going to get concessions or stand in line to get goods have a little patience.
Great Venue for a show...small and intimate....beautiful on the inside....small playhouse not a bad seat in the house...
I Saw DD4L! Staff was nice theater a/c didn't work.
Always a great time at the Taft. Helpful staff, check out the bar downstairs.
If you re into theatres then go here, I d give you a review but I was working there so I feel my opinion will reflect that
Great space. Sounds good, easy to get to and park, and not too pricey, generally
Great place to see a concert! Not a bad seat in the house!
Beautiful theatre. From what I could tell there's not a bad seat in the house. Every seat has a good view of the stage.
Gary Owen was awesome. Great venue and wonderful seats!
its hard not to love this place, service is great and the shows are top notch.
