The theater is a great venue, but avoid the balcony for concerts. The sound quality up there is horrid. Same with the ballroom in the basement. I saw Umphrey's McGee two nights in a row at the theater, first in the balcony, then at floor level. At the balcony level the snare drum pretty much dominated the rest of the sound--probably because we were at ear level with the top of the tweeter stack. Was so very disappointed with that concert. But the next night on floor level was a completely different experience. Will never get balcony seats again. Only saw one concert in the ballroom. The band even mentioned how it felt to them like they were playing in their parent's basement. Very boomy--bass drowned out any nuance the music might have had, and the poor organist was simply inaudible 90% of the time. I walked all over that space trying to find a decent spot to listen, and finally settled for the very back corner, farthest from the stage, but it still was not great. Not sure how much of that could have been alleviated by better sound engineers (this was Magpie Salute so I assumed they knew what they were doing) and how much was simply bad room acoustics, but I likely won't go to the ballroom again.

We saw That Adventure Zone here last night. The theater is a beautiful old building with tons of beautiful murals and lovely architecture. The seats are a bit narrow for modern audiences but that is really not a big deal. The acoustics are good and the staff was friendly and helpful. Great place to see a show.

We went to see Swan Lake Ballet performance at the Taft Theatre on a Thursday night. The Taft is located in the heart of downtown Cincinnati. It has beautiful art deco architecture and is within walking distance from many restaurants in the area. We had 3rd row seats to the left of the stage. It was indeed an intimate experience. I look forward to seeing more musical performances at this Historic 1928 Gem.

Beautiful building. Great place for a comedy show. Food quality is poor but the staff is very friendly. Need more direction from staff before doors open. We were waiting in line and when the doors opened 20 people cut us in line to get to their seats. Lol

Saw the McElroy family live for My Brother, My Brother, and Me and The Adventure Zone and it was an incredible venue! It was beautiful, the walk out with the crowd wasn't too bad, and overall it's a fairly spacious, well, space, and I would come back again.

I recently came to a symphony concert with a friend who uses a wheelchair. From the moment we pulled to the curb, we were assisted in the most helpful way by both police and Taft employees. My friend was taken into the lobby while I drove around the block to park. I am so grateful for the excellent service we received.
Thank you to all who made our visit such a success.
P.S. The concert and the guest violinist Gil Shaham were brilliant.

Such a nice little theatre. Been here a couple times, the layout of the rows makes it feel like you cna get a good view from lots of different corners of the theater. Also within good walking distance of several cheap and good parking lots. Staff was all super helpful and I was able to find my seats pretty easy. I felt like my seat was roomy but I'm a smol dude so I'm not a good read on it.

We saw hozier perform at Taft Theatre and it was great! The interior was beautiful and big! The seats were comfortable although we stood for the whole concert since we were in the first row. There was security at the doors and they have nice restrooms as well.

The staff are super friendly and facilities are nice and clean. However, I will say that the seats are terribly uncomfortable. I'm 5'10 and my knees were against the seat in front of me the entire time. I highly recommend reserving a seat on the end or one at the beginning of a section if you are tall.

Gr8 intamat setting. Had a gr8 time with my girlfriend. The only thing I would change is the bar area and how disorganized it was 2 get drinks. 3 lines 4 1 bartender is ridiculous. But I would go again definitely.

The taft draws some great acts, but it's a challenging space. It was pretty cold the night we were there, but the building' HVAC couldn't handle all of humidity from so many people. There was a misty/greasy feeling to the air. The restrooms are so outdated and cramped; try to go before you go!

Great place to see a show. Beautifully restored art deco theater. Not a bad view from any seat. Check out their online views from any section. Good tool to use when deciding what seats to purchase.
