5*+ category. Adjacent to Sea. Fresh breezing, pleasant, calm, beautiful. Water & Greenary. One must visit & stay once at least.

It was a great experience..Very helpful and dedicated staff..Awesome view and beautiful rooms..it's a must visit place..love the walkway along the beach...sea facing pools..we enjoyed a lot!!! Thanks cidade de goa for making our trip so special!!!

So mostly likes its private beach part great to enjoy.

But talking about money so its too expensive.

We were there for 4 days and the first two were a mess. The staff were unfriendly at first, room service orders came late with items missing and no cutlery/crockery. Though check in was at 2 pm, our room wasn't ready till 4:00 pm. While we were waiting, nothing was offered and lunch service was strictly closed. We had to raise hell a bunch of times to get things to work properly. There was an event happening on the first day and the music was extremely loud and our entire room was reverberating. Despite multiple requests to the night manager to let us know the closing time, we didn't get any response. The staff was overall very unresponsive. There was a gift from our friend waiting at the front desk. I had to call 6 times and they never returned my call to tell me if it was there. Finally I went myself and it was literally sitting just next to the reception desk in a bright yellow bag that cannot be missed. The breakfast was great and the breakfast staff including Rajiv were excellent. They took great care of us and made us finally feel like we were staying at a proper resort. The pool and pool services were excellent too. Food at Alfama was good. Overall, I won't go there again. For the price I paid, a Marriott or Alila property would've been a much better experience. The rooms were small, old, musty, and there wasn't any bathtub in that tiny bathroom. Even though the beach view was good, the beach itself had a lot of seaweed floating in and out. Overall, I won't recommend this to anyone. Below average.

It's a complete getaway from hectic life. The place adds value of the Goa as a hazel free travelling destination mainly due to less traffic.

A world class hotel. Trust me the service is one of the best in the world. Having its own beach in their backyard, this hotel turned out to be an ideal holiday spot for my parents. Saumalya gave us one of the best rooms and is an excellent professional. The room was amazing, the staff were pleasant, the breakfast buffet was phenomenal and the entire experience was nothing short of a dream come true for my mum whose age-old wish was to visit Goa. A plush upscale resort with a beach. Marvelous greenery and very clean. Decent food and amazing views all around. Very peaceful and serene. Lot of activities on premise. Not an ideal bachelor stay but if you are here with your family, this would be an ideal recommendation.

Last time been here 12 years ago with my husband. We back. Can see it goen down hill becouse all there interested is Charing hi prices for drink, food and every thing they sell. Holing India wedding and not maintaing the surrounding. Not got the polite service we had before we will not not come back here again.

A decent hotel for a family getaway. Rooms are spacious, have free wifi, indoor arena outdoor pool, authentic goan cuisine with other varieties. Staff are very polite, helpfull. They have instructor for swimming pool, provide a render shuttle for site seeing. Rooms are sea view as they have there private beach.

A huge spacious property with a private beach... One of the best hotels to stay in Goa... Good, clean and spacious rooms.. Has a restaurant with good food and polite staff... Big, open lawns to organize various kinds of events including wedding... Good option for destination events... Has water activities like water scooter etc.. I have been here twice and my experience has been really nice on both the occasions...

Great hotel ! It is very close to the Vaingunim Beach , which is one of the less crowded beaches in Goa. Staff is very courteous, and the food is top notch ! Recommended :)

We had a event planned here.
The hall was good, we had choreographers and decorators hence nothing was contributed by the resort.

Resort came to picture at the time of dinner which was after the event. And it was ok. Compared to the cost they have charged us, it was not as expected and not worthy of the hype also.

So I feel only the ambience, location and grand feel is good but when it comes to service and food, it's below average.

Who so ever you are, its good to take care of your guest but might be you dnt kwn tht guest means a person who come to our house and because he is our guest so our whole family work together for his comfortable stay but dear team when you even cant make ur family happy so how you can make the guest happy.
Ur staff does not have manners to tlk with their subordinates specially trainees. You paid least to your employees most of thm r unhappy with tht but thy cant do anythng bcoz atlst thy have to serve thmslves and their families so thy keep doing thr work.
Food in cafeteria is vry bad and the bst joke is tht u want extra money for food for ur employees. I nvr heard it before.
Hotel should have to first take care for its employees and than think abt guest's comfortable stay. Their is a vast difference between an employee and a machine u forced thm to work for 16 to 18 hours in a day. Dear general manager if u reading this so plzz atlest thnk abt tham too nobdy even you lyk tht somebdy force ur son to work for such a long tym.
Money can give you comforts mam but the real happiness is to make others happy..
God gives you more thn enough coz he want you to be his hand and help the needy once.

The location of this property is very good. But it lacks that feel of luxury. You want find it value for money. As the private beach they have is not so clean & look like polluted beach. Even the public beaches like baga is cleaner & looks good. The food is not upto the mark. Though it is the oldest hotel in goa it doesn't feel like one. There is something which lacks in this hotel which you find in Marriott or grand Hyatt....the feel of luxury.

The best part is the beach that ws next to the hotel room. Prices seem on the higher side compared to the quality of rooms provided

This was my first stay in cidade de goa ... It was my amazing experience .. housekeeping department doing good.. housekeeper subash is doing very well.. and aman and shibu from housekeeping is very helpful

Nice hotel, but the rooms are small for the price and bathrooms even smaller. The biggest plus part is that it is located right on the beach.

Rooms are good...beach is not great.... breakfast was good too...very exorbitant...there are many good options in Goa for lesser price... We wanted to stay here solely for its Architecture
