Cibolo Nature Center Review

Wonderful place for a nature adventure! We've done field trips with school there and even witnessed a friend being baptized in the river there! Is a great place for the whole family

Beautiful area to do some nature hiking, especially, if you like the outdoors.

We take our kids here all the time. Our 2 year old has such fun seeing the dinosaur tracks. We look for all the life we can find. It is such a nice place to educate and go on adventures with little ones.

Love this places the children and I had an amazingly peaceful time here

The store was disappointing.
Information on what the center does was limited.....still unclear.
Website was better than the reality.
Looks like it could be a cool place for an event.

Totally disappointed. No definite trails. Overgrown grass. 4 to 6 ft right on picnic tables. The picture basically show all it has.

One of the best places to walk and/ jog. Going back to this place at least once a month.

Very clean. Giant trees. Clear water and few schools of fish in it the creek.
Occasionally deers are seem.

Trails are not very long, maybe 1/2 mile total from 1 end to the other

A great place to take children for a fun day out. Take the trail that follows the Pedernales River. There are great places to stop along the way down the river.

The Cibolo Nature Center provides not only an incredible learning environment for all ages, the caring and knowledgeable staff makes the experience truly awesome!

Lovely walk along the water or through the fields. Benches to sit & picnic tables to munch!!

Beautiful place for family walks through the woods. Good classes on different topics. We attended their Owl Lecture and walked along the creek to find them. Lots of fun and educational.

This is an underrated nature preserve just outside of Boerne. The park has a few miles of hiking trails, including one that runs along Cibolo Creek. There's also a boardwalk over some small wetlands. It's a great place to come year around. Cibolo is well worth a few hours of time.

Love this park. If the water is not clean, you couldn't breed fireflies so easier.

Nice quiet trail. Amazing huge cypress trees line the creek.

This place is a hidden gem in a small town. Place offers a calm hike along the creek lined by cypress trees and more. Lots of spots for families to hang out. Loved the place. Must visit.

Have not been there for a couple of years. Loved that they added a path across the creek. Wish the swings were back.

The nature center is a great place and we enjoy taking out son there ever summer for camp and he loves it. The staff there is also so friendly.

This place is absolutely lovely. Many memories were built here with my children, who are grown now. Back in the 2005, my little boys and I would marvel at the beauty all around. The dinosaur footprint replica to the right of the parking lot when driving in, was my little boys favorite. We would walk on the trail to the rolling brook and then sit at the picnic table, and have our lunch. Later we'd walk back to the marsh area and spend a little time on the deck. It was hard getting my kids to leave. This place is monumental for me. I hope to visit again soon.

Nice area for walks with the dogs. Great place for family photos also. Plenty of different types of scenery to enjoy and a play place for kids.

This was a beautiful hike! I love the way the trees grow, twisting and turning. The coolest was standing on a giant root at the river and seeing the water flow out from under the tree. Cant wait to see more of San Antonio. Texas is gorgeous! I can go back to New Hampshire and confirm, yup, everything is bigger in Texas! Thanks ya'll!

This is one of my favorite parks to visit, it has nice trails that run along the creek and is dog friendly. Plenty of places to sit and enjoy nature!

We brought our 5th grade class for a field trip. The kids loved it. The volunteers were wonderful. There was so much to see and do.

Scenic facilities, with well-maintained trailways. Just as settlers and visitors in the past several centuries, come visit Cibolo Creek and enjoy nature and her quiet beauty.

Be sure and pick up after your four-legged and two-legged companions, and leave the park better than you found it.

Beautiful place! You really feel outside of town and in the middle of nature. I wish the trails were more clearly marked though. The bathroom was very clean which was super nice.

Very beautiful nature center with replicated dinosaur tracks, a shop that also keeps fossils, horns, bones, turtle shells, snake skin etc. The creek was beautiful but look out for small snakes in the water. Lots of small fish to catch and release.
