Cosy, relaxed atmosphere. Nice back patio to enjoy when the weathers warm. The menu is curated and delivers well executed food. I enjoyed the sea bream, which was perfectly cooked and the accompanying mix of sauce and vegetables brought it all together beautifully. This is a nice spot for a special meal.

I heard so much about the Harbor Room that I, as a lover of hamburger cuisine, was dying to try theirs. Not too many places offer the choice of rare to well done and that always depends on the quality of ground beef and where ground. I ordered medium, which to me, is a bit of pink in the middle. Others commented that it looked more like steak tatar. I guess I should have sent it back. I'll try it one more time and take a flashlight (as they dim lights) to make sure it's done as ordered. Everything else was done perfectly.

I took my girlfriend here for her birthday. Beautiful, quiet location when we first arrived. The backyard patio is absolutely fantastic and sitting among the plants are trees really makes you feel at home.

The staff were all very friendly and helpful with food and drink selections. I noticed burgers were easily the fastest item to come out and many people were getting them. That's unfortunate because the Sous Vide fish and perfectly cooked pork chop were more than worth the wait. We also had Ceviche to start and the best cornbread I've ever eaten.

The selection of mixed drinks was quite long with many interesting options, 2/5 of their beers were out of stock but im fairly easy going when it comes to beer choices and can appreciate a restaurant with a selection of local breweries.

I have nothing negative to say about The Harbord Room and look forward to my next visit.

Arguably the best burger in Toronto! If you go, this is a nust try. Service is friendly, the room very cozy and intimate, and all around a really great experience. TIP: This place is very, very busy. Reso's are recommended, or be prepared to wait. 8/10

Truly spectacular and thoughtful flavour combinations, particularly the sweet and savoury kind. Try the charcuterie board, one of the best I've had anywhere; the autumn beet salad with Gorgonzola and pumpkin seed brittle; and the braised beef. Pass on the grape and almond tart with peanut butter mouse (the peanut and almond flavours lost their distinct character in combination, the grape jam didn't offer enough contrast and the overall texture too uniform). Good service and lovely, warm atmosphere.

Had a family dinner on a Wednesday night at the Harboard Room. Initially went to THR & Co., which is an affiliated restaurant, and the people there were kind enough to guide us three doors down to the other restaurant. Naming is a little confusing. Service was excellent. Very friendly, attentive staff. Started with the expensive, but delicious, bad blood cocktail. Even though I heard the burgers were the best in the city, I opted for the 1/2 brick chicken and we ordered some fries for the table. Everything was fantastic. Decent selection of vegetarian/pescetarian/vegan options for those that don't want meat. Would certainly eat here again just to try out some of the other dishes.

The Naturally Raised Beef Burger at the Harbord Room is one of the highlights of Toronto. Harbord Street has a lot going on, and The Harbord Room feels like a private hangout.

When I visited the Harbord Room I ordered the last burger of the night. The chef left nothing behind. A perfectly cooked beef patty was paired with sharp cheddar, caramelized onions, and a bun that melted into a perfect combination of flavor. I added bacon as the finishing touch on mine and it was perfect. Eating this burger was a pure joy and the fact it was plated so well, and paired with excellent fries, sold me even more.

This was my 5th time at the Harbord Room. Went again last night for their used-to-be great burger. Never again.

Where do I start?
- Sloppy presentation of the food...fit for a sloppy joe, not a gourmet burger. It actually looked microwaved
- the meat was gross...bit into 2 pea-sized cartilage chunks in the patty. Automatic turn-off
- fries were meh
- service was ok
- sauces were great (fave part of the meal)

and to top it off, the cloth napkins were so cheap or washed too many times that my entire black dress was covered in white lint. My bf was wearing black pants...also covered with lint.

Consistently a great experience. Food is delicious and portions are reasonable. Service is friendly and helpful. In one of my visits the host was speaking to a guest on the phone when we walked in and she asked the guest to wait and helped us immediately. I shouldn't be impressed by this but too often customers on the phone get served first while those in person are asked to wait.

This is a really busy place, not that much seating so make sure to get an reservation first.

The restaurant itself had a great ambience, it was cozy and very intimate. However, at times it seemed a tad too cramped and small. The food was delicious for the most part. I had the burger, which was very well prepared and delivered exactly how I asked for it to be. However, my partner, who is a vegetarian, did not find much variety in the available vegetarian dishes. The kitchen offered to make a plate of seasonal veggies that they had, but it was basically random sides from different entrees put together. The service, on the other hand, was absolutely wonderful. Our server was very attentive and the hostess even checked up on us from time to time. Although it is a rather decent place, I don't think we'll be going back any time soon.

This has been to-do list for a while. I finally was able to go this weekend. I had the steak which was cooked perfectly: medium-rare, just the way I like it. For dessert, I had the brown sugar cake, which came with rosewater ice cream. It is a very nice , cozy small restaurant. Good for a date.
