Christus Santa Rosa Medical Center Review

I would like to thank the personnel working at the ER on 11/28/2020. They attended to my wife quickly and with the utmost care and professionalism. The doctor was very concerned and took action immediately. We were in and out of there within 45 minutes and my wife is feeling much better after taking the medicines prescribed. All of the staff from the intake nurse to the nurse taking vitals and the doctor were the best I ve ever experienced. We are very grateful and know that God will bless these heroes for the work and compassion they showed us. Especially during this pandemic Please recognize this staff for the love they showed us. Thank you!!

They are always friendly and supportive. You can really tell they want you to get well.
Clean and staff always sanitize before and after seeing us.

My mom was sent here since christus westover didn't have space. Christus medical center is worst hospital on san antonio.
Doctors dont visit. Nurses are slow and dont communicate. There are no plans and execution to get you out of hospital.
Comments for last years have been bad
and do not see any improvement.

The place is a dangerous hospital for care,robotic non caring nurses,as slow as a snail while waiting for anything needed for pain or adrink of water etc.i I didn't feel my Mother was safe there.

Very rude and unprofessional and do not know how to follow their own rules and regulations , refused to let family members in , when before they let 3 of us in at a time but then they wouldn t let a pair of family members to go in and visit her , believe it could have been because of prejudice honestly very rude people and environment, also somehow my mother family heirloom ring was stolen and not one person knows where it is and saying their is nothing they can do. It obviously did not walk off on its own.contacting the news about this because it was very unprofessional and I m honestly disappointed in this hospital and staff how they can steal from their own patients, it s truly pathetic. Vanessa was her personal sitter when it went missing .

My mother has been admitted three separate times in the last few months due to some recurring health problems.

All three consecutive times SHE WAS DISCHARGED WITH NO NOTIFICATION TO ME, HER CONTACT PERSON! Three consecutive times they sent her back to her nursing facility without calling me or anyone else.

THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE!

If I could leave a 1/2 star rating I would.

I reached out to one of the directors and filed a grievance the second time it happened and I heard nothing. They just did it for the third time yesterday.

IT SEEMS CLEAR THEY DON T TAKE SERIOUS COMPLAINTS SERIOUSLY OR REALLY CARE ABOUT THE PEOPLE THEY TREAT!

These doctors and nurses know absolutely nothing! We were there last week for appendicitis and every nurse that came in knew nothing about my boyfriend. They were asking him if they knew which medicine he got before and how much he was getting??? Not sure if they were just too lazy to read the charts or just didn t care since it wasn t an emergency . And now that he s recovering he s called multiple times with questions about certain things he can or can t do and every nurse says they don t know or can t help him he would have to talk to the surgeon? As if it s easy to just get a hold of a surgeon who s busy with surgeries all day! The surgeon also didn t give him his personal number and no employees will help him to get it. If you have the choice go elsewhere!!

My parent had dizzy on his head, lie on the bed and it is hard to move and walk, we went to the emergency care, the doctor cure his dizziness, the doctor is so friendly, and the nurse and the other staff are friendly too. Thanks so much, God bless America!

My father has been in the hospital for several days he is 96 years old. I do not like the service at all. There is no communication between the nurses. He did have 3 nurses that responded after we called them, the others did not come. He was suppose to have a test today so he was not suppose to eat after midnight, but they brought him breakfast and he ate so the test was canceled. We are very upset. There is no team work.

If you have a family member, with Covid, in this hospital dont expect to ever get update information on their health status. Multiple calls to nursing station go unanswered, calls to nursing supervisor are not returned. This is very unprofessional and insensitive. They obviously dont care!
