Great place, need a website to shop online. Also should connect to Charleston sites....It s all about exposure.

My first time in Charleston and the first time visiting this store. Although the fashions are beautiful, the store was not a pleasant shopping experience. One sales person greeted me, the others did not speak or welcome me as they stood and sat behind the counter. It was an erie feeling as a sales person followed me around the store but did not speak to me. I finally engaged her in dialogue and the exchange was pleasant. The store closed at 6pm, and at 5:50pm the store shut off the music and turned off the lights while I was browsing in front of the main counter. One sales person was celebrating how they all got through "a slow day," but no one seemed to care that I was in the store. Better customer service is needed if the store wants to improve.

Beware! This is a lovely local shop on King Street in downtown Charleston with a very helpful sales staff....until there is an issue. I am a local resident and have frequented the shop both alone and with out of town guests. And, based on my recent experience, I will never be back again and will be certain to never bring an out of town guest there! I recently purchased a hat and tried to return it today. Unbeknownst to me, on the bottom of the receipt that was printed AFTER I made my purchase, was a disclaimer that items had to be returned within 7 days. The sales lady had asked if I "wanted the receipt in the bag", which I agreed to, so I never looked at the receipt. There is no notice anywhere else in the store that this is their policy. The owner/ manager refused to come out to speak with me and the poor sales lady was left on her own. Luckily, there are many more lovely and gracious stores in Charleston where I will shop and take my guests. So, especially if you are from out of town BEWARE!! and go elsewhere.

They carry some of the best lines in fashion! I highly recommend!

What a lovely shop. HOWEVER, I would never do business with them again!! I was sold what was suppose to be an authentic Goyard bag. Supposedly it was one of the last three left in the store and was on sale for $1100.00. Considering the quality merchandise, I never considered it to be fake until I got home and could not find the color combo on line. I called Christian Miche and talked to Sherry, the owner. She assured me it was authentic once again. I took it to a Goyard store in Dallas and they confirmed my fear that it was fake!!!!
She straight out LIED to me three different times knowing it wasn t real. She then said that yes, she would take it back for store credit . I live 13 hours away in Little Rock, AR!!!! How could a business owner be so shady and dishonest? BEWARE!!!!

Tuesday I saw a cute pair of gloves with a rabbit fur cuff...that I wanted. But didn't get them because I already have a pair (or two). So I had to think about it. Erika was definitely helpful (Tuesday)....but was out the day I came back (Friday). And the other nice sales woman I met the Tuesday was helping another customer today (Friday).
On Friday, we go back. My friends were worried about touching anything.....that is NOT a response a compay in retail sales should evoke.
An older white-haired woman looked at me and murmurred something to her cohort. Nonetheless, because of Erika's exemplary service and having a good conversation with me on Tuesday.....I STILL bought (other) rabbit fur cuffs. She is why Christuan Michi doesn't get 1-star.

I live in Charleston and love the store but they need to change the return policy. I bought a sweater for my daughter for Christmas. We took it back the day after Christmas because she wanted to get a different color. I was told that after seven days of purchase they don't accepts refunds or exchanges. ( I bought the sweater a month ago) I can understand no refund but at least offer an exchange for a different size, color, new item or store credit. I try hard to support local stores but after being told NO, I will never buy anything in the store again. I can buy the Joules brand online with much better refund and exchange policy.

Beautiful, locally owned boutique with high-end luxury goods. I love their accessories, and you could literally spend the entire day in there searching through their curated items. I m so glad the day spa upstairs referred me!

So it was our first time in Charleston. We parked our car and decided to walk to city market. On the way we saw this store and thought we would walk in and take a look around. We went in, they had beautiful stuff. And the store was well decorated. But they were WAY WAY over priced. The staff seemed nice at first. But then they asked us what language we were speaking. And we said Farsi. Their faces changed immediately and they started following us around. One of them followed us upstairs and VERY rudely and impatiently asked if there is anything she can help us find (meaning to say don't just roam around if u don't want to buy anything!!) and i replied that no, we were walking and stumbled upon their store. She literally second looked anything we were looking at and counted and touched them to make sure they were right, as if to imply that we are thieves!!!! She didn't leave our side till she escorted us out the door!!!! My husband and best friend who were with me, have PhDs and they are working in an ivy league university. I was so offended and felt so horrible. And i have a law degree. We were dressed in jeans and t-shirts. We didn't do anything to justify this reaction. I loved their stuff and wanted to bring my mum and dad who would have loved to buy a few of their stuff. But with this reaction?! Never!!

This is a great store to find many very unique gifts for yourself, the home and others. I know what I find here is not going to be seen at another store unless it's Gwynn's of Mt. Pleasant, SC. Both of these stores are shopping treasures. Christian Michi is downtown at the corner of Market and King St. This is a must stop on your shopping trip downtown. You will not be disappointed and can find that great gift that is sure to please.
