Food was off the hook. Just so good. Full of flavor and fresh. Highly recommend this place.

Wonderful atmosphere friendly staff Delicious meals with magnificent presentation. We were a party of 8 & each meal was full to the brim with flavour & all were happily devoured. My new favourite restaurant in Auckland

Been here once before, had best dining experience! Staff was so kind and attentive, food was absolutely fabulous! Every bite tasted new . Their tiramisu is amazing too. Couldn't forget the taste so had to come back for takeaway tiramisu. Just waiting it to melt down.. You are missing out big time if you haven't tried chikos

We just ordered our first take out after lockdown and I am over the moon happy! What incredible food!!!! We had the best dinner, loved every bite, and ordering and pick up was so easy! Such a friendly team too!! Thank you!!! We had the Nasi Goreng Bagus, fish and chips, chicken enchiladas and BBQ ribs. Wow.... wow wow wow!!!

Ordered the steak apparently you can't have it rare. Also a few things were missing that were on the menu.

Have been to Chikos a couple of times now & will be returning again. Beautifully presented dishes & lovely food too. Simply put .. you must try this restaurant

Nice place, good food. I liked the way they do desserts - they bring a tray around with all the options on it along with pricing, it's handy for figuring out sizes!

Very friendly, clean and organized place. We got surprised by the presentation of the food! Beautifully decorated and nicely mixed multi cultural tastes. This is the REAL fusion dishes!! We will try some sweets next time.

Fusion filipino and Japanese, European food are very interesting taste and decorated beautifully, also dessert was awsome. Probably one of the best and fancy restaurant in West Auckland area. However they charge credit card surcharge without notice. If you don't want to pay credit card surcharge, pay cash or bank cheque cards. It was first experience to pay credit card surcharge in fancy expensive restaurant. Dinner menus are slightly over priced. Recommend for lunch.

We had an early booking which initially thought an issue but perfect quiet time. Lovely attentive service. Food beautifully presented and a taste sensation. Great Nelson Chard. Excellent experience. Will be back.

Went for a birthday lunch. Really good food with great presentation. We had mains which were all below $30 (expect to pay in the $30s in town), and dessert (save room for dessert fantastic selection). Recommend.

Love their food~ Been there twice now~ 1st time: had thai pork ribs and braised beef to share between 2. Was so nice, pork was tender and tasty, beef was full of flavour. I like how the dishes are designed to be shared and can also have it to yourself if you want. 2nd time: went back for the toasted sisig sushi, was delicious~ The dessert was introduced to you (physically shown to you) at the table rather than on a menu . Good potion size as well~ The waitress was also lovely~ Will definitely be back~

A fantastic choice to have a nice dinner. Very friendly Service, the food varies from sea food to meat. Also deserts are great. You have also a good selection of wines. A clear recommendation.

Excellent food and atmosphere. Appreciate the decor and real plants. Food looks and tastes amazing and has a really unique take on some dishes. Make sure you book in advance on busy nights. Desserts are great and very enticing. Could use more GF and DF options but all the items are at least clearly marked.

Chikos always has a special place in my heart when i have a hankering for good food, especially crispy pata( filipino style deep fried pork knuckles). The place is an awesome fusion of pacific rim dishes...so it's like a little bit of japanese,indonesian,malaysian, pasifika philippines, thai nz dishes in your mouth. The prices are very reasonable and the staff really looks after you. I love going to this place as the owners are very involve and i know that every dish served is made with love.

Chikos is one of the few restaurants in West Auckland that offers beautifully plated dishes in the style of more popular fine dining options in the City. It's a good option for those wanting to celebrate a special occasion without the hassle of driving into the city proper.

In terms of food, the dishes are cooked well. We had the pork belly, duck leg and raw fish. The kids were offered fish or chicken and chips but we ended up not going with that because the chips are fried in peanut oil and my daughter is allergic to peanuts. So the chef specially pan fried the fish instead with rice and broccoli. Even the children's dish was plated beautifully.



The reason why I gave this a 4 instead of 5 is that I found the dishes to be executed well but the combination of flavours and textures not quite hitting the mark of say the more popular established fine dining places. This should really be a 4.5 but if the chef manages to get this last part right, Chikos will definitely be giving other top restaurants in Auckland a good run for the money.

The Pork Loin was incredible! Great food, great service.

Got treated to a nice dinner. Food quality was real good and service was great. Plate presentation was beautiful. I found our server lacking in a bit of knowledge about the wine list. Still Chickos is a great place for that spacial occasion.

Great place, and friendly staff compliment an excellent an interesting menu. Not the cheapest restaurant but well worth a visit.

Fine dining on Lincoln Rd starts at Chikos. Warm, friendly and professional team, we are always well looked after. A top class team in the kitchen, I'm always impressed by the range of options in each menu section, especially desserts! You'll never go home hungry :)

To be honest based on the area I wasnt holding out too much hope for this restaurant but it had been recommended. The starting impression was the really nice decor and feeling of the place, then the great service. And finally the food which was an eclectic selection of a western-asian fusion meals.

To Chikos team. Thank you for the best food and the best service!! Thank you to make my mum's birthday so special by lighting candles on my mum's dissert to make her day even more special.

Second time at this place and had to order takeaway due alert level 3 but the food was just as incredible as last time. Nasi goreng bagus was a beautiful lamb meal as was the chicken enchiladas. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their food. The staff were very friendly and personable.
Highly recommend this place. Looking forward to our next visit.

First time here. Very quiet after the long weekend but can't believe more people aren't here. The meal was fantastic. Even my kale side dish was bursting with flavour. Hope West Auckland appreciates this high calibre restaurant on the doorstep. Great food, service and setting. We will be back.

My fourth time diner with family and friends. Nice atmosphere and very busy place. I recommend the "Indulgence Bento"

We stopped here while I was working at the University Feb 2019 based on TA reviews. Pulling in it feels a little strip mall warehousey , but after you experience the service, presentation and palatial-assault, I believe you ll agree they deserve a spot on the wharf!...

We always keep coming back to Chikos and take pride in bringing visitors here for lunch or dinner and they never failed us to serve good food and best service- !

Chikos is one of West Auckland great hidden Gems. Pinoy/Nippon influenced contemporary fare, at reasonable prices served by excellent staff.

Food awesome as always. Highly recommend the ribs!! The plum wine made by the owner is to due for ... try a double as having a single will just leave you wanting more. Probably the best place ever to dine out West!!

the food quality is just ok, the price is WAY TOO EXPENSIVE......for the same price, you can get a 3-Course-Meal with astonishing view on the Sky Tower

Amazing food...I had the Fresh fish of the day ( snapper ) and the best Agria chips like the best roast potatoes ever.. service 5 star.. also made up special drinks for children that where not on menu...very accommodating .highly recommend .... yummmmm
