Chidren's Discovery Musem Review

My 18mo loved the experience. I only wish we could have stayed longer. He was a bit jet lagged though and got tired, so we didn t really get to maximize the value for the cost to get there and back and purchase tickets. If there was an hourly price for families just visiting, to help offset that side of things, I d probably have given 5 stars.

Prices are steep and they don't give anything free (balloon, sticker, etc) for birthday kids. Museum itself is extraordinary and great for learning

An absolutely amazing place to take thekthe for a super fun day or playing and exploring. . . unless almy everything your kid wants to play with is closed due to healthcare precautions.

Fun place to beat the heat with the little ones - plenty of projects and things to do.

It was a great way to spend a morning with my 7 and 5 year old. Definitely too young for my 13 year old but we knew that going there.
Very creative and facilities are in great shape. My kiddos loved it and could have spent longer there.

Awesome place to take kids and get out all that energy

This place is seriously the coolest! My kids ages 10, 6, and 4 did not want to leave. I recommend eating before and bringing snacks with you for the kids. Prepare to spend 2 hrs at a minimum in here. Invest in the pogo pass for $39 to get free admission to this place and so many other attractions! I cannot wait to come back!

Very big and beautiful, recommended more for children 4 years and older, you really need 2 days for children to play well throughout the museum. Very clean, no food, just sandwiches.

Covid makes this place difficult! But that is not their fault! Its a great place for kids to learn and explore. All kids require a mask. Wich is good. If your kid will wear a mask! I dont like that they close at five p.m. My son takes a nap and wakes at 2:30 so by the time we get there its almost closing time.

Lots of variety and activities for any child's interest. There were plenty of opportunities for kids to create and then experiment with and take home.

I love this museum. We are members and I was worried my kids would get bored, but the events are always being updated. We spend at least three hours every time we go.

Amazing children's museum! We could spend a whole day there and still not do every thing there is! From water to excavation play areas and countless educational exhibits! The best part is a huge climbing playground that goes from the bottom to the top of the building (3 floors). We go Everytime we visit Vegas!

My grandson has autism and there are a couple things like the water room or the light bright pegs that makes even him happy....then in the building area he likes to sit next to the earthquake simulation because the vibration makes him laugh

This place is amazing! Hands down one of the best children's museum I've ever taken my child to. It's under $14 which to me, is a steel when in Boston, NYC they charge upwards of $25 per person. There are so many things to do, your child will be busy all day. Love coming here!

Great interacactive options for fun and learning. Large elevators accommodate strollers. One downfall is that there is a multi-level "cage" that kids love to play in, but it isn't accessible for anyone with physical challenges. A couple of the activity centers should be updated too. Other than that, the kids always have loads of fun here.

A lot of fun for all ages. Unfortunately covid has really impacted what was open and what you are able to do there. Seemed like half of the activities were closed but admission was still full price. Would definitely wait to go here until it is fully open.

Never a dull moment and the programs that they have for various families of different incomes and those who are visiting the area and those who are members it is just an all-around good place and donating to it and contributing to it is only contributing to more of what we need in this city in terms of fun ways to educate children

I have twins, a boy and a girl, who couldn't be different in their preferences for games and activities, but they both love Discovery Children's Museum as each finds his or her own favorite thing to do. We take pride in this recent, valuable family-oriented addition to our fabulous city!

This place is awesome! My son who is 6 years old and I both had a great time. We started on the 3rd floor and worked our way down to the 1st floor. There is so much to do and many activities for kids. When you first arrive I suggest you get a schedule of the different activities they have going on so you don't miss out on art projects or interactive activities they have scheduled throughout the day. If you choose to visit here I suggest making sure you stay for at least 4 hours and arrive early because the place gets packed.

I am 49 years old. Chaperoned with my nephew fro. Bennett elementary in Laughlin. Very very cool place. Next time my nephew comes from colorado im bringing him. Its awesome.

I'm a member of the children museum. My kids and I really like spending our time here.I think, It's the quality time in kids life. Friendly staffs are there and I think it's an educational playground. Membership registration fee is never wasteful.

Amazing but a bit pricey... but what isnt in Vegas ;)

Best thing we did on our first family trip to Vegas. I wish we had more time we didn't even make it to the 3rd floor because my child was having so much fun doing art projects, listening to stories being read, playing at water tables and playing pretend in the career exploration area it was awesome we are coming back for sure.

Awesome place for kids of all ages! So much to see you should consider a membership.

Fun enough for the kids, I guess, too crowded for my liking.

Fun evening and a great opportunity to help children of the Las Vegas Area

The staff are very helpful and friendly. There are a ton of science and art based activities for children of all ages to do. They have a small arts and craft activity each day (well, the days we've been there) that is only $3. It's fun and the kids like it. You can spend an entire day there and the time will fly. Perfect for very hot days. The membership is pricey up front, but definitely worth it.

My kids and I loved this place. It has fun educational stuff for all ages. I even love it here. My kids and I have a great time exploring all the different levels of fun here. You will not be bored and it is an all day fun adventure.

This place is meant for smaller kids my kids got bored right away but we are glad we visited at least once.

It's not easy finding anything in Las Vegas that's family and especially kid friendly. This museum is not like your typical walk around look don't touch museum, it's hands on everything. When I went I sat at a table that had more adults having fun with arts and craft then our kids. Needless to say, it's a fun for all venue and Las Vegas needs locations like this to being some type of culture for the local residents.

Excellent. This Chicago family is impressed! So much to learn and play. We came for a few hours before our flight back. Wish we had more time time. No food and drinks allowed inside, not sure how to bring a lunch. Parking was free!!! Go there! You won't be sorry.

My daughter had a lot of fun there. We came at 12:00 and she didn t want to leave until 18:00 (close). She loves going through the tunnels with all kinds of scientific toys. She loves bones and told me how to distinguish males and females and her reasons were surprised me.

Children love the Discovery Children's Museum! It is a large educational playground. After spending a few hours there, your kids will be exhausted.

My kids loved it... But it's pricey! $15 a person, kids also. They want you to purchase the membership that's $200 for a family for 4.. ... It's not all that for $200.. The hours Suck!! Come on closing is 5pm! On weekends...

Sam in the art n crafts department on the 2nd is the one of the main reasons why we go ...people like her, to have just passion for whatever they do....it just shows naturally...my daughter had a great time...I got to make time capsules material for my daughter...the last time she will be alone..she's expecting a brother in dec...so this was kind of an emotional time for my wife and i...

Good museum, a great sister museum to the Discovery Cube in Orange County

Great place for younger kids between 3 and 10. We saved money with our local museum membership. It actually cost us less than 4 ice creams on the strip so we'll worth it.

Loved it.. had to leave early because my daughter is Autistic and just got completely overwhelmed. Other than that completely recommend it

I went with my family and it was a lot of hands on activities. Had fun.

What an amazing place! The folks here are so kind and knowledgeable, and they have a discount program for EBT cardholders. My kids had the time of their lives. There's a playground, a mini water world (which is great for the summer), a toddler area, a pirate ship, and for the older kids: educational scientific areas, arts & crafts, and neat exhibits. I love that the Discovery Museum changes exhibits and holds events so there's something new to see/do on a frequent basis.

Absolutely loved this place!!!! Soooo much to do. Favorite place was probably the first floor. If you have you get children (toddler) then downstairs is the place for you with a water area and a toddler room. Although smaller children can still participate upstairs with the older kids. But upstairs is geared more for school aged kids. So much to do!!! If you're in Vegas you should check it out. 3 full floors of entertainment. You can reserve party rooms. And much more!!

This place had so many things to do , we had so much fun and the kids got to do alot of activities. Worth the price.

There is not a whole lot to do in there. They want you to buy tickets online, don t answer there phone so you can t ask questions to find out how much is open. Don t waste your time or money. They shouldn t be open

My kids love this place. BUT I have to admit that I have a lot of fun here too. There are always really cool things to look at and play with. I particularly enjoy the water works exhibit. I might have pushed a few kids out of the way who tried to mess up my creation. No I'm lying. There are season family passes available for around $90 to $100 and they come with guest passes as well. Truly worth the money for kids and adults who are still kids at heart (mostly dads.)

Very fun, educational, exciting, place for the whole family.
