Idk how to rate this because it's a pretty cool place and so much for kids to see and do and keep them entertained but the hrs are ridiculous especially for during the week when kids are in school and they close at 4pm?! Kids get out of school at 3pm...They should really think about adjusting the hrs. Plan to spend a loooong time here if you want your kids to see and do everything.

All I can say is bring your kids here!!

All I can say is bring your kids here!!

I have been to the previous one where it was on North Las Vegas Blvd. It is definitely a step up from the previous location. It's located right next to the Smith Center. It is right by the spaghetti bowl and close to the strip. Such easy access from the freeway. Parking here is super easy. At first I was scared when i approached the parking garage attached to the building since there was a ticket station but there is FREE parking. Especially with all the changes with paying to park at the strip and downtown.

The muesum is HUGE!! Soo much to do for kids. They have different types of exhibits ranging from language, music, science and art. Every couple of months the exhibits change which keeps it pretty fresh every time you go especially if you have a membership. They have a winding staircase that goes right through the middle of the whole museum and on every floor inside the staircase they have things for the kids to do. Beware as it can be tiring going up those stairs with smaller children but they do have an elevator to take you up and down those floors.

Every floor and every type of exhibits they have staff standing by, I never see that place a mess. And you think it would be with all those kids running around. They are very quick to clean up the station and to get it ready for the next set of kids coming around. They also are very informed on the stations they are in charge of. I find myself reading everything there and if I have any questions I can ask the staff and they actually know what to say or answer. I think it's funny because I enjoy the museum as much as the kids do. Now they do have a water exhibit as soon as you enter so some parents might want to avoid that one maybe till the very end just because your child might get wet. They do have cute little rain coats for the kids to wear but you know how kids could get around everything. I have come a couple times where some equipment is not working but by the time i come back it's up and running. They do have a small exhibit for toddlers and crawling babies. It's very stroller friendly on the floors also.

The best time to come are when everyone is at school which is usually Monday to Friday, the weekend seems to be usually their busiest times but if you show up as soon as they open then you might have a museum all to yourself until the rush comes.

The bathrooms are so family friendly I can take my two year old and five year old in the bathroom and the sinks are different level heights for me, my five year old and my two year old to reach. They are also very environmentally conscious and some of their exhibits will reflect that.

Between me and a couple family members we signed up for a multiple membership. So we get to take up to 10 people a day including the card holder. We signed up for our membership and December and we never got our cards in until March. They did say we were able to go to the museum and just present our IDs meanwhile we got the membership cards. And because of the inconvenience they cost they extended our membership a couple months which is very nice of them because they realize they drop the ball on giving us our membership cards three months late. This place is a great place to come especially when it's cold outside or too hot outside for the kids and you don't want them to be stuck in the house all day. After a couple times of using this membership it pays itself. It's so great for the kids to come and the house and unplug themselves and learn new things which I think is very important in a kid's development. Once my membership is up I will be signing up again. I can't wait to see what else does museum has in store for our city.

Days worth of exploring here. It's a great place to take the entire family and spend an hour, or the day. Every lap through this place showed me something I had missed previously as I chased my kids from station to station.

Awesome place. We did the elf on the shelf hunt and our kids live the activities and crafts.

For the place itself. It is very cool. Lots of fun stuff for the kids to do and learn, all while being active.

Very clean, very well done. The staff is friendly and helpful.

The play structure in the middle is awesome. Fun for the kids and stations for learning all over the place.

Great place to take the little ones, weekends can get extremely crowded and access to some rooms and features can be limited with lots of kids running around. Week days are much better without the masses.

Tons of activities for the kids. Good for kids ages 2-12. There aren't a lot of benches, so while the kids run and play the parents have to stand around most of the time. There's a wide variety of exhibits.

Great way to spend a wayyyyy too hot day. I took my 3 year old daughter here and there really are things to do for all age groups. We spent a few hours and it was great. I especially love that kids can do their own jobs, collect a pay cheque, deposit the cheque into an 'actual' ATM and then withdraw play money. Was a very cool concept. No restaurants on site. Can get busy.

We went there for a day with the kids, but there was much more fun, for adults, than expected. Toddlers could easily spend the whole day on the first floor, without being bored. Second and third floors had a lot of classic electronic hardware, with an emphasis on science, sleuthing, and art.

All in all, it was a pleasant and interesting experience. We'll be back.

This is a great place for children! It has everything that keeps children fascinated and active. All levels in the building have something: gadgets, wheels, crafts, experiments, play acting, water, dirt, dinosaurs, etc.

This was our first time to the museum and we had a blast. So many different things to participate in. We really enjoyed the hands on activities and how STEAM was incorporated. Anytime we travel I always try to find some sort of educational activities for my little one to participate in and this was fun for the both of us. Just get ready for lots of walking and climbing. Parents might also want to take a change of clothes if your little ones like to play in the water area.

Great place for kids. We spent a couple hours there and didn't even go through every thing in detail. Our 3 year old loved it. It's geared towards several age groups. Staff was friendly and it was really clean. Something at would definitely do again.

This is our second time at the museum. We specifically went to visit the "We are not alone" exhibit. It was a definitely worth the trip. My six year old loved seeing her favorite Star Wars character up and close. We were pleasantly surprised to see a small interactive play area that displayed the Raiders soon to be stadium. Overall, fun experience for our family.

Amazing staff!!! We came in on a day that is usually not busy but because of the holiday it was beyond packed. My nephew is autistic and just the volume of people there made him have a complete meltdown and had to leave 20 min later. The staff was understanding enough and issued us passes to come back another day. Thank you!!!

This was probably my 4th or 5th time here with my family. Due to the pandemic I understand some attractions will be shut down. So it was a bummer thay the best attraction was shut down. However the reason for the 2 stars is the fact that they REQUIRE 2 year and older to wear a mask. My nephew had just turned 2 (he is 25 months old) and wouldn't keep the mask on. After 30 minutes they kicked us out. There will multiple other children that were older then my nephew and were not told to put their mask on. We could see their parents holding the masks for them.

Fun place but be sure for tons of rules and the employees to follow you around. Be sure your kiddos are well over 5 year old to wear the mask too so you have no issues.

Very nice and clean space. Kind people work/volunteer there. Wish I had the money to donate for a bigger snack area, it seems parents take turns relaxing at the spot and families stop there to eat but there are very few tables and chairs. Someone needs to build a bigger dining area with better food options and more places for families to relax in between the floors.

The kids had a blast here! It was such a great experience with so much for them to do that my sister and niece have already gone back again a couple of weeks later. They have air filters setup on every floor which is fabulous when a virus is AIRBORNE :). The staff was friendly, we loved it.
