Got in and was told the wait was an hour, however we only waited 5 minutes and we were seated. Phenomenal customer service and even better food. Spicy chicken penne is by far my favorite. Would come again.

A wonderful birthday celebration! Delightful drinks, Chianti Grill sidecar and old fashioned. For dinner a burrata appetizer, pork medallions with masque choux corn, zuppa di pesce, and creme Brule for dessert! Karin, our server, was engaging and knowledgable about the menu!

Awesome restaurant. One of my favorites. If you are thinking pasta you can never go wrong here. Also have some really top notch steaks. Have great beers on tap and in cans/ bottles. Wine selection is extensive. Service staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Gladly go here anytime.

We went for a couple drinks, bar was full so took a seat in the dining area. Although it was happy hour, the dining area doesn't offer those prices even as we were seated 15 feet away. Think about changing that policy. :-)

The waiter was very amazing and helpful in helping us decide what we wanted to eat. When food coming the food taste said OK. Didn't like where we were seated would have have preferred a booth but was an asked where I wanted to be seated which was a little disappointing. But all over all amazing place would recommend it and would go again.

Salmon and shrimp was excellent... nice spice combination with asparagus on the side. Service was great for pickup...prompt and a friendly efficient person doing the transaction. Food was warm for immediate consumption.

Food was good and service was nice, but the restaurant was sweltering hot. Pricey but sophisticated, I would go back (in the cooler months). Portions are large and dinner entrees are served with soup or salad before. Bolognese sauce was very good.

Tasty food, and a classic atmosphere. Great for a date, kid-friendly enough for families. I would just say the food is a tad more expensive than I would expect, but it is a very nice dining experience otherwise.

I just went to Chianti Grill for the first time and it was amazing! I ordered the spicy chicken penne and it was delicious, and even better was the fact that it wasn't something I could just go out and get at any old Italian restaurant. It was unique! It was flavorful! It was delicious! I'd recommend this place to anyone. Great atmosphere, excellent food and wine menu, attentive servers, middle of the row prices, perfect for a date or business lunch.

Very nice interior. Spahgetti and Meatballs were really good. I didn't care for the bacon wrapped scallops, and the dessert was just average. But all the staff are very friendly and I would return.

Very well kept and convenient restaurant. They serve big portions and for economical prices. I liked the meals a lot and the staff were very attentive and explanatory. Will definitely recommend this spot.

Had the pork with chimichurri sauce and potatoes and my wife had the spicy pesto chicken pasta bowl. Both were really good. The service was very good also; wish I could give him some kudos, but a young male who helped us who had a great outgoing spirit. Can't wait to do brunch sometime!

I would pay any amount for great food and service! This place is always busy and can still provide great service. Always has flavorful food. Great atmosphere for any occasion. I recommend sitting by the fire.

Food was very underwhelming all the way from the bacon wrapped scallops to the Caesar salad to the lobster shrimp linguini, every dish had almost no flavor. How does a dish with cream, noodles and big pieces of lobster and shrimp have no taste, even the slightest seasoning along with some fresh garlic and onions would have made an amazing dish. Scallops had no coloring from a proper sear and the Caesar salad was a dismal display of 10 pieces of romaine, 3 croutons and a sprinkle of Parmesan, no dressing was evident.

It was unfortunate since the service and the atmosphere are solid and we really wanted to like it more... perhaps an off night in the kitchen.

Favorite Italian restaurant in the Twin Cities! Has been that way for over 30 years since they used to be Ciatis, When it was bought out and Became the chianti grill I was worried I would lose all my favorites but the spicy chicken penne is still my favorite dish hands down

Last week my family and I went to Chianti Grill to celebrate a family birthday. It was chosen for the excellent quality we had experienced before along with the terrific selection of entrees for the whole family. Appetizers we're great and I highly recommend the spicy tenderloin tips - they were excellent and had a great flavor profile.

Now, everything that I had experienced up until this point earned a 5 star rating, but what happened after we received our entrees cemented this restaurant in my mind as one of the best places to dine south of the river.

I had ordered the Filet Mignon for the entree which came with garlic mashed potatoes. Upon biting into the filet, I knew it was overcooked and there was a very strong flavor of grill charring on the outside. Don't get me wrong, I like a bit of char, but this was excessive. Upon mentioning to our server, she immediately apologized and took it back to the kitchen for a replacement filet. A few minutes later, the kitchen manager came out and apologized again, saying he saw exactly what I was talking about and agreed that the steak had been overcooked and said they were cooking up a new filet as we spoke. After the new filet came out (which was cooked perfectly by the way), the restaurant manager came over and checked in on the new filet and apologized again.

I am very happy with how they handled the situation and I totally understand that not every piece of meat will come out of the kitchen cooked perfectly. Very happy that the staff made everything right and honestly made the night better for all of us.

Cannot recommend this restaurant enough! All can find something on the menu for them and the service is impeccable. Can't wait to go back again.

Went there for brunch on Father's day. Had to make reservations as part of the Covid19 deal. Service was great and food came out in very timely. Crab cake benny was pretty good but fishier tasting then my liking. Potato's could've been cooked a little more but overall I liked the meal. The Sriracha sauce that they come out with has a really good kick to it, if you like spicy.

We love Chianti! The food is wonderful, the service is always nice, and the restaurant is very beautifully decorated! Our favorites are the Sunday brunch buffet (five stars on its own), the weekday lunch buffet (soup, salad, sandwich and flatbread), and their desserts (fabulous creme brulee, and tiramisu is also delicious)! I highly recommend signing up for their 'Bread Club' on your next visit to get coupons on your birthday and anniversary!

After dining at the Chianti Grill for almost 15 years, today's experience left me less than excited about going back. The people are great, our waitress was spectacular, but the food just isn't what it used to be. A few examples; the Caesar Salad lacked any kind of Caesar taste. The dressing is very bland and tasteless. The bread they offer is not a good quality Italian bread. Have noticed the last few times they have veered away from good old fashioned Italian bread. Found this bread to have a flavor that wasn't tasty. We dined at lunch time, which was very pleasant; our food was hot but not what I have been used to from the Chianti Grill; too salty and too much garlic. Being Italian, I may be overly critical, but also a little spoiled from having great meals at the Grill in the past. Step it up!
