The Easter panto was brilliant and enjoyed by all. We saw Peter Rabbit here as well, cheaper than the cinema.

Amazing I went for a Shakespeare's performance, very classy place.

What a really brilliant pantomime have been tonight with my daughter and we've really enjoyed it

The wobbly wanderers were here recently to see Hello Again The Neil Diamond Story act.
Pleased to say it was a good night .
The band were excellent along with the singer who was a great sound alike.
Good background videos made the show a good night out.
Only one spoiler.. the price of the drinks ..ouch!!!. (The recent renovations have to be paid for somehow !)

Beautiful old building full of art spirit. They do show movies and recorded ballet and opera. Nice sound, great picture. Cafe with nice coffee and affordable prices. Really nice and helpful staff. Great example when proper people on the proper place. Interior, outerior are stunning. Great theatre with lovely atmosphere and nice choice of plays.

Small theatre but large stage. I arrived before 18:30 so couldn't get in. They opened the doors to tell me to come back in 10 minutes! Jobsworth?
It was a miserable wet foggy night, surely they could have made an exception. Apart from that quite a nice theatre.

Brilliant experience. Years since I have been to watch a panto, loads of fun, kids thoroughly enjoyed it

Old theatre upgraded for modern times. I saw the film "Young Picasso" here. I hope the lack of people in attendance is due to me going on a weekday.

I recommend visiting on a day off from work when the atmosphere is relaxed and friendly. It is great to watch a film about a Young Picasso with a bunch of elderly people but it would be nice to have seen some budding artists in the crowd. Come along and bring your kids!

Took my little boy to see Cinderella last night Really enjoyed ourselves. I've not been to the Theatre in years so was a real treat. It's a lovely little theatre and the staff are very helpful.

Archaeology Day 13th January. We couldn't have been looked after any better anywhere. Lovely venue and super friendly staff.

Saw Jack and the Beanstalk panto most enjoyable , parking nearby , great entertainment loved by young and old .

Lovely old theatre and a good variety of shows and films

Bring back the old, retro and realistic. The Pomegranate offers vintage cinema viewing as well as theatrical performances.

Highly recommend a cinema viewing due to the retrospective quirkiness that you might relate to from the 70's to 80's.

Still part of a brilliant building that use to be an alchemy funded by the elite, which included George Stevenson.

I went to see a production of 'Our House' which was very good, performed by Chesterfield studios. My wife and I plus our boys enjoyed the show greatly.

Plenty of parking nearby. Comfy seating with a great view of the stage.

Its like going back in time, which is very good. Lived my experience here

Watched a lady vanishes and really enjoyed it.
I thought the set was awesome

Saw the Scary Bikers last night, Very funny and Brlliantly performed. Well done to all concerned.

We went for a showing of 'Mamma Mia Here We Go Again'. Films in the Pomegranate are much easier for us to go to rather than the trip to the multiplex cinema on Derby Road.

First time here to see Sooty's Magic Show. Got a nice bar area for food and drink. The threatre look lovely and the temperature was just right not too hot like the winding wheel. Seat was very comfortable. The show was fantastic... Wonderful to see my childhood and still my heroes Sooty, Sweep and Soo

Well done for such a brilliant pantomime that had everything a pantomime should have with good jokes, clear voices and great singing. My family of 4 adults, a 9 yr old and a 7 yr old really enjoyed every minute . XxJen Robson

Visited the winding wheel and it is very nice since it has been done up and very helpful staff.

Great place for theatre. Beautifully decorated. Most seats let you have a great view.

Easy to reach from railway station. Lovely theatre with good views from areas of seating. Only downside wad that drinks a bit pricey compared to other theatres. Will definitely visit again though.

My first ever Pantomime and I'm 65 thoroughly enjoyed it lots of laughs and special effects and clowning around compared to the cinema seats lots more comfortable and good wheelchair access if you need it just tell them

Nice and small Quante dated theatre a little short on seat space ok if you are small and no the person next to you!

Queue for loos awful at intermission as not enough loos and through the bar however the interior of the theatre is beautiful and comfy, easy access seats and clear view of stage

Lovely old threater, enjoyed our pantomime Peter Pan.

Fantastic pantomime absolutely had me, my husband and 2 kiddies giggling. Highly recommend! I wouldn't recommend getting balcony tickets unless you are under 5ft as the legroom is non-existent. And I mean NON EXISTANT it made what should have been 2 hrs of fun into 2 hrs of torture . Pay extra go on the ground!

Giovanni pernice was fab-u-lous x seating view was great

It was good but the card machine did not work for refreshments.
