Saw The Scarlet Pimpernel and thoroughly enjoyed it. Great script, well acted and the scene changes were well executed. A clean elegant theatre.

Cinderella panto at the Pomegranate was superb, one of funniest I have seen for some time. The local dancers and the whole casy were excellent. Well done everyone.
Naomi Wilkinson is absolutely lovely as Cinderella, though I have to agree with a professional critics' review that there was no chemestry with her and the Prince, Rhydian Roberts who seemed just a little uncomfortable.
The whole show was held together by the brilliant "Buttons", Josh Benson, who was a joy to watch.
Well worth seeing.
Wonderful
This old theatre is a gem and deserves to be used. We are so lucky to have it in Chesterfield. Recently improved disabled facilities and a cracking panto. Oh no it wasn't...Oh yes it was!
Went to see the Pantomime, Cinderella, here tonight had a fabulous evening, first class entertainment x
Beautiful theatre.... very spacious and magical xxxxx
Had a nice coffee in the bar before the show and Robin Windsor show was just brilliant could have watched it again sorry the theatre wasn't full.
Great venue for a variety of entertainment at value-for-money prices.
The theatre was quaint and oldy worldy. Don't sit on first 3 rows as you get a brick in you neck
Great leg room, pleasant staff and comfortable chairs
An excellent theatre with a diverse range of shows and performances. Doesn't yet except etickets on phones which is a little behind the times and wasteful for all involved.
Had circle seats which had plenty of leg room, saw a great touring show, in very nice intimate surroundings.
Lovely old theatre being used imaginatively shame about the cafe/bar not up to much.
Went with my daughter and family to the pantomime. We had good seats in the circle and really enjoyed it.
Absolutely lovely place. We bring the youth club children here every year to watch the Christmas panto. They all love it and go home with massive grins
I saw Andy Parsons here with my Fiancee, we both really enjoyed the show, the theatre was warm and cosy too :)
Lovely building and easy to get to. A very personal feel while watching the show. Comfy seats too.
Beautiful theatre, excellent shows and the staff are so helpful.
Brilliant pantomimes very funny. Nice polite staff overall experience was excellent
Fantastic little theatre. We will definitely be going again.
Lovely little theatre. The photo is actually the Winding Wheel but for some reason Google thinks it is the Pomegranate.
Went here for panto. The production was reasonable, not really my thing but the kids enjoyed it (which is what matters).
The seating however was very cramped where we were sitting, making the experience a bit uncomfortable for most of the adults in our group.
Excellent place to watch whichever panto is on that year with friendly and helpful staff. Other events that happen here are great too
Loved it leg room not the greatest buy had a great time
Beautiful theatre staff very pleasant and helpful. Will definitely come again
First time at the pomegranate had a great time with john chablis aka boycie .
Nice old theatre & it was warm some theatre's are cold. Great pantomime too
Loved the Panto: Cinderella, best one I've seen in years! Great venue
Brilliant
What a theatre should be
Fantastic old civic theatre. Always enjoy a visit no matter what I go to see
Socially-distanced performances and clear planning make for a good experience during these testing times. 'Dead Certain' was a tense drama played with a cast of two. A brilliant production.
Great for little ones, saw the very hungry caterpillar. Amazing production
Lovely old victorian theatre.
Great for family panto.
Went to see Downton Abbey here, plenty of leg room in the seats but the place was a little cold
Great show though the theatre bar is too expensive e with no good beer.
Lovely little theatre with accessible seating. child friendly screenings.
Excellent entertainment venue, plays, shows, singing, dancing, films. What's not to like.
Classic old theatre. Stalls seats raise nicely to offer good views of the stage. Bar and snacks priced OK.
Theatre is lovely seating comfortably I will be returning in future
Fab satellite showing of "every one talking about Jamie" lovely theatre lovely staff.
Good panto. Very nice & friendly staff. Lovely intimate theatre
I havnt been to the pomegranate theatre for a number of years .I have been to watch Cinderella with my daughter and my 3 year old grandaughter .What a show ! It was absolutely brilliant. Each and everyone of the cast was amazing. Thank you for a great night. One to remember.
Very good love the shows chesterfield operatic society do here .
Great variety of shows to suit all tastes. The oldest civic theatre in the country they also show films check the website to see what's on
Lovely evening watching,,in to the woods all done by chesterfield college students fantastic adaptation of a Disney production and very well done
Lovely small theatre that's kept it's victorian feel. Can always get in even last minute
The theatre is a lovely building and is atmospheric with it's original layout. The seats are quite tightly packed so an end seat is best if you have long legs. The staff at the theatre are all friendly and helpful. We were unable to make our original booking due to illness but were given the option to change our tickets although there is a charge for the facility. The manager dealt with this very promptly and we thoroughly enjoyed the performance with our 3 grandchildren aged 7,8 and 10.
Great old fashioned theatre, perfect venue for the artist. Would love to go again soon!
Jack and the beanstalk was great, never laughed so much in ages. Especially Simon xxx
Thw films they out on are excellent and live perfoemances durect from west end plus ballets trabsmitted. This venue is for everyone, local theatre groups, travelling professional live shows, pantomines and much more. A great asset for the local community.
Great little theatre/cinema, that deserves to be supported during these strange Covid times.
Probably more staff there, than customers.
