We went for a Rainiers game. The game itself was a blast and it was great that the stadium is not so big that you can walk all around it. Food options were great and prices were decent. The kid playground area was a nightmare, very Lord of the Flies. Way too overcrowded and big kids (10, 12 + in age) were climbing up and stomping on top of the little toddler play structure while littles were inside. That one thing was the only downside. Oh, that and the fact that the parking lot was full and we were directed to park at a lot around a mile away. Wish we had brought a stroller for our young kids. But this was our fault bc a friend said that she read on the website that parking does get full. Next time I will research the area also to see if there are closer lots if this happens or come prepared to walk and bring a stroller.

It was OK . Parking sucked. If you didn't get there like 3-4 hours before the game you had to scramble to find some place with out walking for a long distance and if you park at the park and ride it is pretty scary to walk back to at night.
Alot of variety of food bad variety of beer

I was in a party on the 3rd deck and it was hard to see what was happening unless u we're up at the railing, but it was to packed to fit up there so I don't even know what happened most of the game. Other then that food was good even thought they stopped serving the food 15mins after I got their.

Fun, Except When It Isn't

Fun, Except When It Isn't
My first experience with Cheney Stadium was when it was first built, and the first game I attended there was when the Major League San Francisco Giants took on their Pacific Coast League affiliate. A lot has changed since then. On the negative side,

I live in Reno, Nevada but I have family in Vancouver, Washington. My team is the Reno Aces and I have been to games when the Tacoma Rainiers played here in Reno. I was very impressed with them. My next trip I would love to go to cheney stadium when the Aces are there.

WOW WOW WOW

WOW WOW WOW

I am talking good old AMERICAN fun.

If you can find another place where I can let my kid run around (OUTSIDE) like the little animal he is; while I drink beer and eat restaurant quality food; you let me know.

Oh; and there is baseball.
You know what I'm talking about!
They have homeruns, peanuts, stealing bases, double plays and the seventh inning stretch.

I don't know oh you feel; but a childhood isn't complete without a conga line and fireworks.

$7.50 to get in
$2 tall can of beer

Great experience here watching the Rainiers play. The stadium is very clean and accessible. The parking is fairly poor. They close the parking lot down despite it being very open to parking pass holders only. The stadium has good food options and the prices are decent. The beer options are classically broad for the Pacific Northwest area. We went on thirsty Thursdays for cheap draft beer and Coors Lights. What a great deal. We enjoyed our experience and will definitely return.

This stadium is great. There are some restrooms and shops. Some events which are conducted during the game are interesting.
Even though it is a minor league, it is a baseball game that you can enjoy normally. Recommended

This was my one baseball game of the year and I'm so glad I went to the Rainier's. I got seats just off the left foul line for only 17$, can't beat that price! The crowd was so friendly and (relatively) sober. I really recommend catching a game here.

I think my favorite part was the organ! I really appreciated hearing actual classics beyond "Take Me Out To The Ball Game." I'm confused by modern sports need to pump hip hop out at every event, and thankfully this compulsion was absent from Cheney Stadium.

Thought it was strange at first to watch soccer at a baseball stadium. The seats are so close to the pitch. Go Reign!

The staff is super nice. From the security guards to the ticket office, and even the beer guy.

The only complaint I have. Do not get the nachos the meat was the worst I have ever had. Gristle all through the beef. Unedible. The stadium is beautiful and very clean. All seat have a great view.
