Cheney Stadium Review

Clean stadium, plenty of parking, friendly ushers. Fans are fun, and some diehards are really into it for Rainier's games. Prices for concessions are high, I expect high prices in Seattle but not necessarily Tacoma.

Unfortunately I lost my purse there and it was never turned in.

Summit Club on 3rd base side not good, go back to previous years.

Staff was awesome, was lucky enough to be a suite, and it was so much more than expected. Great view, great food and great experience. Awesome way to spend the evening.

I had not been to Cheney since the remodel. Wow! It is now an awesome place to watch baseball. Getting in and out was easy. Parking is much improved, especially if you have a "handicap" sticker. I will be back often and will invite folks to join me.

Fun place for all ages, great Friday night fireworks

This stadium is beautiful and at night you can take some amazing photos! I love that they are so supportive of the U.S. Military! The soccer games are just so amazing to watch!!

Not a huge stadium but some pretty good food and the chairs are not bad. It was comfortable. There are also party areas for large groups or families.

Nice place. All seats are really close to the field. I went there to watch a Reign FC soccer game and I was surprised. I spent half-time in the higher bar, that also has a pretty cool view of the field.

Good park but did not see a single vendor . Must not be used here. I could do without the give music but a great small ball park feel .

Seats aren't comfortable. It's difficult to get to your seat if it's not on the aisle. Hot dogs are boiled until there is no flavor left. Ivars salad with salmon was yummy.

Best seats in all of baseball at any level. Every one close to the action. Great food and LOTS of craft beers. Fantastic time for everyone.

Had a non-baseball related event on the 3rd level "Summit Room" and all I can say is that this park is one of the better minor league parks out there. The staff was very friendly and it's an incredibly well-kept park in comparison to others. Can't wait to come to a game when the season starts

Very busy most of the time, but has much potential. If you enjoy baseball, you should check it out!

A lovely stadium with good food, and some not so good. They do fireworks on Friday nights. A good place to spend a summer evening.

POOR service, RUDE management. We got 8 club level tickets to watch a game and have a good time. Upon getting checked in and bracelets for drinking I was informed that my "vertical license" wasn't accepted...weird its accepts everywhere else in the world. I have looked through their T&Cs and there was no mention of this rule. I asked to speak to a manager and a supervisor came to speak with me. He was Extremely rude and unwilling to help even though I HAD A VALID LICENSE. We were told multiple lies during the whole ordeal and I ended having to drive all the way home to get my passport. When I returned it turns out they called the police to have me escorted from the building...why I do not know I was cool and collected the whole time. I definitely will not be returning and I will tell all my friends and family to do the same. Very unprofessional, don't expect to receive service that is good when you go here, and don't expect a refund even when they have messed up.

Good seats and excellent fireworks... just wish the beverages not so insanely expensive... $12 for one beer??? Other than that, great time.

There are days in the winter when I long for summer. I almost ache for it as I daydream of blue skies, warm sun, a cool breeze, and Cheney Stadium. This is where summer lives. This is where I take my kids to watch a game. We sit on the berm and soak it all in. The noises, the smells, the sun; they're all parts of what makes Cheney Stadium the place I go when I think of summer. I have only happy memories here. I love that it's on a major bus line (PT Route 2, for those who want to know). I love that parking is reasonable. I love that you can park, pay for two tickets, and get peanuts, a beer and brat for the same price as a single Mariners' ticket. The community here is amazing. These are my neighbors. The people who work here are members of my community. This is R house.

Very personable stadium. This is a smaller ballpark allowing for a more intimate feel of the game. Still fits thousands though so enough space for the home crowd. Only wish is for a few more food choices.

I was supposed to go to a baseball game here once as a "meeting" for work but instead someone didn't show up to work at the store I was running and I had to work instead of going to the "meeting" (game). This review is not indicative of the quality of this establishment. It is more a reflection of my disappointment of not getting to go out to the ball game.

Everything you would expect from a world class stadium at a third of the price. A truly great place to see great soccer - go Reign FC!!

Great AAA baseball stadium. Fun atmosphere, a good way to have an enjoyable afternoon outside in the sun.

Good old baseball fun in a great environment. The stadium has had huge upgrades since I lived here back in 2012. The fireworks after the game were an awesome surprise and was actually a really impressive display. Only reason I don't rate it a 5 is because I found the parking slightly irritating. It cost $10 to park near the stadium, which I didn't know beforehand and was lucky to have the cash. In addition, there were no clear signs until the last second, nor was there mention that free parking could be obtained just a bit further down the road.

This is such a beautiful Stadium with a friendly and helpful staff and an energetic baseball team! The children's play area was a pretty good size with a soft rubber matting. We received tickets to the USO suite and the staff who provided service along with Ruhbard were so sweet and very inviting. I would definitely come back for another game.

All the magic of SafeCo field into a smaller venue with hometown charm and hometown pricing. Go Rainier's!

Great place to watch a game with the amazing Tacoma Rainiers. The management has done great things to this place. It seems that there are improvements every year. Tickets are inexpensive, and the play of the game is just in front of you. Another added benefit is the option to get a ride if you have had too much to drink, haven't seen this great idea in any other establishment in Tacoma, so good on them.

Cheney is a nice spot to catch some minor league baseball. Easy access to the freeway. Some good concessions. And if you can get summit club and the free beer it brings, it's an excellent deal.

4 minutes from home and a great place to watch a ballgame!
