Absolutely wonderful staff ! Very kind and respectful! I called to get quotes on an apartment.. and just by a couple minute conversation I can tell that Chelsea Place will be a great place to live .

After a couple of months my apartment is all right, the office staff are nice and prompt. The grounds are kept well, now the pool needs to open and I'll be really happy.
I've been living at Chelsea place for a year now and i've had the best experience. I have nothing bad to say about the apartments. The upgraded apartments look great! Every time i put in a maintenance request they're fix it within hours or the very next day. They are very helpful when i have called. They keep the property very clean and well kept. I feel safe here.
DON T do it!!!! The apartments look nice but after you move in you realize it s filled with nothing but roaches and mice! I have went to the office multiple times about the roaches! They always send over pest control and his fix for everything is sticky traps!!! Then he tells me it s due to the mulch in front of the buildings... I talk to the property manager about the roaches and she acts like she is oblivious to the problem. I know I m not the only one with this problem just from reading these reviews. The office is always hosting events for the Chelsea place community but how about less money into social events and more into the roach and mice problem. It s to the point I m scared to leave my house after dark in fear that I might let one in! They always say well once it gets cold they will go away . Yea but it will always get hot again it s called seasons!
My fiancee and I lived here for just under 2 years and I am so glad that we chose this complex over others that we were looking into. The unit was clean and all appliances and fixtures worked great. Maintenance requests were always handled professionally and promptly. Office staff was friendly and helpful most of the time, with some exceptions, but you will find that just about everywhere you go.
The location was awesome, as it is right next to Kroger. It was about a 2 minute walk from my apartment door. I had an obnoxious neighbor that lived in the unit below me that would play loud music very early in the morning. A good few stomps on the floor put and end to that, and luckily the person was gone in about a month. Not sure if they were kicked out by the management or what, but good riddance. All other neighbors were pleasant or just kept to themselves.
The complex itself was always clean and well-kept. The grass was always maintained and there is a really nice walking path that surrounds a lake on the grounds. It always had a very "safe and comfortable" feel to it. It didn't have the "college party house" atmosphere that some of the other apartments seemed to have. Which was great for me, but if that's what you're looking for, then I recommend going somewhere else, bro.
Overall, I am very satisfied with my time at Chelsea Place. If for some crazy reason I ever moved back to M'boro, I'd definitely be moving back in here.
Chelsea Place was beautiful to look at but I, a black woman, went swimming with a group of co-workers yesterday provided by a resident. Everything was fine and fun until a maintenance man walked up to us and asked if we had a pass. We told him we were with the resident just celebrating. We had no food, no music, just us. Only a hand full were at just a steps. No one was even completely in the pool. No one at the pool was in their either. Most people were later out on chairs. A white woman said that we were a disturbance and then the man said he believes there is only two people per pass. She egged it on and he went to the office came back and asked us to leave. He didn't ask anyone else in the pool area for their passes. Only us African Americans. And when we told him we were with the (white male) resident he went to confirm as if we were lying. There were also two little black boys walking around the pool whom was not with us. The maintenance man asked them to leave as well when they are residents. Only asking them assuming they were with us becaus they were black. It is distasteful and I will never return.
One of the worst they said they will give me conditional lease as I do not have any credit history (condition was $450 non refundable) I did not had any bad credit history but may be those guys wanted money. its 1980 old apartments So I got apartment at new place which 2014 build up way better than this.
This is a great complex! Just moved to Murfreesboro a few weeks ago and everyone, including the staff, has made me feel very welcome. They are very friendly.
Have lived here 10 years this May! Wow, has it been that long already? It is such a quiet place to live yet in the downtown heart of the Boro. The pond, the ducks, turtles, the trails, and the landscaping are some of my favorite things. The dog park is the best with amazing equipment for the dogs to exercise on. Maintenance is super fast and the office efficient. I have seen SOOO many positive changes in these ten years....and don't forget the community gardens.....lettuce and herbs galore...also, a fantastic outdoors kitchen...and the pool is upgraded this year....I'm sure gonna miss it come September when my lease is up....:-)
It was not a wise choice for us to live Here. Neighbors are too loud, the building is too old to offer us a comfort 'home'. Honestly, their maintenance crews are pretty nice and would like to help a lot.
Everything s pretty cool here, a bit pricey for what you get and oh let s not forget, infested with spiders. Everytime you look up, it s a spider on your wall or in your kitchen lights. Smh.
I've been at Chelsea Place a little over a year now. The atmosphere is great and the staff is wonderful. There is an apartment life team that holds monthly events, which typically includes free food and some other fun activity. It is a great way to meet people and again the staff is so wonderful! It is super quiet here and there are lots of things to do outside. I would definitely recommend it :)
This is a horrible location. Reviews are inflated by staff, and negative reviews on facebook are blocked or hidden, so I'm coming here. This is a place with fake cheery staff, who change into horrible uncaring people once the lease is signed. They did a bait and switch on us (showed a wonderful apartment and then gave us a horrible, broken down one). It is filled with mold, mice, spiders, and roaches. Don't be fooled by their renovations. When we moved out, we saw them renovating an apartment next to ours. That granite looking counter top is nothing but a sheet of paper draped over plywood counter tops. The cabinets, doors, and trim had been painted over so many times that the design started losing it's shape. Management comments on facebook reviews and then blocks you from commenting back. Their reply is usually demeaning and insulting, and I think it's very telling that they would post that on such a public forum. Moral of the story is, don't be fooled by fake flattery and deceptive living quarters and MOVE SOMEWHERE ELSE!
Love this apartment complex! I absolutely love taking advantage of all the wonderful amenities. I love roller skating around the parking lots, playing tennis at the tennis court, and swimming in the pool.
The apartment life team is amazing. The events are always so organized. As well as fun. Love all of their events as well as the family friendly atmosphere.
I lived here for 2 years. Beautiful complex with friendly staff and knowledgeable maintenance. Quietest apartment complex I lived in over the last 8 years. Only reason I moved out was I bought a house. I would have stayed longer otherwise.
This is my home and I've got a beautiful apartment. Everything is new and clean. This is where I want to be. You should probably see this place if you love Murfreesboro.
The communication here is so poor. I tried applying for an apartment here last week and told the lady that I just started a new job so i won t have any paystubs at the time. She told me that I can either have my paystubs or an offer letter from my job. I contact my job and they told me that the apartment has to send them a form. I emailed whoever and asked them for the form, the person then said that they can email me an employment verification form and it has to be sent in WITH my paystubs... which i repeatedly said i don t have yet. I never got the employment verification form which she said she was going to send nor any other response. Maybe that s just a sign that i don t need to live in these apartments. I also paid $65 for my application fee. It s like they just get you to apply, take your money and stop helping you.
I have been living at Chelsea Place for a little over a month now and I love it. I have plenty of space for me and my dog. The office staff is so kind and helpful! Definitely would recommend living here.
I do not regret my decision. The staff were always professional, always reasonable (they run a business not a convenience store). The maintenance was always responded to in a timely manor and I never had any problems with them. The community feel was great, had a free ice cream day and pizza day, they do stuff to help you be social if you like that. So, I seen a few comments about mice and roaches... I never seen any mice nor any traces of mice in my apartment. Yes, I did see roaches maybe like 15 total in a 7 month time span. The ones I seen were wood roaches, which can get pretty big in comparison to the small black ones BUT, I only saw them everyone once in a while as I stated above and saw more in the winter then the summer. Everytime I saw one I would put in a request for the pest guy. My opinion on others rants about it (not that it matters) is you need to know your limits, know that there will always be a possibility of roaches no matter where you go, they live in the world. Know that your choice in where your apartment is located is a key attribute wether or not you are more likely to see little critters, wether you are up stairs, downstairs, more towards the road, further inside the complex, just be smart about it. And lastly, your cleanliness is a big factor. Don't leave food out on the counters (i.e. leftovers) clean up juice spills etc. And it never hurts to hound the front office with pest guy requests. Oh, here is a major negative, which I hate to write but I'd rather inform then not. ... My husbands car was broken into twice. We lost a few items, mostly technological items, nothing of extreme value. After talking to a local police officer, we discovered theres always that one person in each apartment complex that goes around looking for unlocked doors. Needless to say always lock your cars. Again, overall I loved living at Chelsea place! Close to the university, quite, conveniently located.
I wish Google allowed zero stars. Since the "property managers" Mary and Susan refuse to do anything competent about the situation, please let me warn you NOT TO MOVE HERE. I have been reaching out to them regarding the mold situation in my daughter's apartment (with the husband and my grandbabies). I've reviewed all her documentation; as well, I ve had a global risk assessor that specializes in these cases pore through her photos and other intel. I've also had her show me video of the area around her building. I now see the drainage issues, the vents that were covered up by mud via rains that created a moisture-rich environment in the pier and beam plenum under the building. I can easily tell that, along with the damage to the siding (holes, warped planks) that there is moisture in the wall cavities along the exterior framing and at the bottom plate of the exterior walls at spots, creating a mold environment that WILL continue unless thoroughly treated inside the walls. I am in contact with the city regarding this as well as other entities, I will continue to pursue remedies on her behalf until they let a licensed professional DO THEIR JOB instead of bringing out contract work that has to ignore their own expertise and recommendations to do WHAT THE INEXPERIENCED AND NON-MOLD-REMEDIATION-CERTIFIED PROPERTY STAFF TELLS THEM TO DO TO COVER UP AN UNHEALTHY ISSUE. Instead, these folks will lie (we've caught them countless times), make excuses that make no sense whatsoever, and perform useless cover-up work to avoid dealing with true problems, and have no interest in the actual solution that would fix the matter because they only want their rent and no part of paying for needed remedies. STAY AWAY FROM THESE PEOPLE. UPDATE: They are covering up the problem. They are not CORRECTING the problem, because that would entail cost expenditures that they simply do not want to spend. They need to open the walls and remediate the mold problem IN FULL. Spraying bleach and cleaning carpets is again simply superficial and not at all what the licensed professionals on site (whom I have spoken with) would do at all - they are unfortunately NOT ALLOWED TO DO AS THEY WOULD IN AN EVENT OF THIS NATURE BECAUSE THE OWNERSHIP IS DIRECTING THEIR ACTIONS RATHER THAN TRUSTING THEM TO DO FULL INVESTIGATION. Even the city is confused at how this is being handled, so your response is simply based on the refusal to attack the issue in the proper manner. Nice try but sticking in the family in a hotel (thereby creating more havoc on their life) while wasting time that could be spent on REMEDIATION is pointless and shameful. PHOTOS NOW ATTACHED.
This is one money hungry apartment complex. My roommate and I lived there 10 months and paid every bill and rent payment on time. We moved out not even a month ago because it s overpriced and I don t care for the area. I get a call from a collections agency yesterday saying that I owe Chelsea Place $115 for cleaning fees. Come to find out $90 was for a power wash carpet clean and $25 was for a flea treatment. When we moved in, the carpet was already disgusting *hand to God* and had old stains. I can understand about the fleas but we paid $600 in a non-refundable pet deposit. Where did that money go?
Chelsea Place emailed me about this bill 2 weeks ago and has already sent it to the credit bureau. Gave me no time to come up with the money. I ve paid every last dime to that overpriced and overrated complex. This little deal you have with the collections agency is cute CP, but just know I see right through it. At least you re not a unique apartment complex in this greedy venture. If you re moving into Chelsea Place be prepared to bring a fat wallet and expect it to be drained quite quickly. Good day.
I've been here since January 2019. So far my experience has been good. The staff is friendly and very helpful and my apartment is clean and bug free. The grounds are kept up nicely and everything looks a lot cleaner than most apartments I looked at.
Although I didn't rent here I did do a tour . The office folks seemed professional . The apartments are pretty (all remodeled) The community is huge and the property is beautiful .
How in the world does this place get good ratings?! It's one of the worst communities in the area. Although, for this side of town, one of the nicer. Maybe that's the problem, the lowered expectations of the tenant demographic. Their service and quality would never fly in a more upscale community. They are going through a remodel process as the units become vacant but the work/material is still lower quality and certainly less than you'd find in newer communities like 3343 Memorial Apts. The maintenance men are minimalists and only do what they need to mark the tickets as completed, even if it means you have to submit another ticket a week later. And the main pool by the clubhouse/leasing office is locked up for "Maintenance" way too often. It's as if they try to keep it presentable for potential renters by keeping tenants from using it. And even when it is open the lock takes 5-10 minutes to open. They keep telling us it's the key but then they've replaced our key 4 times this Summer already. It's only Mid-July and my 2nd floor apt A/C can't get us lower than 79 degrees inside. And that's only as long as we don't open the front door to go in and out. One of my downstairs neighbors smokes pot about every week and you can smell it. Though sometimes the local skunk seems to drown out the smell with it's own. (The skunk smell doesn't bother me). And every once in a while, (about three times since I moved in 6 months ago) you get a live show of police to watch, like two weeks ago when four police went running across the grass outside my balcony door towards one of the other buildings. I hate this place and have seriously contemplated breaking my lease.
We LOVE Chelsea Place! I ve lived here for over 6 years now, and we ve enjoyed every second of it! The neighbors are nice and friendly, the grounds are kept beautiful, we can grille out or go to the pool anytime, and we love taking our dog on long walks around the apartment complex! We ve lived in multiple apartment buildings here and each time Leah has been such a huge help! Thank you Chelsea Place!!
***ive updated the bottom of this reveiw*** ***please read it, newcomers need to know!!** It was okay aside from the constant case of Brown recluse spiders (caught five on a sticky pad in a month!) and the roaches which i didnt have before i moved in. Now i have new neighbors under me and they constantly have loud music playing all through the night and their smoking weed and its somehow coming up into my apartment.. I wish i could move out but i have six months left. *They get say there is nothing they can do about the Brown recluse spiders*
***update after the office commented on this review***
Obviously they are trying to make themselves look good lol..what a laugh!!!
Thay had me know that there was nothing they could do about the brown recluses and that all of the old apartments has them in it.. And be prepared to get your end of lease notice at exactly 60 days before your moveout, which coincidently is when you have to give your moveout notice or pay them more money -_-.. So lets hope you arnt outta town. Worst apartments i have ever lived in, and ive lived in some crappy aparments. And my frat boy type neighbours under me were still very loud and d-bags still doing drugs and i had to endure the awful smell and endure their unreasonable noise and the office Did NOTHING... Mold regularly grows on the corner of the walls..there are cracks everywhere on the walls as well.. They even paint the bathtub with white paint to make it look new again, i ask in the beginning for a new garbage disposal that they claimed was new and recently stopped working and died out, i got an accent wall that was pa8nted as if the people didnt give a darn and asked for it to be repainted and they didnt..or wouldnt. They gave me the carpet from the previous renters which had animal hair in it and dog food hidden in the corners of the apartment..believe me, i always vaccum before i move in..and from the start, the dish washer stunk and didnt work properly. ...please, please just do yourself a favor and rent a house or go to some other apartments. I wish i could give them negative five stars.. Bunch of money hungry lieing rude ignorant inconsiderate people in the office..
They only way they are going to make up for this bs is to give me my last month rent deposit back.. If not.. We are gonna have a serious problem.. Everything is the way it was when i moved in.
I would like to say that the events team here are awesome .I would like to say that the events director Heather does a great job organizing events an making them family friendly.
I love it here! I have lived in Chelsea Place for about a month. The property managers are so helpful and amazing. They are understanding and personable. Maintenance fixes any issues immediately. The daily trash pick up is also something I did not think I needed but is very helpful. I have walked the property on the trial several times but have not been in to the pool or gym due to COVID. I love this place!
I'll start by saying they are definitely overpriced. Almost $900 for a one bedroom. Really should have shopped around more before deciding to move in, thats my fault. If you work second shift or frequently arrive home after 10pm, you're better off parking at Kroger across the street. (Don't believe me? Drive the lot for yourself after 10pm.) Nevermind the fact that there are only about 40 unoccupied handicaped spaces 24/7 not being used. Of course, no one else can use these, regardless if the rest of the lot is full, because you will still get a fine. Speaking of, they will fine you to death. Let us in on this day, whatever time we want, or get a rescheduling fine. Don't leave anythings outside your door or get a cleanup fine. The dumpster can be overflowing, but if you put things next to it, it's considered dumping and you can get a dumping fine. Pest control may as well spray water. After the 2nd time they sprayed, we continuing to get ants, roaches and, a few other weird looking bugs. We finally went out and foam filled all the holes in the walls ourselves to stop them from getting in and laid down some Raid to keep pests away. I will NEVER renew a lease here. Save yourself some money and headaches and choose from one of the other 30 apartment complexes on this side of town alone. I really wish I had.
This place looks good ,but some people who live here persist in watching TV loudly and playing it whole night in the bedroom! It's a terrible thing for a new resident who just moved in here in July, and this thing has not be solved till now. I feel so disappionted about here.
Chelsea Place is hands down the best apartment complex in Murfreesboro! After touring multiple apartments in the area, Chelsea Place had the best customer service around. Every single lady in the office was so nice and attentive. They are the real deal. The apartments are gorgeous and tons of amenities to take advantage of.
Chelsea place is amazing. They re one of the more affordable places in Murfreesboro and have updated appliances. They have lots of community events and are very good at communicating with residents.
We've only been at this apartment for a month.... and boy are there problems. It started with the bugs.... roaches, spiders, flies, ants, everywhere. I found out they were crawling in from the A/C unit and called the office. They had "forgotten" to put a seal around the A/C so the bugs wouldn't crawl in. The A/C also hadn't turned off for a solid two weeks, so they sent a tech to come and fix it. He tinkered with it and left but it never got fixed. I called again and they finally just gave us a new A/C unit. It's 1 week later and now its leaking water all over the floor and there's water damage in the walls around the unit. Neither of us were home but still called and they said they'd send someone right away. Come home and there's still water all over the floor and never got fixed. I'm not one to get all impatient but I'm getting fed up with this. I could handle all this if it weren't so expensive. It's a falling apart 1 bedroom with no dishwasher, dryer, OR washer. THERES NOT EVEN AN ELECTRICAL OUTLET IN THE BATHROOM...... we have to shave and dry our hair in the kitchen. All of this for 820 DOLLARS A MONTH..... Along with an extra $820 non-refundable fee due at move-in... Costed us over 1.5k just to move in.... absolute scam. Do Not Rent their one bedrooms. Their only good perks are the pools and fitness center. Laundry Facility is garbage. As I said this apartment would be okay if it weren't so expensive. It's worth MAYBE 700 a month..... if that. 11 months to go.............. wish us luck..
I've been at Chelsea Place for about 3 months now. Looking back I wish I would have done a 6 month lease rather than a year. The staff is extremely rude and very unhelpful. Nothing seems to be organized on their end. The apartment itself is way over priced for the amount of square footage. You can easily tell they just tried to clean up trash with these renovations. Door handles have constantly fallen off the doors until I took it upon myself to put them on correctly. There are roaches everywhere. It's honestly just pitiful and for the price (nearly $900 a month) I and anyone else can find much much better. Before moving in i disregarded the negative reviews and chose to believe all the positive reviews. Well, now I see the negative reviews dont lie.
I love living here, it is affordable for a single guy like me, the residents are very friendly and the office staff is simply awesome. If you are looking for quiet and nice, Chelsea is your place...
I love living at Chelsea Place and all the perks that comes with being a resident here! From the fire pit areas- to the peaceful pond: this place is an escape right in the middle of the city. Close to everything-- just a short drive to the avenue and mile run to the square for the Saturday Market. The staff is courteous and always smiling. Great sense of community and I feel like the management really cares. Would highly recommend to anyone looking in the Murfreesboro area!
(Original Review: 2 stars) (Updated Review: 4 stars--Update at bottom of review.)
I m giving the place two stars because I recently moved here with the intention of paying my rent on time, abiding by my lease agreement, and minding my own business. Unfortunately, I moved into an apartment that had fleas, and I do not (nor have I ever) owned a pet and I never had fleas prior to this incident. I freak out around large numbers of insects indoors so I tend to obsessively clean everything. I am very disappointed since I originally had higher hopes, but to spend money on several sprays and powders to combat the issue in addition to paying my rent simply seems unjust. So it s left me seeing this as a lose-lose situation. In their defense, pest control came to spray a few days after I noticed the fleas in the carpet and on the clothes that I was wearing. I m still out of the money that I spent to combat the issue until pest control arrived and the money that I have to spend to wash the bagged clothing that may have fleas. Overall, take this review at face value as everyone s situation is different.
I do my best to be understanding since some things are out of our human control, but I am hoping that things improve because sorrys don t pay bills or provide peace of mind. I don t enjoy writing negative reviews because I like to see fair and just companies thrive...especially when they work hard to maintain a certain image and high standards of customer service. If anyone would like to contact me directly, I m more than open to discuss this with someone in order to make things at least somewhat right. In the future, I d be more than happy to write a good review when I have one.
UPDATE: The Community Director was extremely helpful, and I feel that she put forth genuine effort to reach a real resolution. Although my situation was unfortunate, I am satisfied with the overall outcome.
So I made a review months ago. Staff called and "tried" to resolve the problem but this place is just as bad. The ROACHES and SPIDERS are non stop. I even went and bought certain bug spray but no they swarm around your doors and it's NASTY! Oh and the dog park has fleas! A "renovated" apartment but floors are coming up. Called maintence to fix one of my blinds becuase it broke and he turned it upside down and said this will work. It's just a horrible place to live. All the staff are ditzy blondes who don't really care about your problems nor do they want to help. It's more of a I want your money type of thing. Do what you want but I DO NOT suggest living here! I will forever turn people away from this place.
No. Just no. Don't do it. I honestly was so excited when moving here because it was my "first apartment" but it has been awful. First off I was promised a washer and dryer in my unit and come to find out there isn't even hook ups in my apartment. Second the nasty roaches are so bad. I'm such a clean person but if one person has them around you, you as well with have them. Every night I leave for work they are swarming downstairs around the door below my apartment. It's honestly disgusting. When my lease it up I will not be resigning. My roommate and I are completely dissatisfied.
We are new residents and a month into our lease. We are in love with our apartment! The complex has amazing amenities from a pool, to walking trails to play areas to a dog park. It s the most pet friendly community we ve ever lived in. The office staff almost loved our puppy as much as we did. Apartment was spotless on move-in and it s been perfect ever since.
This is a very disappointing place to live if you are a business professional, ensure that you really read the lease closely as this place charges an insane amount to break the lease. I am being relocated by my company and I have been told that I have to give a 60 day notice which I just found out that I have to move so that is two months more rent plus I have to pay two months of a break lease. Also noting you will pay Market Value on what the apartment is worth and not what you are paying. I have had to move for many company positions and they have always worked with me since I had to relocate and it is usually first and last month rent not having to pay close to $6000. After talking with someone in the office and them telling me that they would send me an email about so I could fill out the 60 day (didn't get this by the way) I was told this is the policy and that no one else is able to speak about this but that I could turn my keys in at any time, I ask why so you can over charge me and then have someone else move in and you can double up. Looks pretty greedy overall, this is not a place I would recommend to live, I still haven't even had the repairs fixed from when I had moved in many months ago. So if there is a chance you may have to move for your job stay clear of this company. Also tried to use the website to give the 60 day notice and could only email the manager as I was trying to rent from them so this is also my 60 day notice to this greedy company.
Terrible place to live, all of the employee's are rude, and will lie to you just to get you to move in.. (falsifying information) They tell you that their apartments run on market and fluctuate daily meaning one day their apartments may be 700 another day it may be 800 another day. They don't come and spray on the days there are schedule, they don't come and put new air filters in on the days they are schedule.. They wouldnt give me a new stove when the one I had almost caught the whole apartment on fire they told me I would have to pay to get one because they were renovating after we moved. Your not going to get deposit back and don't be surprised if they ask for more money for when your lease is up. They won't fix anything we had broken cabinets when we moved in. The maintenance crew tried repairing them but they ended up being worst then before. For this being my first apartment this was the worst decision I made. The apartments aren't worth what your going to pay.
Chelsea Place is a pretty good place to live, for city living. The grounds are well kept and the staff is always cheerful and always willing to help in any way they can.. I really enjoy the swimming pools and my grandson has a lot of fun going fishing and feeding the fish and the turtles. A big favorite is visiting the office and getting a cookie.
I went with a friend that had an appointment to view a few apartments with Alex, as soon as we walked into the office Alex was very warm & friendly. Alex stood up & greeted my friend & I & made us feel right at home. Alex immediately asked my friend her particular needs & wants for her new home & then showed her the floor plans, went over the rates & any specials. Alex then showed us 3 different floor plans & showed us all the amenities on the way as well as explaining their resident events. I was blown away with her knowledge of the apartment community & how she took her time to ask my friend all the questions of her needs & opinion regarding her new home. I am a property manager & of course Alex didn t know. I was so impressed with the tour that she had me wanting to move in & I don t need a place. I recommend Chelsea Place Apartments & ask for ALEX!!! Thank you again for helping my friend & GREAT JOB!!!!! With all of this craziness in this world, I really needed that!
These apartments are gorgeous from the outside. Upon moving in, a plethora of issues started to emerge: The shower heads were clogged, but a day of being left in vinegar solved that issues. The plumbing is terrible. Toilets and showers get clogged constantly, and the drains do an awful job of draining properly. There is NO SECURITY!! There is absolutely zero security officers on site, and zero security cameras. My girlfriend s vehicle was broken into TWICE in 6 months. My car was broken into that same night the first time. There was a group of kids that almost got hit and the guy driving got out and pulled a gun on them, and he hadn t been caught at all. My car was totaled and sat in the far end of the parking lot for a week while it was waiting for insurance to come get it, and I let the home office know that it was there. They still towed the car and I lost money from my insurance check because of it. The home office has no security to protect their tenants but the maintenance will do whatever they can to watch tenants and tell the home office if there s money to be had. This apartment complex is money hungry and greedy, and doesn t care about their tenants. They re overpriced and low quality apartments. Don t move in here at all. These are awful apartments. If I could rate these with 0 stars I would.
i love chelsea place!! they always have something going on and its a quiet community.they always take of my needs asap and the couple that runs the events are so nice and always make you feel apart of the famm
Chelsea place apartments are the best in Murfreesboro! They are the friendliest staff around, always knowing how to put a smile on your face. They truly care about their residents and are very very appealing. This is THE place to live if you want to find great staff and great people.
This place is so great. Super updated awesome apartments and the staff is amazing. You can tell they really care about every one of their residents! Best apartment complex in Murfreesboro. I can see why they always win the "Favorite Apartment Complex" Ruthie award every year!
They are over priced, had roaches in some buildings, barking dogs constantly and even if you purchase a home and move out early, they charge you thousands of dollars for breaking your lease. I DO NOT recommend these apartments. There were some good things. The swimming pools went to 9ft but at least one of them should have been chlorinated. They do offer tenants breakfast and other activities and the maintenance team will help you out regardless of the time you call.

My husband and I lived at Chelsea Place for about a year and a half and just moved out of state.
Apartment: Our particular unit was a 1b/1b Raleigh layout. The floor plan was nice, though the vinal floors were VERY soft, so if you plan to put any furniture down, be sure to get pads ASAP. The sink and toilet in the bathroom were set very low, which was unfortunate for my tall husband. The cabinets in the kitchen and bathroom were both very odd in that they seemed to be made of painted, warped particle-board and the drawers were not on solid tracks -- and because of this, sawdust would fall out and on to our items. The upper kitchen cabinet space was tricky, as many of them were too small to put a box of pasta in (and they were not adjustable) but we remedied that by putting the dry goods in the cabinet above the dryer-unit. The walk-in closet space in the bedroom was great, however.
Community: The community was nice overall and Chelsea Place is VERY particular about keeping up appearances. The socials were a fun touch, and although I only attended one due to scheduling, I appreciated that they provided outlets for community involvement. As the Raleigh layouts are all across the street from the main appartments, the amenities were less accessible but still decent. The walking trail is beautiful by the main appartments and the main pool is much nicer than the pool near buildings QRS.
Leasing office: The office had kind workers, but it often felt like they were not very organized with their communication. Be careful not to get caught with a pet fee or anything extra added, as we had to specifically tell them to remove the pet fee from the lease (even after we told them it was not applicable) because they told us to sign the incorrect document, asserting that that they would change it later, which we did not agree to. In the same way, check out your apartment first. They may tell you to sign off that you have seen the apartment before you actually have... Don't. Keep record of any important emails or conversations.
Appliances: The appliances in our unit were nice. All stainless steel and worked well throughout our stay. We only had maintenance come and check our dishwasher once or twice, because it popped its fuse.
Aesthetics: Chelsea Place was very clean, especially with their dog poop program. I did certainly appreciate the lack of dog poop and unsightly garbage.
Price: I do believe that CP is over priced for what they offer, but I appreciate that they strive to be very clean. I don't like how their prices change daily, because it made me feel rushed and like I was getting cheated, but I suppose that is just how this particular company works.
Sound level: Overall, the community was pretty quiet. In the QRS area, there were very few kids (if any) and the neighbors mostly kept to themselves. Being on the bottom floor, we could hear overhead walking and occasionally loud arguing, but as long as you don't have upstairs neighbors who like to run or yell, it was pretty average for apartment life.
Pests: Chelsea Place does have The Bug Man spray regularly for pests. We got the typical rolly-pollies and a few flies, but the vinal floors made cleanliness easy. As first floor residents, we did have a couple roaches appear here and there throughout our stay, but nothing that 22 Mule Team Borax couldn't fix. We were careful to keep our floors clear and clean- taking out the trash often.
Overall, pretty middle of the pack place, but definitely felt pretty safe and clean.
The ladies in Chelsea Place s leasing office are always willing to help you out with whatever you need. Leah, especially, is super awesome! I ve lived here for four years now and I have enjoyed every bit of it. Thank you Chelsea Place for such a positive living experience!
Such a great place to live for a great price, I love living here. All my neighbors are friendly, and there is a big dog walking community. I can't wait for summer when the pool opens up!
The apartments are extremely overpriced. We paid $947 for a 1bed 1 bath for 7 long months and when we moved in there wasn t a AC unit. When moving out, we gave a 60 day notice in an email that they are now claiming they never received (even though they put a sorry to see you leave note on our door). They didn t even try to work with us, they said either you stay till June ( lease was up in April) and pay rent or it will get sent to collections. (Which is now $1206) for a 1 bedroom! Please help if anyone experienced the same thing I did. DO NOT MOVE HERE
Enjoy living here. I have live here for over 6 years. Great staff and community. I love the giveaway opportunities and their desire to do community events
DONT stay here. They ve increased their prices to match those of better, newer complexes but they don t even begin to compare. We moved into one of their newly renovated apartments in August of 2016 and moved out in May of 2018. Dryer never worked. We called them out to come fix it multiple times, they never did. Squirrels are constantly heard in the walls as well as issues with bugs despite the pest control . Maintenance requests are constantly ignored. Breakfast bar and countertops were literally loose and sliding off the walls upon leaving. Water is cut off randomly with no warning for hour time intervals. Move out fees are also random and unreasonable with no legitimate way of calculating them. Sockets either don t work or are installed improperly. Its just an old, cheap complex with new, expensive prices. Check out Panther Creek Parc, Richland Falls, or Olympus Hollywood instead. We re living amongst these three now and LOVE them. You ll get way more for what you re paying (and probably pay less!).
Its a hidden Jewel here in Murfreesboro, It literally has it all from tennis courts, fishing pond, dog park, 3 swimming pools, and a mile walking trail all on property. Not to mention how quite it is. I would recommend this community to absolutely everyone!
Great place to live! Chelsea Place is the place to be if living in Murfreesboro. Its a short walk to a grocery store, and less than 5 min away from the interstate. The complex also features a pathway that circles a large lake and its obvious that all the pets love it here. The staff is extremely friendly and welcoming, also the maintenance staff is quick in fixing problems. I throughly like living here and I would highly recommend.
I love the amenities; especially the pond and walking trail which I use daily. I also love all the trees because not only do they provide shade in the heat, the greenery is lovely.
This place doesn t not care about there residents, I m being evicted with a 8 month baby they are only giving me three days to be out plus it Labor Day weekend, I m being evicted for something that isn t true!
