I'm editing my last review. Initially I had a problem, reviewed them, and the owner and manager IMMEDIATELY reached out to me.
I've gone in since then and had a wonderful experience. The craft cocktails were delicious, the lamb shank and salmon dishes were mouthwatering and our waitress and the staff were extremely helpful and delightful.
Would go back!

Fabulous seasoning is why you want to go there. The fish fry was was moist and flaky. The wild boar shoulder was perfectly seasoned and the lentil soup was by far the best I ever had! Our daughter had the signature chicken sandwich. It had a charter flavor but all of the other ingredients of balanced it in a very unique and delicious way. Also, the service was impeccable (courteous and attentive). We all highly recommend this restaurant!

Absolutely Fantastic! Great filet, great boar, owner greeted us at the door then wiped down our table and talked with us. Server was sweet and the food was fantastic. It's been a while since I had such a great meal. The only I would want is a little more wine in my glass.

My husband and I recently moved to Mequon, back near my parents. We enjoy trying new restaurants and decided to check out The Cheel and take my parents with. We arrived, the wait was 15 min - not bad for a Friday night! We decided to More

A very special place. Flavors you can't find anywhere else. The lamb shank is fantastic every time, you won't be disappointed. The drinks are also exceptional and the service is always attentive, warm and friendly. A definite top spot for great dinner and entertainment.

Delicious food in a relaxed setting. The Victorian home has been renovated to be a Nepalese restaurant. Loved the little details like gold silverware. Went for lunch and had the lamb burger (I forget the actual menu name of it). The seasoning on the fries had a kick to it, but I like a little heat!

What a wonderful restaurant experience. Our waitstaff was attentive and knowledgeable and very pleasant. The food was amazing and expertly prepared. Not only is it farm to fork, they have their own garden to grow some of the things they use in their dishes. I had the ribs, which were excellent and the rest of my party loved the vegetarian dishes they ordered.

What a nice place to have a really good meal. The Friday fish fry was excellent. We seldom find a gluten free breaded fish fry that reminds us of the wonderful fish frys we grew up with in Wisconsin. Okay so the flourless chocolate cake was $12 a slice but is was worth every penny! A fish fry and desert plus tip for two with no cocktails was a bit spendy @$88 but the food was really good. The only down side was that it got very loud in the bar dining area but that's fish fry night! Table service was excellent as well.

Love music is nice but th ed space is simply too small making it excessively loud and impossible to carry on a conversation. Recent changes in their wines has diminished the quality. Foid is unusual but flavorful.

Great

Food was okay. We love this type of cuisine, and were ready to embrace all of the flavors., but I didn't get that. Maybe my expectations were too high. Unfortunately, our experience was that the service was painfully slow. It was busy, but not terribly. The atmosphere is nice, especially outdoor dining when weather cooperates. We will try again....maybe.

A customer recomnended The Cheel for dinner and after our first visit I can wholeheartedly agree. The staff were extremely friendly with and offered great advice on choices. We went with a selection of appetisers (minibitz) including vegetarian and lamb dumplings and I went with a traditional Nepalese steak dish which was delicious. I will definitely be coming back next time I'm in town.

My husband and I live in Grafton and The Cheel is our favorite restaurant in Ozaukee County! We came here for date night tonight and Dynah was our waitress and was the best waitress we have ever had. Knowledgeable about the menu, so friendly and attentive, 10/10. We will definitely be back!

This is the filet special, delicious!

Excellent place to dine in! I like fusion cuisine concept but American and Nepalese was something I never expected. The Cheel pulled out this concept pretty well. Great concept and amazing food. Friendly staff and servers who take time to explain everything on the menu.
