Beautiful place for our romantic weekend. The owners are welcoming and caring, and the room where we were a real suite with quaint charm. Only downside we had a little cold at night, a real quilt would not have been too much. But otherwise just great and well located since we reach the center of Bordeaux in about ten minutes. Thank you for everything, we will not hesitate to recommend you.

In spite of all the Corona challenges, our family enjoyed the stay very much. Breakfast was excellent and service was very friendly and cozy. My family enjoyed the calmness of the surroundings of the Chateau and nature as well as small but splendid swimming pool.

For starters, welcome unpleasant from Madame, thankfully that sir was there to save the furniture! The poor, it does not have to be fun every day ...
In short! We were taken to the room without even explaining ourselves for breakfast or departure times. We had to go back to the reception (where there is never anyone) and "disturb" Madam to receive information.
Clean room at first, but when we look in the corners, we get scared! Spider web, dust, dirt in the toilets of the previous tenant and so on.
Finally, I think a dictatorship has settled in this castle, we must see how it speaks to its employees ... the poor women!
In short: TO AVOID ABSOLUTELY!
We are spending our second day here. Scenery and building are beautiful. Dinner was delicious. Our hosts have been absolutely amazing. I want everyone to experience a night here. We can't wait to re visit for an anniversary.
We spent three days at Lantic Castle. The whole family was charmed by the place, superb swimming pool, romantic garden where it is good to stroll. The rooms are top, breakfast should satisfy even the most difficult and the host table was up to our expectations. We felt "home"! The owners are both discreet and very available. Great stay to renew !!!

Like I told him, so much the better if they can afford to treat future customers that way. I had planned to go there because I am attending a wedding a stone's throw away and I will of course contact all the other participants who are staying at the Castle to let them know. I am sure I will give very bad publicity.
I'm disappointed. I booked a room and then canceled a few days later due to reconfinement. I canceled it 2 weeks in advance. They charged me 35 to supposedly return them to me "on my next visit to their place", without even asking my opinion. I find that unacceptable.
I also expressed my dissatisfaction by email. I haven't even received a response.
Very nice step in this beautiful castle. Booking as part of a wonderbox, we had a great time with our 2 year old son. The host very welcoming and attentive, the delicious meal and the beautiful place. To recommend without a doubt!
Only good points: the setting and the meal ...
I think the staff does not benefit from hotel training and this is what spoils the stay ... Full of contrasts that breaks the "luxury" of a stay at the castle (especially given the price of the night .. .) example: hot beer in a can in a water glass for an aperitif, leaky shower head, magnifying mirror broken, no explanation of anything (we take you to your room, then you to find where is SPA, restaurant ... fortunately there is a booklet in the room that indicates the meal times, breakfast ...) and finally forget breakfast in the room ... We were very excited about this stay but unfortunately we left disappointed. I hope the many opinions will help change some things.

Nice place nice and managed with care and attention. The castle has been renovated retaining a lot of authenticity but adding a significant comfort. We feel a warm atmosphere provided by a friendly staff and an owner with all the assets of a chatelaine perfectly integrated into the frame. A small inconvenience for the suite of four with a bathroom too cramped for the number of people. Friendly and complete breakfast. To recommend for a beautiful and well organized wedding party.

Beautiful and quiet chateau in true Bordeaux countryside. The rooms are clean, the staff friendly, the croissants excellent and the spa small but enjoyable. Perfect for a relaxing weekend, although there is not much to do locally beyond a few days.

The Castle was very well able to organize our wedding evening: the animations are really appreciable (the fireworks, the presentation of the veal at the meal, the DJ is excellent ...), the meal was judged by everyone exceptional and the evening too. The following day the brunch was also very good. Thank you very much, our guests were delighted and so were we.

The place is nice. We had booked as part of a wonderbox. The room that was provided in this box was not available. The person I had on the phone offered me an additional cost of 20 for a so-called room above that provided in the box. Since none of the dates I gave were free I had to accept the proposal. The person who greeted us at night on arrival received us but immediately asked us to pay the extra cost and the tourist tax. Then she was worried about whether we were dining there. Frankly we did not want to. We went to the spa where 30 minutes were offered in the box wonderbox. The person drove us there. I had previously asked what we had to bring in. We were told that the jersey, we went to the spa room which is apart from the castle, we had access to a jaccuzi (moderately clean. the surface of the water on the walls of the jaccuzi) ... Access to the sauna Access to a shower The windows give in the courtyard of the castle The blinds are damaged and do not close completely The room could be nice but the finishes leave much to be desired Lights too strong, not sifted at all ... pity When we are used to go in spa this one is not the most Zen ... There are still 3 slices of charcuterie, nobody refills the dish. There is a bottom of hot milk it's half a cup. I supplement with cold milk .... There are eggs. Appliances for cooking but no one explains how to cook them. With all that we should have asked so much that we would have breakfast at that. We manage and help each other between customers. The owner of the establishment is very busy (going back and forth between the kitchen and our room) but never addresses us and avoids asking us what we want and if we miss anything. I had the impression that it is an establishment where we look at the economy, given the time, the last customers of the breakfast have been treated as the first !!!! We leave to the room. Prepare our things and we go to the reception to make the key. The boss talks with a couple of customers ... then comes to take care of us. Ask us to wait before leaving. He checks if we have paid the extra cost .... difficult not to have settled since the night before is the first thing we were asked. This gentleman does not ask us how we found our room, if we slept well or if our stay in Bordeaux went well. No exchange between employees where the boss and us. Business is business !!!! My feeling is that the wonderbox client is more annoying than anything else. Treated differently since the boss spoke to all the customers we met except us. Not to mention the extra cost of 20 ... very disappointing all that !!!!

I recommend this establishment (D'Artagnan room). The bedroom turned out to be a small studio with a large bathroom (shower and bath) and a very practical hidden kitchen area. A very nice view of a church illuminated in the evening.
The environment is charming. The pool is very clean and there are few people.
Breakfast is not included in the room rate but is plentiful at a reasonable price. 30 minutes maximum from the center of Bordeaux. The team of young people are very friendly.

We did not see the castle or our room, reserved for more than a month for the wedding night. Marriage messed up when we announced at 8 pm answering that our room is unavailable due to water leak. We are offered a hotel in the center of Bordeaux, telling us that if you have a car it is not a problem. Except that if we had wanted to go to Bordeaux we would have clearly not booked at home. We chose them because they were next to our wedding reception and finally we ended up sleeping with family and friends instead of having an idyllic honeymoon night. I do not thank you, and I will make you very good pub. At 10:00 pm when we listen to the message and remember, crying in front of the guests because we learn that we have no room for the night, I will remember. I also do not thank you for the clearly absent courtesy, and the excuses are clearly optional. What's more, no compensation.
