Beware they ll show some reviews at your orientation but most of these reviews are 100% true including this one! Terrible place to work don't do it if u haven't already management sucks big time and don't expect to be on the job very long unless u work with management the call center part is good to do but they r all about a number that u must meet and if not, out the door u go....it has the potential to be a great place for people to work but it's not worth u leaving the job u already have for them. Oh and not to mention they got rid of the 3rd shift two weeks before Christmas now u can just imagine how we felt having to go through that with us having kids and all.... but did they care NOPE.... they told us to take these hrs or u can leave we really don't give a damn... not to mention the disrespect they'll say oh we care but turn right around and say ur fired don't believe the hype....orientation it's all a fake. I had a few people to ask me about them all I can say is enter at ur own risk!
I was here on a business trip, so I cannot speak to the patient experience, but, the staff here were fantastic. They were extremely friendly and helpful, and my trip to this location was a great one because of that.
i interviewed with Chartspan. I read up on the position, pay, and company but still did not get the job. I am sad because everyone i saw was nice and seemed like a place that everyone has a lot of fun at. I am going to apply again soon.
I would like to preface my review by saying I am not getting paid to post a review and this is an authentic account of my experience with ChartSpan thus far. Additionally, I am in my early forties with a plethora of other wonderful and successful career opportunities to parallel this experience with. Time is a valuable commodity so I ll keep it as concise as I can!
The onboarding experience was absolutely high-tech and painless. My remote office equipment arrived and if needed, their IT department would gladly hold my hand during setup.
My interview rounds were with true professionals who have deservingly earned their ranks. I even found a few that were promoted from within. Nice!
Training was rigorous and obviously a highly developed program. I cannot say enough about the training process. You learn about their products in-depth first; from the ground up. They walk you through the patient experience and delivery standards were one huge takeaway for me. They record the trainings so you can replay them if you need more review. Very intuitive and interactive learning environment; 100% remote. My experience may differ from previous reviews because I believe there have been some managerial changes from within.
They expect you to study and you must pass an exam and one roll play interactive. I liked the challenge and it enriched the overall experience. Training is paid and I already signed up for my benefits. My benefit cards arrived in the mail before my first full week on the job.
Decent base pay but more exciting is the individual commission tiers and the department (group) monthly commission incentives. We received the monthly commission incentive the department earned and we were in training!
You definitely feel supported and feel like you are part of team. I have never felt like a freshman among seniors because the existing specialists are happy to answer questions. They even have a mentorship program.
My favorite part so far is that I feel supported and management is accessible. The transparency is refreshing! I know I am delivering a valuable quality product and it seems the skies the limit at ChartSpan.
This company called and offered their service with the implication that it was an extension of free service from my doctor. No mention of fees. When I got my first charge I told them the service was of no value to me and please take me out of enrollment. Each month for 4 months they kept billing me a copay and each month I d call and tell them to stop because I didn t want or need to chat it up with a nurse each month. The last call, I talked with a supervisor who promised to wave the $40 in accumulated fees. Today I was again asked to pay this balance. What an incompetent, fraudulent, dishonest scam this company is. I wish they were local and I could go in and jerk a knot in someone (metaphorically speaking of course).
Unprofessional!!! The location I worked back in the early part of 2000 s and never remembered the place looking so doomed & gloomed. I interviewed with this place with other candidates and there was an individual who only been in the job for less than 6mos and pretty much surmised she has no business in that position and knows nothing about the business. I m so glad they didn t call back, because I would decline. They couldn t tell you nothing about the program other than you ll be making a bunch of calls to seniors which is a highly protected class, to coerced them to by a product that they don t need. But the recruiter, the supervisor, and the analyst could not tell us nothing about the product beyond what I read on the website, so that tells me their not to excited about it. The lady who stated that she would be (if selected) our direct report to (and the individual that s grossly unqualified for her position) focus more about how to sell and what you should feel about selling than what you are actually selling. It was pretty insulting especially when you are talking to an experience salesperson. Compensation was stated as earning potential ($40k-$60k) but I be hard press to believe that their top performer is busting thru $$35K, my motto is work smarter not harder. Sounds like an awesome place to run up the clock if you re young or live at home or with people.
...........what a Medicare scam with plenty of double talk for the elderly . Mostly cnas that can't give medical advice with maybe two nurses. This company buys the information from practices and says it's recommended by their Dr. Nasty management that don't know how to treat ppl. What's concerning is that they made a ton of money falsely consenting patients. They fired a whole team of people but as a company you had to know this was happening because the check each call for quality. These ppl walk around like they are changing the world when it's a third party Medicare scam word hustling the elderly. CLOWNS
The Consent and Enrollment department needs new Management, they have no idea of how to keep quality employees, they say you can make 40-60 thousand a year between hourly and commissions, but they don't tell you that they don't have enough new clients to obtain that goal, also they talk about their great benefit package, but don't tell you there are no paid holidays or paid sick time. Then unlike most companies that allow you time to learn and grow in your position, they expect perfection in your first 90 days and threaten you with discipline before you even know what you are doing and if you quit they say you are Terminated as if they fired you, they will never keep good people, because they treat people like robots, and they set unrealistic metrics that aren't easily obtained, so you basically make the hourly rate which is no where near what they say you'll make in a year. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone, because they have no compassion and could care less about the people who do their best everyday to get the job done.
