Clean, large bathroom, very good beds, nice TV, perfect

It was great. Good service, good price and good hotel. Everything was clean and modern. Room was cleaned every day and it looked nice. The location is also great. A minute walk from the station and in 10 minutes you are in the shopping center.

An affordable place to stay in Maastricht, I recommend

Simplistic and stylish, with a tongue in cheek messages on the walls. Very comfortable beds and cushions. Nice shower.

Perhaps this hotel has wonderful reviews in terms of decor and appearance, but it still has a lot to learn in terms of service and customer-friendliness. Especially in this difficult time when this is urgently needed. My daughter gave me a weekend in Maastricht for my 64th birthday, which we both really looked forward to. We were supposed to go to Thermae but liked it better to book in Maastricht. But now in this special time, everything went differently. Thermae was closed so part of the party was canceled. We received a neat voucher from Thermae, but to our surprise we were unable to rebook at Kaboom. We just lost our money !!! Why think along in this difficult situation, We really did not want our money back, just rebook. !!
Does a hotel think it will make itself popular ??? In any case, we will never return and it also provides a bad review. Very unwise. Especially at this time. Two very disappointed former customers.

An absolute must! What a nice hotel. Perfect beds, very friendly and helpful staff, breakfast at Flavourz was perfect, very clean rooms. The chill zone is nicely set up and is just as wonderful to relax. From the hotel you can walk directly into the pleasant Wyck district with atmospheric streets full of restaurants and boutiques.
We have left a nice surprise. Wondering if someone discovers this

We stayed with the family for a week, and our sheets were not changed at all, not even wiped, the room by the road with minimal sound insulation, all night we listened to drunken passersby, and without his own dining room for breakfast. The only good thing is its location, right across from the train station.

Really a great hotel with all the facilities that a middle-class hotel should offer, but Kaboom goes much further with friendliness and hospitality, along with space and freshness, and low costs and good location make the stay complete ... thank you lovely people from Kaboom Maastricht. ..

Great hotel, good location, very friendly and pleasant staff and clean room. Some more facilities in the room (for example a kettle - also to clean mouth masks, for example) would have been slightly better.

We love this place! A very stylish and unique place. The rooms are rather small but clean. The beds are amazing, they are extra long and my super tall husband finally had a bed where his feet didn't hang from the end of the bed. Also loved the modern bathroom.

The staff was very friendly and super helpful with any questions we had.

We will definitely be back!

Great little hotel, design, super conveniently located and with awesome staff. The rooms are decent sized (for Europe) and cozy and very well organized. The beds are soooo comfy and you can choose between a variety of pillows. Will definitely go back whenever I need to sleep in Maastricht.

Very funky hotel! Very new feel, we got a free upgrade which was lovely. Friendly staff and free popping candy upon arrival! We were also allowed to leave our bags after check out to go into town before getting our train which was great.

Spacious clean and nice room with nice beds. Bathroom with separate toilet which is very nice if you share the room with three people.
Nice roof terrace to sit for a drink and a game.
Close to the station and with a short, fun walk you are also in the center.

Super located opposite the train station, center within walking distance, wonderful beds, enough space for the night that we stayed. Decor is nice and stubborn and reminded us of a hotel in Paris last year which was just as worth it. Recommended!

All night thumping music, what a misery! After reporting to the reception during check-out, it was enormously nonchalant. Particularly unfortunate

Decorations looks nice, but have plenty of improvement opportunities in the following: Heating can be improved; No cups in the room for hot water; Housekeeping hung a bag outside my room at 12pm because I'm still in the room. I left the room for the whole afternoon and no housekeeping was done when I return at night.

Good price quality. For 60 euros you have a clean room with everything in order. Location is great. Rooms otherwise not very special but everything is there what you need. Friendly lady behind the counter. I did not see the possibility for a double bed on the site, but only 2 single beds next to each other. I thought that was a shame. But maybe it was just sold out or I didn't look good enough. All in all very satisfied.

July 5 after Andre Reu and booked an overnight stay for 2 people in Hotel Kaboom. Briefly stated that our room for 2 people was clean except a pillow full of yellow stains, probably used by people who take medication. The room is so small that they have pushed 2 beds together and that 1 person has to crawl over the bed to get into it. side no place to walk, no wardrobe but 5 separate hangers for hanging what side of bed comes no table and no chair to sit in comfortably, I had requested a chair I also got right away but there was almost no place in front of. Poor explanation of how it works in a room. The breakfast was good even very good. But next time I would not go back very unfortunate it was nice and close to the stadium but a good room is worth more.

Opposite the Maastricht station.....right price, clean and well operated....

We just spent the night there, but are disappointed! The lobby is not very welcoming, the elevator not clean! When we arrive, we are told that having lunch at the hotel is not possible! We have to go a few houses further, the second coffee is at our expense!

The Kaboom is a nice, modern hotel right by the train station in Maastricht. Despite the central location, our room was really quiet (window to the inner courtyard).
The rooms are very well equipped (air conditioning, large flat screen TV), I guess the hotel is only about 3 years old.
There is a good breakfast - included in our room price - next door in the Dadawan. The terrace is a nice place to linger in summer.
Price / performance ratio ok too.
The finishing touches are missing for 5 stars (no lounge, cleanliness not very good, nothing special for children).
Overall, a good hotel in Maastricht that is always worth a short trip.

Amazing staff, central location, beds were incredibly comfy with Goose feather pillows. Nothing could have been done to make the stay any more perfect.

Nice hostel, clean and in a good location. The only downside is that you have to ask for things that should just be standard; as a toilet brush, more than 2 rollers if you are with 4pers, more towels.

Friendly welcome, great stay. Breakfast at Flavourz is a must. The check-in and check-out times do cause crowds in the relatively small lobby.

Stayed here twice now, a very cool place. Close to centre and even closer to the main train station. Excellent.

Nice rooms for a good price. Rooms are clean and spacious enough for single overnight stays. I wouldn't recommend it if you plan to spend a lot of time in your room; then it is too small and you do not have a nice seating area. We only sleep in the room, so very fine. The descriptions in the room are described humorously, so we have read all the information with a smile. The only thing we missed in our room was a wardrobe. For us it is no problem to live out of suitcases for a few days, but it is a striking choice not to place them.

Very modern, clean, and friendly. I have stayed on two seperate occasions so far and had good experiences both times.

This place is so cozy, calm, nice, clean and the staff is very friendly. I would recommend this place to everyone, anytime.

Price and quality fine.
Too bad breakfast is very expensive.

We got for 2p:
Coffee and tea.
2 glasses of orange juice (not fresh).
2 mini croissants,
2 mini brown balls, 2 slices of brown bread, 2 slices of cheese and ham, jam and a small bowl of fruit.
And a bowl of scrambled eggs from the steamer. (not tasty). Putting it in the pan is almost as quick and is much tastier.
For this we paid 25.00.

Jug of coffee or tea.
For croissant I would take a large one (the small ones dry very quickly).
More types of bread or buns.
More types of toppings (cheese, ham and jam is a bit sparse).
Cooked eggs.
Some more sweet fillings.
Yogurt and / or quark, milk and buttermilk.
Muesli ed.
Fresh fruit.
Some more local products (doing well). People also want to pay a little more for that.
I hope you can do something with this.

I would like to start off by saying the the overall stay was good. The rooms are clean and the beds are comfy, although a little but small for the price paid, the design is great and unique. The real down side in the room is the fact that there is no closet, only a hanged box and 4 hangers. There was a brochure on the desk inside the room stated that we could ask from the reception for an extra folding hanging unit(or something like that) but they didn't have any when we asked. My 2 stars review is do the poor service by the hotel, which is quite standard in many hotels I've been in, also around Europe. I ordered few packages to the hotel before my arrival, and emailed the hotel for the details and asked them for a confirmation. After few days with no response, I had to call to make sure they got my email. The lady who answered me said that she remember and forgot to reply, I especially told her and wrote on the email where are the packages will come from. Upon my arrival, I got only one package, even thought there were 2. After few days, I discovered that the Hotel rejected 2 DHL packages, and didn't even bother to leave me a note in the room. both packages were sent back to the sender. When speaking with the lady who rejected the packages, and her manager, they argues with me that they are not a post office and it is not their job to receive any packages. Only after 20 minuets of debate, the manager agreed that by telling me that they will take care of it, they are taking responsibility for the packages and guarantee me they will receive it, and excused it by the fact they have 80 guests(that's kind a small number) so there are mistakes. I asked for a compensation, to pay me back the cost of shipping for both packages by they refused. From that conversation to they end of my stay, every request by me was answered with an annoying attitude, showing me I'm not welcome in the hotel. When I asked to print something, the lady who rejected my packages even rolled her eyes and clucked in ver with disrespect. As far for me, I won't stay in this hotel again when I'll get to Maastricht, there are plenty other hotels with better service.

Service is very well, staff friendly, room and bathroom clean, room is nice, only a coffee machine and or water cooler will be nice adding and service, the bed had for me a to soft matras, hotel good for family, couple or alone, prices are ok, is opposite train station, is about 15, 20 minutes walk to centre

Perfect location, very nice & compact room, good service and friendly staff. The entire hotel is decorated in a very nice style, I think young adults in particular appreciate this. The only drawback was that the hallway from the room is a bit noisy. However, I have not heard the outside noise.

I would not want to stay anywhere else in Maastricht, super!

We had booked a package including breakfast, a Midweek pass and bicycles. When we arrived, they said they did not see in their system that we had booked that package and that we therefore did not receive it. The confirmation e-mail did not include exactly what was booked, only the amount that we paid. Although that amount corresponded to the price of the package, they refused to provide us with breakfast etc. Even booking on the spot was not possible. Very unhelpful and certainly a disappointment for us.

Nice hotel with helpful staff. Location is great. Keep in mind parking costs at the QPARK. Breakfast is pricey, which is why we have made the choice to have breakfast outside. Would be smarter to lower breakfast prices.
