I would like to start off by saying the the overal...

I would like to start off by saying the the overall stay was good. The rooms are clean and the beds are comfy, although a little but small for the price paid, the design is great and unique. The real down side in the room is the fact that there is no closet, only a hanged box and 4 hangers. There was a brochure on the desk inside the room stated that we could ask from the reception for an extra folding hanging unit(or something like that) but they didn't have any when we asked. My 2 stars review is do the poor service by the hotel, which is quite standard in many hotels I've been in, also around Europe. I ordered few packages to the hotel before my arrival, and emailed the hotel for the details and asked them for a confirmation. After few days with no response, I had to call to make sure they got my email. The lady who answered me said that she remember and forgot to reply, I especially told her and wrote on the email where are the packages will come from. Upon my arrival, I got only one package, even thought there were 2. After few days, I discovered that the Hotel rejected 2 DHL packages, and didn't even bother to leave me a note in the room. both packages were sent back to the sender. When speaking with the lady who rejected the packages, and her manager, they argues with me that they are not a post office and it is not their job to receive any packages. Only after 20 minuets of debate, the manager agreed that by telling me that they will take care of it, they are taking responsibility for the packages and guarantee me they will receive it, and excused it by the fact they have 80 guests(that's kind a small number) so there are mistakes. I asked for a compensation, to pay me back the cost of shipping for both packages by they refused. From that conversation to they end of my stay, every request by me was answered with an annoying attitude, showing me I'm not welcome in the hotel. When I asked to print something, the lady who rejected my packages even rolled her eyes and clucked in ver with disrespect. As far for me, I won't stay in this hotel again when I'll get to Maastricht, there are plenty other hotels with better service.
