Worst place I have ever been to. Chef couldn't get the temperature right on any steak. Whatever you do, don't send it back. They will never bring a corrected meal, you won't eat and they will charge you for it, on top of being extremely rude. Ruined three holiday meals and causes nothing but embarrassment for the hotel GSR in which it is located. It's Italian sister restaurant is just as bad. The menu is awful. Living in restaurant capital of California and as a financial advisor to high end restaurants, this is no way to treat customers or run a business.

The food and service was great,we will defently be back next time where in Reno.

This has been my husband and my favorite date night place. Over the past year they have rolled out SO many menu changes that we will no longer be going. First change was understandable, no longer do they automatically bring sauces (bearnaise sauce, house sauce, ect...) with your $45 steak. You have to pay $4 extra for any sauce. Last time we went they changed the menu and upped prices once again (which were already high for what you get). Last night we went and no longer do they have a basic salad with your meal (which was changed this month [August 15']). The salads were all changed and now cost over $10 for a unimpressive size. We will be going to one of the many other fantastic steakhouses from now on. Totally bummed about this too.
If you want a Filet (just meat) with sauce it's $50 + Salad $10-15 + Side dish $8-15= You are looking at a minimum of $75/person. Not including any drink, appetizer, or dessert.

It was ok . Much much better places to eat in Reno . First and last time eating here . Ordered the ahi tuna tar tar as an app. This was my major problem . The tar tar was not fresh at all. The avocado on top was even brown obviously sitting for awhile . As a foodie and a lover of raw fish I was a huge turn off for the rest of the dinner . My man got the rib eye it was good. I got the short rib with risotto . It was tender but no thrilled with dish . Also had the basil cocktail . I liked that .

The service there was excellent and the food was great!

French onion soup and the service was outstanding my steak was very good but not sure it was worth the price.

My wife and I just had a quick bite at this excellent steak house. We shared some filet skewers,a lovely beet salad presented on a yummy cracker thingy. Some french onion soup and a house salad. The young lady that served us was pretty, efficient, and very pleasant! 9 out 10 overall.

Stick to steak... crab was overpriced for what you get

Best palace to celebrate anything!! I celebrate my Anniversary here every year just about! An amazing atmosphere and great service!!! I would recommend this place to everyone!

Everything I have ordered here is excellent. They are known for their hamburgers, but their breakfasts are also outstanding. Come hungry or split a burger. The staff are very friendly and professional.

I wonderful experience with amazing wait staff and the food is just stunning in a word. Ala carte menu aside you can piece together your perfect meal from their robust selection. The only thing that was a negative for me was a fine dining experience should be one that creates an occasion. Women wearing a dress or skirt men jacket and tie only to be dismayed upon being seated by the hostess to see folks in T shirts jeans and sneakers at other tables. It kind of took away from the experience but that had nothing to do with the restaurant itself it's a cultural thing and a peccadillo of my own. Go and have a wonderful time and have the steak done to perfection for you as well as apps and sides that are to die for!

Descent food. Unfortunately the people that they let in to eat adds onto and ruins the whole mood and experience.

The service was excellent but the dinner was horrible. Ordered ribeye and crab leg. Asked for no pepper on steak but came out with pepper all over it. Crab leg was over cooked and dry. Mr Palmer might want to check on his name at Grand Sierra Resort in Reno because it was very disappointing. We will never go back again.

Excellent food! We rarely go anyplace this expensive, but everything was amazing and the service was stellar!

Food quality wasn't worth the amount of money spent. Service was subpar. Understaffed. Steaks were undercooked severely. Asked for medium and got rare. My girlfriend had the exact same thing happen to her steak too.

The service was great and the food was amazing.... Our servers Donovan and Jacob are the best... We will be back...

Thanksgiving Dinner at Charlie Palmer - food and service were excellent as usual. Loren did a great job as did his team. Host and hostess were welcoming and friendly and thankful as we departed. This is a great spot...lucky to have it so close to home. A depleted cellar is the only reason for the missing star...but I should blame COVID.

Wwaayyy overpriced. Need more menu items. Food was...meh. 2 stars for service.

Went the for my boyfriend's birthday and they went all out. They gave us a little cake with candles, as well as some stuff to take home.

Every time I come here it's good, steaks are great and everything else I have ordered has been to. The service is good too, but sometimes there can be a need for some improvements. Overall a really good steak house cannot go wrong with it.

Located inside Grand Sierra Resort. Decent steakhouse. Watch out not to fill up on the basket of warm breads they serve. Everything was pretty decent but no real wow factor here.

Quality seams to be going down. But still good food and great service

Service was good however the food was substandard at best. We ordered the hanger steak and it tasted ok, salad was ok. For the price you can go to much better places to in Reno.

A fabulous experience! They made us feel welcomed and special from the minute we walked in the door. Our waiter Irwyn was Amazing!!! He gets TEN stars! Food and presentation was Excellent. Thank you for a wonderful experience!

Restaurant has now become outrageously expensive.....been there many times over the years.....we are now done.

Oh my...this place is something else! I don t know where to start, ordered the Porter House for Two and it was absolutely delicious!

Btw, I did not get a chance to take a picture due to chowing down as soon as it was on our table. The picture below looked similar so you can get an idea of the goodness.

Others in our party ordered the lamb which was tender and seasoned to perfection, along with their prime rib that was real rib roast. Not the so called prime rib you get at the other Reno buffets that serve roasted beef.

Trust me folks if you are in town and want to eat at real steak house, hit CP Steak up you will not be disappointed.

Had Pork belly scallops with a Fillet that was fantastic. The Oatmeal stout on draft was amazing. Seriously great cook on the Scallop.

Excellent food and great wine selection. Well worth it.

I wish there were more places like this around town. Service is typically above par. It has a great atmosphere.

The filet was amazing. Never bring a person beautiful hot dinner rolls with iceberg butter!!!!!
