I feel blessed to have a safe space to regain my independence. Now I just need the help of the Organization to connect me with a career opportunity in line with the cost of living in South Florida! The problem isn't shortage of jobs but of sustainable income to move people out of poverty!

Visited someone often, only to find out that he was never helped by his case manager. I was the only one to him find work only to not be able to attend interviews because case manager wanted to meet only to tell him his time at shelter was coming to an end if he did not find work when in reality he had interviews all along for which he had to miss cause of bs.

Chapman was truly a blessing for me when I was homeless. I know the feeling of be treated like less then but, I didn't receive that from Chapman. Everyone has a bad day but that should not be held again Chapman as a whole. If you do what you have to do Chapman will do what they have to do for you. Again yes some people have problems but majority of them are great.

This place was very difficult to be in. They felt like your situation didn't matter as long as your there. They were only nice enough to kick you out and take everything you have afterwards. I been given slick remarks about my situation and how stressful and irritating the staff can be. The only person I respect over there was holly of all people, because she didn't waste on handing me a work pass when I had to work. All and all, this shelter is slow and will hit the breaks if your the heaviest bag in the bus and it will still run slow.

All my belongings stolen from staff who broke into my locker as others when we had to go to a hotel for quarantine. Thieving employees not all of them specific employees still and enjoy your things. A homeless shelter.

Chapman Partnership is the second worst thing that Miami-Dade could have thought of regarding how to help homeless people. They have forgotten that they are supposed to help people get out of the shelter and get them on their feet into their own place and a job if the person can work. The case managers here are possibly racially biased. I bet that everyone who has graduated from this so called program were all native Spanish speaking people. They don't care about African Americans. They are holding all of the current residents hostage instead. This so called program is not do much for me because I am an African American woman. They don't care. Next to Miami-Dade Homeless Trust, again this is the worst thing that Miami-Dade county could have ever came up with. living in this shelter is a lie and manipulations. Staff members treat everyone like prisoners and the people that Chapman Partnership hired to help the residents of Chapman Partnership are not doing their jobs. They don't care, they suck everyone housing specialist, case managers, everyone who supposed to help everyone are discriminating against color and language barrier. Even the African American employees are only helping Spanish speaking natives and ignoring the English speaking clients and not doing anything to get everyone who is a resident out of the Chapman Partnership shelter. They're all paid to give people the runaround. They're only on their job whenever they need to discharge someone or tell someone to put on their mask. I HATE CHAPMAN! I wish that I could sue these people.

Chapman Partnership was a great experience, at first I couldn't understand why they were running their organization the way it was going until I had certain encounters with their wonderful staff. They were filled with so much peace, love, and self control. I honestly felt sorry for some of the staff members, experiencing and seeing some of the things that I've seen and experience. The kitchen staff was also great and welcoming. They treated us like real guest and really came through for me as a single exhausted mother. After losing my place and my 2 jobs my 3 children and I had no where else to go and Chapman Partnership welcomed us. They were well organized and handled me and my anxiety very well and I appreciate them for that. Love is truly in this place. God bless
