Such a wonderful and memorable experience I ve had at Chapman Global in Orange. Today I checked out from having a pretty invasive surgery on Friday. I feel it s my civic duty to share my recent personal experience with others that may not know about this hospital or be misled by unfairly made negative reviews. I Checked in on 5/14/21 (Friday). l was very nervous and I d never heard of this hospital and I was traveling from LA to Orange, alone. I had gone previously to another specialist for this same procedure at a private practice in the Brentwood area, but I didn t have a very good experience there, so I wasn t expecting too much from this place. But, during the short train ride I told myself I have to walk in with an open mind and not base my previous experience on this new one before it even happens. It s not fair to the staff and it s not fair to myself. I was there after all because I couldn t take care of what was wrong with me and I have to trust that these professionals, know what their doing, and that they will care for me the best possible way. So I walked into the lobby around 11:02 am. Immediately I was greeted by a gentleman wearing a mask at the front door. I was directed to the front desk a few feet away. He did this with a smile in his eyes. I was then greeted by a young woman, with a very professional and welcoming demeanor. I found these small moments are what changed my outlook. As I began to take in all my surroundings, It all became so easy and I could finally feel myself relax. After only a short moment of waiting, I was taken to the prep area where I changed into my gown. Everyone I saw had a mask on and seemed to be very happy to be there. The facilities were very clean, organized and quiet, but not eerily quiet. I appreciated this. Leigh/Lee was the woman that was assigned to me when it came to my IV and going over some questions. Carrie was also very helpful and friendly and even laughed with me for a bit. As it came closer to the time of my procedure, those that played a major role in my surgery including Joel, Dr. Najafi and Dr. Montgomery introduced themselves one by one explaining what was to be expected, all the while answering any questions I had. They took their time and really showed care for me as their patient. This was super professional, but more importantly it s the care that they showed for me that really mattered. I was taken into the OR were I was greeted by 3 others. I believe Corinna was one and the two other were men. They wore masks as well and the room itself was spacious, very modern and clean. It was very easy at this point to trust everyone and know I was going to be ok, if not great. I closed my eyes and when I awoke I didn t remember a thing, but I was smiling, laughing and thanking everyone. My doctor was there when I woke up to see how I was doing and he even called my partner to let him know it was a successful procedure. My Room was 219. It was very big and clean with a large window that I enjoyed looking out of, despite the weekend clouds. The woman that took me to my room was very careful and patient. What I ve learned from wearing a mask most of last year and these past few months is, If you are paying attention to people, you can see the kindness in there eyes. This is what I experienced from everyone at Chapman Global the entire 4 days I was there. Also, Because I have a gluten allergy the staff accommodated me with no issues, preparing flavorful and healthy meals. The willingness and the passion matched with the level of expertise these individuals put into caring for me, was above my expectations and anything I had ever experienced in this type of environment. This was my 3rd operation so far, but my first there at Chapman Global in Orange. A lot more can be said about how wonderful this hospital and staff are, but I m running out space. I appreciate all the staff at Chapman Global. Thank you to all my nurses and anyone that assisted 219. Everyone I met is there because they want to be and it shows. So please, appreciate them. Bless you all. - Michael

I do not recommend this hospital, nurses mistreat patients, they don t even answer right away when you press the call button..i had asked for help because i got out of surgery and i couldn t move and my nurse just stood.there.If only I could rate this hospital zero stars .
I do want give thanks 3 people
Peruvian lady who wash my hair and my body when i had so much dry blood onm me.
And young man who worked in grave shift who help me unbuckle my leg straps so i could go to the restroom.
And Christina my physical therapy who walked with me.
Other than that
Your hospital needs to re-teach procedure and policy to your staff they need it badly
This should be a team work ..not passing their job duties to others because they feel like doing it...
It was worsted 5 days i have stay in hospital ..i wish i won't ever go back there..

I have been under a lot of medical care over the passed year due to a necrotic pancreas.
The service I received here from nurse Sal was top notch. I have not felt this well taken care of in a very long time.
I thought it was my duty to let someone know what a great job everyone here has done. All of my doctors have come to see me daily, even my GI s Dennis and Bryan Riff, whom are always very busy have stopped in twice in the 48 hours I have been here.
My surgeon Dr Nguyen even came in and removed my feeding tube himself.
I am more than pleased with everyone here and this will be the first place I look to should I ever be in need of medical help in the future.
Thank you for reading.

I went in for an eye injury & the doctor concluded they did not have the resources to help me there. I received no medical care and they proceeded to refer me to a different hospital. I ended walking out of their facility and drove to St Josephs where I received the proper care.

The negative review is not because the lack of help, It is the ridiculous medical bill I received in the mail 3 months later.

I was billed $2,652.20 for literally walking through their door and receiving nothing in return. If you want to feel ripped off this is the place to go.

I spent more time filling out all the paper work with my social security number and contact information for the future bill then I did for any medical service.

Just know, if you go here, the bassline cost before any medical treatment is going to be a minimum of $2,500. Attached is my bill. Be Warned!

For reference I did call their billing department to explain the situation and was only offered a payment plan for the full amount. They recommended I speak to my insurance company to try and get them to cover more of the bill. I have no problem paying a reasonable amount for the visit, but thousands of dollars for nothing is a solid gut punch.

This medical center is straight up predatory. I would not recommend going here under any circumstance.

*I will happily update this review if they decide to work with me on the cost of the visit, but until then, I guess I am out $2.5K if I don't want to destroy my credit!

I would like to commend Deanna P., Telecom Operator for her excellent service to the public as we walk into the hospital. She always has a smile, friendly to all, and cares about each family member who needs her assistance. Thank you Deanna

The hospital staff are all above and beyond employees aside from one specific employee named shelly who works with the subacute unit. Shelly has been nothing but rude and disrespectful towards employees below her, myself, and my family. I m sure other employees can agree as well if questioned about her. I have never experienced such disgust and disrespect in my life as Shelly is giving to us. She does not deserve the privilege to speak to the public nor hold a position at this hospital as any job title. Her experience with patient communication/public communication is by far the worst I ve dealt with. I hope this is seen by the higher up management team. you need to have a word with her about correcting her attitude or else she should be terminated of her position.

Wow! I could not be more impressed with this gem!...

Wow! I could not be more impressed with this gem! I have been in the healthcare field for over 15 years and have always struggled to find superior care.

On Wednesday afternoon, I received a call from my daughter stating that she was just bucked off a horse. Her left hip was in throbbing pain and had all the symptoms of a concussion. I drove to her immediately and searched for the closest hospital. It was Chapman Global Medical Center. I had never been to this ER but knew she needed care quickly.

From the minute we pulled up, there was a nurse walking out to assess our situation. We were brought back immediately. We were greeted by each staff member as we were wheeled back. Within 10 minutes, we met Dr. Coombe who would be our physician. I was beyond impressed with Dr. Coombe. He was extremely thorough with his examination and explained everything he was doing. He even took the time to explain what he was thinking and the steps he wanted to take. He even printed out some documentation supporting his decision. Dr. Coombe also came in several times to check in on her, see how she was doing and update us on his findings. I could not have been more impressed!!

We walked in had a full examination, an x-ray of her hip, CAT scan of her head, multiple conversations of the finding, prescriptions and discharged within 2.5 hours. I don't even think we would have been in a room in most ER's.

Thank you to Dr. Coombe and the entire staff at Chapman Global Medical Center for your excellent care!! I highly recommend this medical center for any medical need!
